Both Four Eyes and Ling Li were perspiring when they finished while catching their breath. Their bed was still swaying like a boat.
Four Eyes remained on top of Ling Li with his face buried in her neck. Ling Li felt so overwheld by what had just happened. She closes her eyes and doesn’t want to think about anything. They had sex for almost four hours.
Ling Li fell into slumber. Four Eye drifted for a while as well but was able to wake up fast. He realized he was still on top of Ling Li and had fallen asleep.
Four Eyes went to the bathroom to prepare to wash her. Four Eyes carried her, washed her body, and laid her back in bed to let her sleep. Four Eyes adjusted the bed so it wouldn’t be too soft and moving a lot. He showered and then packed his things for tomorrow’s departure.
Four Eyes looked at Ling Li, who was sleeping with satisfaction. He didn’t want to disturb Ling Li, so he went down to find Mushu instead. Four Eyes found him seated by the foyer.
"There you are," Mushu said. "I was wondering where you have been."
"I packed and took a nap." Four Eyes explained.
"What do you like to do today?" Mushu asked.
Four Eyes just shrugged his shoulders.
"Do you like to play chess? Poker? Billiards? Tennis? Table tennis?" Mushu asked, but nothing seed to pique Four Eyes’ interest. He was losing ideas.
"Do you like to learn boxing? MMA?..."
Four Eyes’eyes seem to light up.
’Thank goodness I found one he likes. Phew!’ Mushu though as he rubbed his temple.
"Okay, let’s have a light lunch and proceed to the ring." Mushu stood up and invited him to the dining hall.
Ling Li woke up late in the afternoon, found herself alone in bed, and returned to her room to change. She went down to eat. Pharsa inford her of Mushu and Four Eyes’ whereabouts.
Four Eyes knew karate, so it was easy for Mushu to coach him into MMA. They sparred for several hours and enjoyed the whole afternoon.
Ling Li didn’t join them for dinner, so Four Eyes entered her room. When Ling Li saw him, she imdiately said, "Don’t worry, I won’t let you take responsibility for what happened today. I’m honestly busy right now, and I have a video conference about to start." Ling Li dismissed him instantly.
But that is not what Four Eyes ca for and wanted to say; it is actually the other way around. But Ling Li would not give him a chance to say anything. With the Four Eyes personality, who hardly talks, he just turned around and left the room.
Early the next morning, they left the island using several choppers to board their private jet at the airport. Normally, Ling Li prefers to fly comrcial flights to look around and interact with people; Ling Li believes that keeping a low profile is best, but she is currently injured. Therefore, she has to stay vigilant. It was still dark when they left the island silently.
It was about a six-hour flight. When Ling Li and her group arrived at their destination, the cars were already waiting for them on the tarmac, and they could leave the airport imdiately and swiftly.
They are all in a bulletproof limo provided by El Padre. They must drive for about forty-five minutes to reach his headquarters.
El Padre is the Godfather of the world’s mafias, controlling and running nearly all of them. However, this does not prevent the existence of enemies. In this kind of organization, the superior you are, the greater everyone wants to get and take over your throne.
While El Capitan oversees and controls the underground world.
After driving for thirty minutes, "We have a tail." Rockie reported that soone was closely following them. Just seconds after, one of their convoys blew up; a grenade launcher struck it.
"Call El Padre for backup. We are only ten minutes away." Ling Li instructed.
Mushu called and reported to El Padre.
"Are they running into the tiger’s den???!!!" El Padre yelled angrily. "We are on our way!"
"Run at full speed!" Ling Li once again instructed.
Two minutes later. "We are locked on their target!" Rockie exclaid.
"Get down!" Ling Li pulled Four Eyes to the floor and dived atop him. Pharsa and Mushu followed through.
El Padre saw their limo blow up in the air in front of him. His heart stops beating for a second in shock. He fiercely shouted, "Kill them all!!!"
El Padre maneuvered with his bodyguard to Ling Li’s car, pulled each of them, and brought them to his headquarters.
Eleven months later, Ling Li woke up in an unfamiliar room. She looked around and realized she had an infusion attached to her hand and oxygen; there was a beeping sound.
’A heart monitor?’ Ling Li thought to herself, feeling disoriented and confused. ’What happened?’ She struggled to recall the events that led to this mont.
’How long have I been unconscious?’ The question lingered in Ling Li’s mind as she tried to make sense of her situation.
In a short while, Pharsa entered the room.
"Madam, you’re finally awake!" Pharsa exclaid with real excitent, rushing out the door to share the news with everyone.
"Madam is awake!" Pharsa cried out.
Soon, El Padre, Mushu, and Four Eyes hurried into the room, with Four Eyes carefully holding two tiny babies.
"Finally, you’re awake! You’ve been sleeping for so long," exclaid El Padre with a mix of relief and impatience.
"Look, you’re missing much ti with these two little darlings." El Padre pointed to the two babies.
Ling Li’s brows crisscrossed together, wondering what she had to do with those babies despite them being such adorable twins.
’Did Four Eyes get married?’ Ling Li thought. She felt a stab in her heart. "How long have I been out?" She asked.
"More than eleven months." El Padre declared.
Ling Li couldn’t believe what she had heard. She looked at Pharsa and Mushu.
"It took six months and three months for Mushu," Pharsa explained.
"Rockie, Where is Rockie?’ Ling Li asked.
Pharsa looked down and pursed her lips.
"Tell !" Ling Li said sternly.
