"What?" Ling Li was surprised to learn that she had to nurse both babies at the sa ti. "How do I do that?"

"I will help you; let hold her first," Four Eyes replied while Ling Li took off her top.

"Put her in this position." Four Eyes put a pillow on her lap and gave her the first baby.

"This is beneficial for you. This position is how you should hold her." Ling Li was now holding the second baby while the heads of the first baby were next to each other, sucking on Mother’s milk.

"They’ve been doing this with ?" Ling Li asked.

"Um." Four Eyes nodded.

"I’ll be back." Four Eyes said and went out, coming back quickly with a warm glass of milk.

"Drink this. It will be good for you while nursing the twins." Four Eyes said softly while putting the glass near Ling Li’s mouth to feed her since both her hands were occupied.

Ling Li looked at Four Eyes but obeyed and drank the milk anyway. Ling Li realized she had two babies to nurse and needed to be healthy. She’d been relying on infusions.

"Have you given them nas?" Ling Li asked.

Four Eyes shook his head while giving her the rest of the milk.

"What nas do you have in mind?"

"You decide." Four Eyes replied.

"Give ti, and I will ask The Heaven." Ling Li said.

Four Eyes couldn’t understand what Ling Li ant by The Heaven; he had heard her saying it several tis.

Ling Li noticed Four Eye’s silence and knew what he was thinking.

"You’ll understand what I an in ti," Ling Li assured Four Eyes.

"Um."

The twins seed to be gluttons, and Ling Li imdiately felt thirsty again.

"Can I have another glass of milk?" Ling Li requested. Four Eyes went out and quickly returned, feeding Ling Li the milk to finish.

"They truly eat a lot," Four Eyes said. "That is enough for now. I’ll give them a formula. It’s not good for your body to feed them too much. When you recover and get stronger, you can feed them more," Four Eyes declared while taking the babies from Ling Li.

Ling Li didn’t argue. She felt weak as well.

Four Eyes went out with the babies and returned with chicken soup and a little porridge.

"Have this first before you go back to rest," Four Eyes said, blowing out the hot soup.

"I’ll feed you." Four Eyes insisted.

"Here, it’s no longer hot."

"You cannot eat solid food for now. You have not eaten for so long. Eat soft food first," Four Eyes said.

"I understand."

After Ling Li finished the whole bowl, she felt sleepy again, but she wanted to go to the bathroom. She tried to get up.

"Where are you going?" Four Eyes asked.

"I want to go to the bathroom." Ling Li responded.

"I’ll help you."

"I can do it myself." But when Ling Li tried to stand, she almost fell. Without Four Eyes’ promptness in catching her, she would have fallen flat on the floor.

"You have not moved for almost a year. Of course, your muscles have turned weak." Four Eyes told her and lifted her to the bathroom.

While inside, Four Eyes let Ling Li sit on the toilet and helped her remove her diapers.

"Do what you must, but don’t get up without . I’ll be back." Four Eyes said with a warning tone.

Four Eyes returned in a breeze with a set of her favorite kimono instead of pajamas, with fresh towels and undies.

"Do you want to take a bath? Or can we only change your clothes? I always bathe you every day anyway," Four Eyes asked.

Ling Li felt her heart skip when she heard Four Eyes say that he bathed her daily.

"I’ll take a bath," Ling Li replied. ’It would feel good,’ she thought.

Four Eyes filled the tub for Ling Li, ensured the temperature was right, and helped her take off her clothes. Four eyes had learned how to take the infusion in and out of the sleeves of her shirt—and carried her into the tub.

Ling Li felt so good when she felt the warm water touching her body. She closed her eyes, and Four Eyes could see how she was enjoying it. Then, he let her soak for a while before washing her body. Four Eyes feared Ling Li would catch a cold if she stayed in the water too long.

"Would you like to wash your hair?" Four Eyes asked.

Ling Li nodded.

Four Eyes washed her hair. Ling Li felt so refreshed after the bath.

Four Eyes carried her back to bed and blow-dried her hair. "We should cut your hair a little shorter. It has grown very long." Four Eyes comnted.

"Um, Pharsa can do it for ." Ling Li agreed.

"Rest now. Get plenty of sleep, okay?" Four Eyes told her as he dried her hair and positioned her to sleep.

"Thank you."

Four Eyes kissed her on her forehead. Ling Li had shivers down the spine. ’Dang, this man still has this sa effect on !’

"I’ll check on our little ones, okay? I’ll be back. You rest and be good." Four Eyes said softly, caressing her hair before finally leaving the room.

Ling Li felt sleepy after taking a bath and felt comfortable.

When Ling Li woke up, she knocked on her side table. Prompting, Pharsa swiftly entered the room within seconds. It was a call for her to co.

"Please connect to the Chinese President." Ling Li said.

"Madam, I was thrilled when I heard you’re back!" The Chinese President happily said.

"I’m also thrilled to hear your voice. It’s been a long ti." Ling Li responded.

"Well, what can I do for you, Madam?" The Chinese President politely asked.

"My muscles have greatly deteriorated. Please send so of the best acupuncturists from your country." Ling Li requested.

"Surely, I’ll arrange for it at once. I’ll coordinate with El Padre how to get them in." The Chinese President instantly agreed.

"Thank you then."

"Madam, every ti you thank , I can’t stop my eyes from crying. hahaha." The Chinese President teasingly said.

The two chatted for a while longer before saying goodbye.
