"Mom, does he talk?" Lily asked curiously, pointing to Four Eyes.
"Of course! Why?" Ling Li finds the question funny but rembers Four Eyes is indeed a man of few words.
"I tried to talk with him, but he only used his head to answer ," Lily told her.
“Ha ha ha ha, Mushu, Pharsa!” Ling Li called them in.
"Yes, Madam."
"Lily has a question." Ling Li told them, giggling.
Pharsa looks at Lily.
"Does he talk?" Lily pointed to Four Eyes.
Mushu and Pharsa chuckled as well.
"Oh, your stepfather is a man of few words. You are lucky to hear him say yes or no." Mushu explained.
"But I’m sure he talks a lot with your mother in private," Pharsa added teasingly.
"Do you want to be punished?" Four Eyes whispered to Ling Li as he gritted his teeth.
"Pharsa asked the nannies to bring down the twins. I’m sure they are up by now." Ling Li abruptly changed the topic after hearing what Four Eyes whispered in her ears, which gave her goosebumps
"Yes! We want to see our little sisters!" Ren let out happily.
"Young Miss, when will you start your own family?" Mushu asked Ren. Mushu has always been very close to the children and considered family, so they can always communicate freely with them.
Ren and Shun looked at each other and then at Ling Li as if they wanted to say sothing but couldn’t.
It didn’t escape Mushu and Ling Li’s eyes.
The awkward situation was broken by Pharsa’s announcent.
"The twins are here!"
"Let carry one!" Lily yelled excitedly as she got up.
"I want one too!" Ren followed her.
Each of the sisters took one of the twins, happily swaying and giggling. The twins are both wide awake and are also excitedly kicking their feet.
"Mom, they are so cute.!" Ren said it sweetly. But just as she finished the sentence, she heard, ‘poooooot... poooooot.......!’ And Ren felt the slight vibration on her hand and slled sothing terribly wrong.
"O.. ow. Poop Alert! Poop Alert!" Pharsa confird in a funny tone.
"Brat!" Ren said. "I just said you’re cute, and you poop on !" Ren said as she tickled her baby sister, who was still happily kicking her legs as if nothing had happened and she didn’t care.
"Is this how you welco your big sister?" Ren playfully looked at her younger sister and kissed her. However, she couldn’t help but cringed her nose as she slled the poop again.
The Nanny ca forward to take the baby to change nappies.
"No, no, no, I will co with you. Show how to do it. I want to do it." Ren said to the Nanny.
But the Nanny didn’t move and looked at Ling Li instead for consent. Ling Li laughed, she nodded and said, "These are my children." She inford the nannies.
The Nanny politely bowed to Ren, "This way, Young Miss."
Ren followed the Nanny to the nursery with her little sister in her hands.
"Mom, am I holding Kim Kim or Chin Chin?" Lily curiously asked.
"Hon, look if it’s Chin or Kim." Ling Li asked Four Eyes to check instead, but without even getting up, Four Eyes could easily recognize who it was.
"It’s Kim Kim." Four Eyes calmly replied.
"How can you tell?’ Ling Li asked curiously.
"Hair."
"What’s the difference with their hair?" Ling Li asked again.
"Fuller."
"Mom! How can you be slacking and not knowing your children better than stepdad!" Lily scolded her Mom.
"He is really close to them. I was still in a coma when they were born." Ling Li reasoned.
"Mom, you have recovered for over two months! It’s more than enough to know them! You’re a brilliant and skilled person! I know you!" Lily snarled. "I will let my big sister scold you better!"
"You!"
"Whaaaaaaaat!!!! How could you little brat pop so much!!!" They could hear Ren shouting from the nursery, and they all laughed.
"Shun, how long has it been since we saw each other?" Ling Li chatted to Shun this ti.
"Yes, Auntie, it’s been a long ti," Shun replied timidly.
"Have you planned your future with Ren?"
"Auntie, I honestly ca to talk with you this ti. I thought about it well and would like to go through the training you offered." Shun said directly.
"Does Ren know?" Ling Li inquired.
"I told her about it. Ren is very reluctant because she is scared of the training. However, I know this is the only way I could protect her and our future children. She needs to understand and accept reality." Shun expressed his concern.
"That is very true. When do you plan to start training?" Ling Li asked.
"I am ready to start anyti. But I would like to ask a favor from you, Auntie." Shun asked politely.
"What is it? Tell ."
"Auntie, my only request is, while I’m on training, could you please keep Ren safe for ? Ren has been very dependent on . She might break down with her sudden loss of sight of my appearance beside her, and Ren tends to overthink things. Please calm her down for . This is all I will ask you while I’m training." Shun said sincerely.
"Shun, you are very thoughtful and very kind, and I appreciate your concern for Ren.Ren is my daughter. I will do everything you asked." Ling Li affird Shun; she could only admire Shun for his love for Ren.
Just as Ling Li was assuring Shun, Ren re-entered the living room with her little sister in her arms.
"Big sister! Mom is slacking with our little sisters! You have to scold her! She could not even tell who Chin Chin was or Kim Kim!" Lily spoke out with a grin while sticking her tongue out to her Mom.
"Mom, how could you!" Ren scolded her Mom.
Ling Li only rolled her eyes at her two daughters and pouted her lips.
"Stepdad is great! He could tell just by looking at them! The one you are holding is Chin Chin. I’m holding Kim Kim!" Lily announced cheerfully.
"Hi, Chin Chin! You brat, you poop a lot!" Ren said happily while Chin Chin happily kicked and cooed in her arms. "Stepdad sounds so old. Let’s call him Paps!"
"Paps it is! Ha ha ha!" Lily said happily.
