The declaration of the triumvirate sent shockwaves through every corner of the palace and beyond, despite the threats from princess Elowen, Lady Sera and Alpha Magnus.

By evening, riders carried the news to every province: the triplet princes would rule Silvermoor not as rivals but as one indivisible power. No single coronation. No ceremonial combat to decide a successor. Instead, three thrones of equal height were hastily constructed on the raised dais: dark oak inlaid with moonstone and silver, arranged in a perfect triangle so none sat higher than the others.

The court gathered again at dusk, torches blazing, banners of the royal wolf sigil fluttering overhead. Many nobles attended under duress, their expressions a mixture of resentnt, fear, and opportunistic calculation. The purged houses left empty seats like missing teeth in a once-proud smile. In their place sat newly elevated loyalists, minor barons and pack alphas who had proven themselves in the catacombs, eager to secure their elevated status.

Seren sat at the center of the triangle, a smaller but no less ornate seat prepared for her. She wore a simple yet regal gown of deep forest green that complented the dark fur now permanently visible along her shoulders and arms. Her golden-flecked eyes missed nothing. The wolf inside her stirred at the undercurrents of ambition and lingering treachery in the room, feeding quiet warnings through the strengthened bond to her mates.

Kael rose first, his presence commanding the hall into silence. "We have spent too long pretending one of us must stand alone. The old ways nearly destroyed us. Tonight we declare a new path; the Triumvirate of Silvermoor. Kael for strength and justice. Aeron for strategy and governance. Theron for shadows and security. Together, we are one crown."

Aeron continued seamlessly, his voice cool and precise. "Lands seized from traitors will be redistributed fairly. Loyal houses receive priority in trade routes and military commands. The lower packs and servant classes will gain protections against arbitrary punishnt. The conspiracy has shown us the rot that grows in division. Unity will be our blade against it."

Theron finished with a shadowed smile that promised both rcy and nace. "Anyone who plots against the triumvirate will face not one alpha, but three. And our mate; a wolf in truth, stands as living proof that strength cos in unexpected forms."

Murmurs spread. So nobles bowed deeply, accepting the unprecedented solution because it preserved stability and offered them continued influence under the new order. Others exchanged uneasy glances, already calculating how to exploit any cracks between the brothers. Yet the coordinated leadership was undeniable: Kael’s decisive justice balanced Aeron’s long-term planning, while Theron’s intelligence network filled the gaps none of the others could see. Their styles complented rather than competed, a harmony forged in blood and ritual.

Seren watched it all with quiet pride. The bond thrumd warmly between the four of them, her new wolf senses picking up the subtle shifts in scent and heartbeat around the room. She was no longer the fragile human who had been kidnapped; she was part of the power now, her presence a stabilizing force that reminded the court of the cost of betrayal.

Rewards followed the declarations. Loyal minor lords knelt and received new titles, grants of land, and betrothals to strengthen alliances. A young pack alpha from the western forests was granted stewardship over the confiscated eastern territories. A steadfast servant captain who had fought in the underground passages was elevated to commander of the royal guard. Each grant was announced jointly by the triplets, their voices weaving together in seamless coordination that left no room for doubt.

As the ceremonies continued, the triplets used the crisis to reshape the court’s very structure. New advisory councils were ford with seats reserved for representatives from all pack levels, not just the high nobility. Laws against wolfsbane trafficking and unauthorized silver weapons were passed by simple decree. The treasury, swollen with seized gold from the traitors, funded imdiate repairs to the damaged palace and compensation for families of loyal guards who had fallen.

Seren spoke only once, her voice soft yet carrying the new resonance of wolf. "I was the excuse for this conspiracy. But I will not be the weakness. Together we are stronger than any single ruler could ever be."

Her words landed with surprising force. Even the most skeptical nobles lowered their eyes.

By midnight, the imdiate consolidation seed complete. The court dispersed under watchful guard, many retiring to quarters now monitored by Theron’s expanded network of informants. The triplets and Seren withdrew to their chamber, exhausted but united.

Kael pulled Seren into his lap, careful of her still-tender body. "You handled them well, little wolf."

Aeron poured wine for all four, a rare, relaxed smile touching his lips. "The triumvirate will hold. Their fear of us is greater than their ambition, for now."

Theron swirled his cup, eyes distant. "Most of the rot is gone. But the roots remain. Elowen’s ssage was only the first. She will not accept shared rule easily."

They spoke late into the night, planning the next steps: border patrols strengthened, diplomatic envoys sent to wavering provinces, and a formal proclamation to be issued at dawn affirming the triumvirate’s authority.

As the moon climbed high and the palace finally quieted, a soft knock sounded at the princes’, chamber door. A shadowed ssenger, one of Theron’s own, slipped inside, face grim.

"My lords, my lady... urgent word from the southern roads. Princess Elowen has not rely declared her claim. She has secured alliances with three major surviving houses and the border legions. Her forces number in the thousands and march under the banner of ’restoring true royal blood.’ She calls the triumvirate an abomination born of unnatural bonding."

The ssenger placed a second scroll on the table; Elowen’s personal seal clearly visible, the wax still warm.

"She demands a parley... or war. And she specifically requests the presence of the ’changed human’ who stole her brothers’ loyalty."

The room fell silent. Seren’s new claws flexed involuntarily against Kael’s arm. The bond flared with protective fury from all three alphas.

The conspiracy’s aftermath had bought them ti to heal and consolidate.

But the realm’s deepest fracture, embodied by their own ambitious sister, now marched openly against them.

The triumvirate had been declared.

The first true test of its strength was already on the horizon.
