Lorze opened the tir on his phone and began calculating exactly how long Ralts's Trace Ability lasted from activation to deactivation.
After a few tests, he confird that Ralts could currently only maintain a traced Ability for about 3 minutes. This amount of ti was definitely not enough for a high-stakes, high-level battle.
If Lorze wanted to bring the traced Huge Power Ability into a tournant, she needed to maintain it stably for at least ten minutes just to et the absolute minimum requirents of a match.
Plus, he had to ensure that when Ralts saw an opponent's Pokémon, she wouldn't imdiately auto-trace their Ability and accidentally overwrite Huge Power.
Therefore, teaching Ralts how to consciously control whether her Ability activated, and who it activated on, was the most urgent fucking problem to solve right now.
"Ralts, let know the exact mont you feel the Huge Power Ability starting to fade. We'll try using our 'ntal Intertwining' state to see if we can stop your Ability from triggering wildly again." Lorze began exploring thods to physically control the Ability.
"Ralt!" Ralts acknowledged, then completely focused her mind and began to ditate.
It wasn't until Lorze warned her that the three-minute mark was approaching that Ralts could clearly feel the explosive physical strength brought by the Huge Power Ability gradually receding.
Just a split second before the power completely vanished, Ralts urgently alerted Lorze.
Lorze imdiately held his breath, concentrated his mind, and focused all his attention onto Ralts.
After a month of spending day and night completely attached to each other, Lorze and Ralts were now able to instantly enter this wondrous state of absolute ntal synchronization.
Lorze even ca up with a cool na for this ntally intertwined state. He called it... Mind Fucking!
Cough, cough. Okay, fine. He actually called it 'Telepathic Resonance Mode'.
In this mode, the ntal fluctuations of the human and the Pokémon perfectly overlapped, allowing them to clearly feel each other's innermost thoughts.
Their emotions, their senses, everything seed to perfectly superimpose onto one another.
In this exact mont, they acted as a single entity. Just like a Kangaskhan and its baby—clearly two separate life forms, yet capable of being recalled into the exact sa Poké Ball.
Of course, that didn't an Lorze could physically fit inside a Poké Ball. It just illustrated how incredibly flawlessly in sync he and Ralts were right now.
Even Azumarill, who was busy training nearby, glanced over at them in surprise. Honestly, Azumarill had no idea what the hell was going on with them, but she inexplicably felt that their aura was completely different from before.
Boosted by [Telepathic Resonance Mode], Ralts's perception and elental energy control were significantly enhanced. This was the main reason their training efficiency had been so ridiculously high.
However, the usually flawless Telepathic Resonance Mode suffered a crushing defeat when it ca to controlling Ralts's Ability. The exact mont Ralts's Huge Power Ability faded, because she could still perfectly sense Azumarill's presence nearby, the Trace Ability instantly activated uncontrollably again.
The pristine mirror was eager to be stained with the colors of Huge Power once more.
Ralts strained with all her might, but only managed to suppress the Ability for about ten seconds. Ultimately, she couldn't hold back that bizarre power, and once again forcefully absorbed Azumarill's Huge Power Ability as her own.
"Ralt..." Ralts imdiately lowered her head in utter frustration, extrely dissatisfied with the result. Their Telepathic Resonance Mode actually failed.
"Don't stress about it. I never expected us to master this in such a short amount of ti anyway. We still have about a month left, we'll just take it step by step." Lorze quickly stroked her tiny head to comfort her.
"Ralt!" Encouraged, Ralts quickly cheered back up.
"Alright, since you've already traced the Huge Power Ability again, we can't just sit here like idiots waiting for it to fade. We might as well train this new power while we have it. Big Sis Azumarill, could you teach my Ralts how to throw so punches?" Lorze called out to Azumarill.
"Azuma? (Throw punches?)" Azumarill paused her own training, looking at Ralts with an incredibly bizarre expression.
It wasn't that she looked down on the Pokémon, but did he seriously think Ralts's tiny, fragile little body was built for boxing?
Even with the buff from her Huge Power Ability, Ralts wasn't exactly a Physical Attack-oriented Pokémon, right?
"It's fine, I have a plan. I'm counting on you, Big Sis Azumarill~." Lorze pleaded.
"Azuma. (Alright fine, who told you to be my precious junior?)" Azumarill nodded. She then led Ralts over to a punching bag and began teaching her personal boxing techniques and power-generation thods.
You have to understand, her power-generation thod was an exclusive, top-secret recipe. She wouldn't teach it to an outsider even if they paid her.
This technique combined the power chanics of the move 'Strength'. By relying on this technique to execute punching moves, she could literally stack the base power of 'Strength' onto the attack.
For example, the base power of Ice Punch is 75, while the base power of Strength is 80.
If her opponent saw her use a asly 75-power Ice Punch and failed to take it seriously, they would often be brutally caught off guard by the hidden 80-power shockwave stacked right on top of it. Combined with the Huge Power Ability that literally doubled her Attack stat, in most cases, her opponents couldn't even survive a single fucking punch from her.
This single punch contained twenty years of pure fucking skill!
This was an absolutely devastating combo technique. It was sothing Roxanne had randomly brainstord and developed with Azumarill back when she first beca a Trainer. Now do you understand why they called Roxanne a genius Trainer?
It was just a damn sha that Roxanne completely gave up and beca a lazy slacker later on. Otherwise, God knows what insane heights she could have reached by now.
If this combo technique stayed with Azumarill, its potential would probably be capped right here for the rest of her life. She might as well pass it down to her precious junior and let it shine brilliantly in their hands once again.
Azumarill stopped caring whether Ralts was physically suited for boxing. She was just going to teach it first and ask questions later.
anwhile, Lorze stood to the side staring intently at the tir, repeatedly calculating exactly how long Ralts could retain the Huge Power Ability.
He discovered that while Ralts was actively throwing punches, the Huge Power Ability could be maintained for a full five minutes—a solid two minutes longer than her initial attempts.
Perhaps this had sothing to do with the Huge Power Ability itself. After all, it was an Ability specifically tailored for physical brawling, so naturally, it was easier to maintain while actually throwing punches.
Lorze suddenly felt that his Ralts was actually quite suited for boxing. Who the fuck said you couldn't throw hands just because you had tiny arms and legs?
Does boxing depend on your gender?!
Cough, cough. He ant that Pokémon are entirely different from humans. A Pokémon's strength originates from various elental energies, not purely raw physical muscle. As long as they could master that energy, even a fucking fart could blow soone to pieces.
In the gas, Ralts's base Physical Attack stat was almost half of her Special Attack, making her genuinely terrible for physical brawling.
However, under the massive buff of the Huge Power Ability, her Physical Attack literally doubled, actually surpassing her Special Attack by a tiny margin.
In other words, the current Ralts was perfectly suited for throwing fucking hands!
Think about it carefully. When opponents faced a Pokémon like Ralts, they would undoubtedly prep for a long-range, telekinetic battle of attrition, right?
But what if, right at that mont, Ralts suddenly teleported directly into their face, grabbed them for a brutal Facebreaker, and followed up with a fully charged Haymaker? Wouldn't she beat the absolute living shit out of them until their own mothers couldn't recognize them?
Especially against Special Defense-tank Pokémon, a physical-brawler Ralts would undoubtedly yield miraculously devastating results.
Heavyweight Boxing Champion Ralts. I dare ask, have you ever seen so shit like that?
