trono seed to be this Chansey's inherited Egg Move, used with practiced ease and absurd luck.
It hadn't summoned a single negative or self-harming move yet.
Instead, a variety of high-damage, diverse-type ultimate moves were being hurled one after another.
Ralts was forced to scramble up and down, looking incredibly pathetic as she dodged the onslaught.
However, just when everyone assud Ralts couldn't hold on much longer, a ga-changing scene occurred!
The Chansey waggled its finger as usual, gathering a surge of Normal-type energy at its fingertip.
The energy then violently dove straight into its stomach.
The Chansey's hands, guided by a strange instinct, began vigorously slapping its own belly.
The next second, the Chansey's aura skyrocketed to a terrifying level, but its expression imdiately twisted in agony.
Its body visibly weakened, looking physically drained in a split second.
This sudden change might not have felt obvious to the viewers watching the stream.
But for the live audience, the shift in atmosphere was breathtakingly intense.
For a mont, most people—including its Trainer, Yue Qiao—froze in confusion.
They didn't understand why Chansey's aura had suddenly spiked so hard while its physical health seed to crater.
Did it just go into so kind of berserker mode?
It looked like Chansey had rolled so kind of massive buffing move, but no one was quite sure what it was.
After all, most rookies have a very limited knowledge of the vast movepool in the Pokémon world.
They might know the popular ones like Swords Dance or Calm Mind, but they were clueless about the niche, high-risk moves.
Neither of those moves provided a spike this terrifyingly violent.
So what the hell did Chansey just roll?
Even Lorze was initially startled by the overwhelming pressure.
This buff gave off the illusion that Chansey could now solo the entire world; it was truly horrifying.
But he quickly realized exactly what had happened.
In his vast knowledge of Pokémon, there was only one move that provided such a massive buff at such a high cost: Belly Drum.
And Chansey's belly-slapping motion just now was the exact trigger to convert its life force into raw physical power.
Belly Drum: Reduces the user's HP by exactly half of its maximum to maximize its Physical Attack stat ( 12 stages).
What does a 12 stage Physical Attack boost even an?
Swords Dance, a god-tier move, only raises the stat by 2 stages—each stage roughly a 50% increase.
A 12-stage boost would technically be a 600% increase in power.
Of course, reality worked a bit differently than the gas; while there was no hard cap at 6 stages, the diminishing returns after the 6th stage were massive.
Regardless, it remained a horrifyingly powerful move, but it was entirely wasted on a Chansey.
Most importantly... the move had just forced Chansey to sacrifice half of its own health.
It had literally saved Ralts the ti of chipping it away with her telepathic "scraping."
And since Yue Qiao clearly hadn't realized what had just happened to her own Pokémon, this was his golden opportunity.
Lorze made an instantaneous decision, shouting to his partner: "Ralts! DO IT NOW!"
Following Lorze's roar, Ralts responded instantly, Teleporting behind Chansey in the blink of an eye.
Yue Qiao finally snapped out of her daze. Now was definitely not the ti to be staring!
Even if she didn't know the exact move, a buff was a buff—that was a good thing!
As for Ralts Teleporting into lee range, her first instinct was to ignore it.
Ralts wasn't built for close-quarters combat; what was the difference between a point-blank Psychic and a long-range one?
Both were useless against a Chansey, right?
Could Ralts possibly be trying a physical move?
Don't make laugh; with those twig-like arms and legs...
"THUNDER PUNCH!"
Before Yue Qiao could finish her thought, Ralts's tiny fist erupted with a blinding, crackling arc of gold electricity.
The next second, the Huge Power Ability exploded into life!
The Strength-style power generation technique was flawlessly executed!
Thunder Punch launched!
The entire combo was completed in a literal heartbeat.
Ralts's tiny fist slamd violently into Chansey's back.
"BOOM!"
In that split second, Yue Qiao was still doubting Ralts's physical capability.
The audience was still wondering why Lorze would send Ralts into suicide-lee range.
Then, the massive, round body of Chansey—possessing a pathetic base Physical Defense of only 5—was violently blasted away.
It was hit so hard it flew straight past Yue Qiao and toward Lorze.
Its body tumbled and rolled across the arena floor for several rotations.
It finally slamd into the protective energy barrier in front of Lorze, sending ripples through the shield before coming to a dead stop.
But by then, Chansey's eyes had already turned into chaotic spirals.
The entire "egg" lay there, unconscious and defeated.
One punch!
A one-hit KO?!
Yue Qiao was left standing there, completely jaw-dropped.
The audience was equally stunned into a deafening silence.
Xue Tong, sitting in the guest booth, actually stood up from her seat in shock.
Her eyes were wide with utter disbelief.
As a Gardevoir Trainer, she knew better than anyone that the line's physical attack was trash. How the hell was this possible?
Even the referee froze for a few seconds before rembering his duty to declare Lorze the winner.
The entire arena seed to have been knocked unconscious by that single punch.
A few seconds of dead silence were followed by a collective, earth-shattering roar of disbelief.
The livestream chat was an absolute war zone!
"HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK! What just happened???"
"Can soone explain that to ? Am I literally dreaming right now?"
"Ralts... one-punched... a Chansey???"
"God-tier hacks! That Ralts is definitely using a cheat code, this is too much!"
"Tell a joke: Ralts is a Special Attacker."
"Goddess Xue Tong, please analyze this! My brain is literally fried right now!"
The crowd was in a frenzy, everyone waiting for Xue Tong to break down the logic behind that strike.
Only a master like her could possibly explain what had just transpired.
Behind her screen, Anna Lee rubbed her eyes vigorously, wondering if she was hallucinating.
She couldn't believe it!
Weren't Ralts and Lorze just pushed to the absolute brink of defeat?
How the fuck did they just OHKO a Chansey?
Chansey has 250 HP, for god's sake!
Even if you win, at least land a few more hits!
Winning with a single punch is just too obvious of a cheat, isn't it?!
I'm out! This is bullshit!
But Anna also realized that Lorze had won—aning he wouldn't have to date that Yue Qiao girl, right?
"Goddess Xue Tong... what was that?" the comntator asked, his voice shaking.
Even with his years of professional experience, he couldn't wrap his head around it.
He could only turn to the Ralts expert for answers.
Xue Tong remained silent for a long mont, clearly trying to process what she saw.
Finally, she gave a bitter smile and offered her analysis.
"That punch was entirely outside of my expectations. I can only think of one possible logical explanation."
"What is it?!" the comntator demanded.
The audience leaned in, desperate to know.
Was there really any other explanation besides 'Hacks'?!
"If it were my own Gardevoir in that sa situation, she would have to first Trace the Huge Power Ability."
"Then, she would have to land a Thunder Punch directly on a critical weak point."
"Only then would it be possible to one-shot a target with that much HP."
"That Chansey rolled the move Belly Drum, which cut its own health in half right before the impact."
Xue Tong spoke the words, though even she felt the theory sounded absolutely insane.
Does this Ralts genuinely have the Trace Ability?
Could you stop hiding it so deeply? Even I'm getting confused now.
The audience began visualizing Xue Tong's theory, realizing the combo technically could delete a Chansey.
But the problem was... landing a critical hit is pure luck.
And having a Ralts Trace and permanently retain the Huge Power Ability was not sothing a normal human could do!
Even Goddess Xue Tong only managed that feat during her Kirlia phase, didn't she?
If you're telling Lorze pulled it off while his Pokémon was still a baby Ralts...
Doesn't that make him even more of a monster than the human psychic Xue Tong?
Do you believe that?
I sure as hell don't.
But if you don't believe that, then how else did she one-shot the Chansey?
A normal Thunder Punch crit without Huge Power?
The damage numbers just don't add up.
Even at half health, Chansey still has more HP than most normal Pokémon. How could a Ralts's pathetic Physical Attack stat secure the kill?
Do you believe that?
I sure as hell don't.
Yue Qiao stared at her defeated Chansey for a long, long ti.
It wasn't until Lorze recalled Ralts and prepared to leave that she snapped out of it and chased after him.
The match was lost... the bet was off... but she at least had to get this handso guy's contact info!
