The Torchic Challenger Tournant concluded with Lorze's absolute victory. The final match had left the audience completely mind-fucked. The video of Ralts ignoring type-advantages and beating the shit out of Frogadier went viral in minutes, with "experts" everywhere trying to figure out the trick.

The result? Everyone remained a "Muggle." Not a single person got it right.

Lorze couldn't give them the answers because he was currently out cold, being carried in the arms of Goddess Xue Tong herself as she brought him to the dical wing.

Don't forget, Xue Tong was the nation's ultimate "Goddess." Being cradled by her made millions of n want to die of envy.

How the fuck did this tournant end with only Lorze getting all the benefits?!

He's suspected to be dating the mixed-race beauty Anna Lee, he got a public confession from the doctor-prodigy Yue Qiao, and now he's being hugged by Goddess Xue Tong while unconscious?!

God damn it! We all entered the sa tournant, why are you the only one living a harem protagonist life?!

It's so frustrating. Can we all just collective curse him to never wake up?

Unfortunately for the haters, even luck was on Lorze's side.

Once Lorze and Ralts reached the back, the Pokémon Doctors—who had been waiting for the "star" of the show—sward them, fighting over who got to heal the adorable Ralts first.

anwhile, Shi Fan sat in a corner holding his own fainted Frogadier. No one even looked at him. He actually shed a few bitter, lonely tears.

The saying is true: people only rember the winner. Nobody gives a shit about second place!

Can't one of you just help ?! Is my Frogadier's life not a life?!

With a small army of professionals working on her, Ralts's minor injuries and exhaustion from a rookie match were cured in minutes.

The one who was actually neglected was Lorze. Nobody expects a Trainer to faint during a rookie match, so they only had Pokémon Doctors on site, no human physicians.

Xue Tong had no choice but to bring Lorze into a private lounge. She sat on a sofa and rested his head on her lap—a literal "lap pillow" from a Goddess—while she called for an ambulance.

As a result, when Ralts finally woke up, she didn't see her Trainer. She couldn't even feel his ntal presence, which was currently running on empty. She was surrounded only by strangers.

The naturally timid Ralts was instantly terrified. Her face turned ghost-white.

She frantically looked around, searching for that familiar silhouette. But Lorze was nowhere to be seen.

Combined with the fact that she couldn't sense him telepathically, Ralts spiraled into a total panic. She thought she had been abandoned again. She was on the verge of crying her eyes out.

Fortunately, it didn't take long for her to locate Lorze in the adjacent lounge. Terrified and desperate, Ralts Teleported instantly to his side and clung to his body like a limpet.

She looked like a child who was terrified of being left alone, as if the nightmare of being a holess stray was coming back to haunt her.

She absolutely, definitely never wanted to go back to that. She didn't want to be alone ever again!

They had made a pinky-promise! They were going to be together forever! He wasn't allowed to break the contract!

Unknowingly, Lorze had already replaced her mother as her ultimate emotional anchor. She could no longer survive the cost of losing him.

After all, a Pokémon like Ralts rarely chooses a human, but once they do... as long as you don't shatter their heart, they are loyal until the day they die.

If her Trainer got hurt, she would only bla herself for not protecting him well enough. She would even follow him into death.

"Ralt!"

Ralts's tiny body was trembling. She pressed her face against Lorze's, refusing to move even an inch. Only by seeing him could she feel any semblance of peace.

She tried desperately to reach into Lorze's mind, attempting to restart their Telepathic Resonance Mode—the link that allowed them to feel each other regardless of distance. She wanted to pump her own ntal energy into him.

Perhaps her feelings reached him, because Lorze's empty ntal ocean finally gave a ripple of response. Their link was re-established.

Ralts was overjoyed. She imdiately began channeling her ntal energy into Lorze's drained brain. Her efforts paid off; under Ralts's "nourishnt," Lorze's exhausted brain finally began to recover. He painfully and slowly opened his eyes.

"Ralts...?" Lorze's head was still throbbing violently, and his mind felt heavy with a thick fog of sleepiness.

But he could feel Ralts's frantic, desperate calling, so he forced himself to wake up.

"Ralt!" Seeing him open his eyes, Ralts began to cry again, pressing her face against his cheek.

Her tears dripped onto Lorze's face. Through their ntal link, Lorze could feel the raw fear and worry overflowing from her heart.

"I see. I'm so sorry I made you worry," Lorze whispered. Feeling her intense attachnt, he pulled her into a tight hug, using their intertwined spirit to pacify her traumatized emotions.

For a mont, their spirits were so deeply rged that it beca impossible to tell where one ended and the other began.

Fortunately, the Telepathic Resonance Mode allowed Ralts to calm down quickly, though she still refused to let go of him for even a second.

Lorze continued to stroke her tiny head while he took in his surroundings.

This should be the competitor's lounge, right?

Then... what are these two massive spheres in front of ...?

Wait... those are D-cups. He just didn't know whose they were. From this angle, his face was practically buried in them, and he couldn't see the woman's face.

Actually, he figured it out a second later. He spotted an elegantly dressed Shiny Gardevoir standing nearby. That was all the proof he needed.

"Goddess Xue Tong?" Lorze asked, his voice curious.

"Just call by my na," Xue Tong replied casually, though she was deeply shaken by what she had just witnessed.

She wasn't deaf; she had heard Ralts's heartbreaking sobs clearly.

Ralts was a Pokémon that lived for emotions. To make one cry like that proved just how vital Lorze was to her.

As soone whose own Starter was a Ralts, Xue Tong couldn't help but feel a surge of genuine affection for the boy.

"Auntie Xue, then?" Lorze felt like calling her by her first na was a bit rude, so he went with the "Auntie" title he used for Roxanne.

"Whatever works. But honestly... you really should be calling big sister," Xue Tong said suddenly.

"Uh... why? Are we secret half-siblings or sothing?" Lorze looked at her with a bizarre expression.

"To be precise... your Ralts should be calling my Gardevoir her 'big sister'."

"Now I'm even more fucking confused."

Lorze was genuinely baffled. Does this Goddess have so kind of weird sibling-play fetish? Does she want everyone she ets to call her 'Onee-san'?

I an, I don't mind having a capable 'Onee-san,' especially if she's "capable" in bed~.

"What I an is, my Gardevoir is very likely your Ralts's actual biological sister. Their ntal signatures have the exact sa 'flavor'," Xue Tong explained.

Truth be told, Xue Tong was just as surprised. She had sensed a familiar scent in the "Psychic Black Hole" Ralts had unleashed earlier. If her Gardevoir hadn't pointed out that the Ralts was likely her younger sister, Xue Tong might have missed the connection entirely.

The Gardevoir line is unique; they have their own specific way of identifying kin, relying on a ntal scent that is carved into their souls from the sa mother.

The ntal signature coming off this Ralts was almost identical to the mother of Xue Tong's Gardevoir. That's why her Pokémon was convinced this was her baby sister.

"That's actually possible?" Lorze was stunned. You can recognize family through brain waves?

"Did your Ralts co from a specific lake region? Did she originally live in a hollowed-out tree trunk?" Xue Tong asked. If the location matched, it was a lock.

"Uh... actually, yeah. That's exactly right." Lorze began to believe it. Ralts had told him she used to live in a tree hollow with her mother.

Is this really Ralts's sister?

"Ralt? (Sister?)" Hearing the word, Ralts looked up curiously, staring at the Gardevoir with uncertainty.

She reached out with a thread of her ntal energy, connecting to Gardevoir's mind. Sure enough, she felt a scent that was heartbreakingly similar to her mother's.

"Ralt! (Sister!)"

Ralts was overco with joy. The familiar ntal vibration made her think for a split second that her mother had finally co for her. Overwheld with emotion, she Teleported straight into Gardevoir's arms. She loved this scent; it slled like ho.

"Gardevoir. (Little sister.)" Gardevoir gently embraced the tiny Ralts. Finding a long-lost sister in a place like this was a massive shock, but she was genuinely happy to find her family.

But this little sister looked so young... she looked like she hadn't even been weaned yet. Why was she out in the world fighting matches so early? Where was their mother?

Gardevoir imdiately began questioning her sister. When she learned the truth—that their ho had been burned to the ground by Pokémon Hunters and their mother was missing—a terrifying wave of rage erupted from her.

The residual ntal pressure from that anger alone almost knocked Ralts over. Lorze was left wondering just how god-tier the combat power of this Gardevoir actually was.

He didn't know. All he knew was that Gardevoir had now turned her sharp, cold gaze onto him. She was evaluating whether this human boy was truly worthy of being entrusted with her baby sister's life.

She originally intended to forcibly read Lorze's mind to see his true nature.

But after careful consideration, she stopped.

Regardless of who this boy was, the way Ralts had just sobbed in his arms was still vivid in her mind. That was all the proof she needed of their bond.

Since this was the person her sister had chosen to protect, she would temporarily hold off on her judgnt and observe him for now.
