She was far too high-level to be a simple guard for a mining team.
"You're too weak right now; I shouldn't tell you everything. Just know that Pokémon aren't the only things coming through from the other side. There are things called Ultra Wormholes."
"If you ever see a glowing, distorted rift in space, run the other way. If you fall in, you're never coming back." Xue Tong warned him sternly.
She knew her brother's curiosity was dangerous—the kid literally ate unknown Berries just to see what they did. If he saw a Wormhole, he'd probably jump in to "research" it.
Currently, the Wormholes were a total mystery. Most professional Trainers sent to investigate never returned. The lucky few who did were either amnesiac or in a permanent coma.
Because of her human psychic powers, she was one of the few who could resist the "Ultra Aura" for a short ti.
As the only person capable of safely entering and exiting, the entire world was waiting for her data. She couldn't stay to pamper Lorze anymore.
"Ultra Wormholes?" Lorze's eyes narrowed.
As a Pokémon player, he knew that term.
They were unstable gateways to Ultra Space, usually linked to the activity of Ultra Beasts.
And Ultra Beasts were lethal, alien predators. Their Ability, Beast Boost, was terrifying—they grew stronger with every kill. They were biologically designed for slaughter.
Is Big Sis really fighting things that dangerous?
"Anyway, since Ralts has mastered Copycat, let's use the remaining ti to have her copy Gardevoir's library. Aside from Calm Mind and Skill Swap, what else do you want her to learn?"
Xue Tong dropped the Wormhole topic. It was too heavy for a rookie.
