Daratrine’s expression darkened, her silver eyes glinting with a mixture of reverence and unease. "The Archaic Citadel is no ordinary place, Jaegar. It was said to be a nexus of the Chaos God’s power, a temple built not by mortal hands but by the very essence of chaos itself. It’s a mythical place like an entity moving and shifting as ti passes.

The last ti they found this place, the chaos entity had been unleashed on the world, and the aftermath was chaos itself. The world was on the verge of collapse, and it took a lot of strong beings and their power to defeat the phantom.

The Elder Elves, in their wisdom, sealed it away, erasing its mory from the world to prevent its misuse. But the Bande de Serpents... They are relentless. If they’ve uncovered even a fragnt of its location, it ans they’ve been digging into forbidden knowledge—knowledge that should have been lost forever."

Jaegar’s frustration simred beneath the surface. "So, let get this straight. There’s a temple that no one rembers, built by a god of chaos, and it’s sohow tied to because of this Chaos God’s power inside ? And now a shadowy organization wants to use to bring back this god by finding this temple? Is that about right?"

Felaern nodded solemnly. "In essence, yes. But it’s more complicated than that. The Archaic Citadel isn’t just a physical place; it’s a concept, a convergence of chaotic energy.

To find it, one would need to navigate the threads of reality itself, sothing only the most powerful and deranged would attempt. The fact that the Bande de Serpents is even close to locating it suggests they have access to resources—or allies—we cannot yet comprehend."

Daratrine stepped forward, her voice low and urgent. "Which is why we must act quickly. If they succeed in resurrecting the Chaos God, the balance of the world will be shattered. We must let them get their hands on you."

Jaegar clenched his fists, his mind racing. "All right, I understand what you are saying, but we have to find Grandmother. I can’t rest until I see her."

Felaern’s voice was steady, his tone carrying a reassuring weight as he placed a hand on Jaegar’s shoulder. "We will find her, Jaegar. I promise you that. But first, you need to get stronger. The path ahead is fraught with danger, and you cannot face it as you are now."

Daratrine stepped forward, her silver eyes locking onto Jaegar’s with an intensity that made him feel both exposed and understood. "You do know that we are also your blood, don’t you? Angelina is not just your grandmother—she is our kin, just as you are. We would never let anything happen to her. But to protect her, to protect yourself, you must awaken the power within you. Your bloodline is a gift, Jaegar, one that has lain dormant for too long. If you awaken it, it will give you the strength you need to stand against the Bande de Serpents."

Jaegar sighed, running a hand through his hair as he processed their words. He knew they were right. If he let his worry for Angelina consu him, it wouldn’t bring her back.

He thought back to his last encounter with W’ithas of the Bande de Serpents. The man’s presence alone had been suffocating, his power radiating like a storm waiting to break. Jaegar had barely held his ground then, and he knew that if he wanted to stand a chance against W’ithas or other mbers, he had no choice but to grow stronger.

"Alright," Jaegar said finally, his voice firm despite the turmoil in his chest. "I’ll do it. But tell what I need to do."

Daratrine’s lips curved into a faint smile, a glimr of approval in her eyes. "Good. Follow us."

The two elves led Jaegar deeper into the heart of the tree, a place that seed to pulse with ancient magic. The air grew cooler, the light dimr, as they moved through winding corridors adorned with intricate carvings and glowing runes.

Jaegar could feel the weight of countless eyes on him as they passed groups of elves, their gazes curious, wary, and sotis even hostile. But walking beside Daratrine, the queen of the Elves, seed to shield him from their scrutiny. Her presence commanded respect, and the elves parted ways without a word, their whispers fading into the background.

At last, they reached a secluded chamber, its entrance hidden behind a curtain of cascading vines. Daratrine pushed the vines aside, revealing a dark, cavernous room illuminated by the soft glow of bioluminescent plants that clung to the walls.

In the centre of the chamber stood a strange, otherworldly structure—a transparent pod made entirely of leaves and vines, woven together with such precision that it seed almost alive. The pod was about eight feet tall and wide enough to comfortably accommodate a person. It pulsed faintly, as if in rhythm with the heartbeat of the earth itself.

Felaern gestured toward the pod, his voice filled with quiet pride. "My sister prepared this especially for you. She had a feeling you might require it after the last ti she t you. This is the Verdant Chamber, a relic of the Elder Elves. It is designed to help you connect with your bloodline, to awaken the power that lies dormant within you."

Jaegar stared at the pod, his mind racing. He had never seen anything like it before. The leaves shimred with a faint, golden light, and the vines seed to shift and writhe ever so slightly, as if responding to his presence. He felt a strange pull, a sense of familiarity that he couldn’t quite place.

"I don’t know what to say," Jaegar admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

Daratrine stepped forward, her expression softening. "You don’t need to say anything, Jaegar. Just go inside the pod. I will guide you through the process."

Jaegar nodded, his resolve hardening. He got introduced to two more people who he would call his family.

He stepped closer to the pod, the air around it humming with energy. As he approached, the vines seed to part on their own, creating an opening just large enough for him to step inside. He hesitated for a mont, then took a deep breath and entered the pod.
