Jaegar stood there, fists clenched, as he felt the remnants of chaotic energy coursing through his veins. The purple haze that had erupted around him monts ago now settled within, simring beneath his skin like a dormant storm. His breath was unsteady, his mind reeling from the sudden surge of power. His body no longer felt the sa—it was stronger, more attuned to the energy that had just awakened inside him.

His gaze drifted towards Angelina, who stood frozen at the foot of the chamber, her eyes wide, reflecting a mix of awe and deep concern.

Without hesitation, Jaegar took slow, deliberate steps toward her.

Each footfall felt heavier, as though the very ground beneath him recognized his transformation. When he finally reached her, he wrapped his arms around her tightly, leaning his head onto her shoulder.

"Grandma…" His voice was quiet, almost fragile compared to the imnse power he had just unleashed.

Angelina's arms hesitated for a brief second before she returned the embrace, patting his back gently. She had known all along what Jaegar was capable of, but witnessing it with her own eyes—feeling the raw energy radiating off of him—was overwhelming.

Daratrine and Felaern stood behind them, silent and unmoving, their expressions a mixture of shock and contemplation. The air still crackled faintly with residual energy, and the very chamber they stood in bore the scars of Jaegar's awakening.

The walls had deep fissures, the once-verdant plants that adorned the room were singed, and even the enchanted lights flickered as if struggling to maintain stability in the presence of such imnse power.

Felaern finally broke the silence, his voice carefully asured. "He… just crossed the threshold from an apprentice to master wizard… in re monts."

Daratrine exhaled slowly, her fingers tightening into a fist as she watched Jaegar. "His power is imnse, more than anyone we encountered till now. The resonance of his magic is different—it's refined, controlled, yet still brimming with raw, unshaped potential."

"And his chaos aura, it is sothing I haven't heard of, completely off. Even his mother wasn't capable of emitting such raw power."

Felaern nodded grimly. "This is exactly why the Bande de Serpents want him. He isn't just another Chaos Holder. He is a vessel unlike any other. A child born of both the Elder Blood and the Chaos God's lineage. To them, he is perfection."

Jaegar, still holding onto Angelina, furrowed his brows as he listened. He pulled back slightly and looked into her eyes. "I don't care about what they want," he said firmly.

"They dared to lay a hand on you, and they…have my mother. It's ti we bring her back."

Jaegar ntioning his mother startled Daratrine and Felaern. The weight of the revelation settled over them like a thick fog.

Felaern turned to Jaegar, his gaze sharp and searching.

"Jaegar," he said cautiously, "do you know where your mother is?"

Jaegar clenched his fists. "I don't know," he admitted, frustration evident in his voice. "But I am sure that man knows."

Daratrine and Felaern exchanged glances.

"That man?" Felaern echoed.

"Angus," Jaegar said, his voice firm and unwavering.

Angelina, who had been listening intently, finally spoke. "It was the very reason I let them catch ."

Jaegar's eyes widened in disbelief. "What?! You an you let them take you?" he demanded, his voice tinged with anger and confusion.

Angelina nodded solemnly. "Yes, I wanted to know what their plans were, and more importantly, I needed to confirm my suspicions about Angus."

Jaegar's face changed, a shadow passing over his expression as his mind raced. "What are you saying? He is with them?"

Angelina let out a deep sigh, her gaze heavy with regret. "Jaegar, he is the one leading them. He is the reason that whole group remains together. The Bande de Serpents would have fallen apart long ago without him. He is more than just involved—he is their anchor. I tried very hard, but I couldn't find your mother's location. Angus… that bastard… seed to have taken her to another plane."

Felaern, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke, his voice laced with concern. "If he is leading such a band of extraordinary beings, then he is no simple man. And if he has hidden her in another Loka, then retrieving her will be no easy task."

Daratrine nodded, her mind already piecing together the implications. "It is not impossible for us to travel to other Lokas, but very few are capable. If Angus has truly moved her to another plane, then he must have imnse power at his disposal."

Jaegar took a deep breath, his thoughts racing. His mother had been taken beyond their reach, hidden away in a place he could not yet access. A sense of helplessness gnawed at him, but he buried it deep. Now was not the ti to dwell on that.

"At that ti, I tried to sense her chaos power," Daratrine continued, "but I couldn't find it anywhere in our Loka. I had made the assumption that this was the case, but now, with what you've told us, it is confird. She is sowhere beyond our imdiate reach."

Angelina's voice was firm as she said, "They are already extracting the chaos from the children. We must secure the ones who remain. Keep them together, before they fall into the wrong hands."

Felaern turned to Angelina. "You don't know the location of the Archaic Citadel?"

Angelina shook her head. "As you know, it's like a living entity. Before I escaped, it was in the Gravarane Forest, but I'm sure it has changed locations by now."

Daratrine exhaled sharply. "We could try and see if it's still there. We have already wasted too much ti."

Felaern then said, "Angelina is in no position to move again. She just recovered, she needs ti."

Angelina waved, "I'm fine. I can stay back and guide you."

Felaern and Daratrine exchanged glances as they nodded.

"All right, don't strain yourselves too much.

All four stood up and Daratrine waved her hand and a portal ca alive, swirling with a blue-colored arcane energy.

Then they entered the portal before the portal closed again.
