Yuuto narrowed his eyes a bit, the tension in the room coiling tighter.

Alister’s gaze drifted toward the large projection in the center of the room—currently dark, reflecting nothing but the gravity of his words.

"They are beings who possess powers—laws—that govern existence itself," he said slowly, his voice calm, yet each word weighed heavily. "These aren’t abilities like ours... Talents we awaken due to being infused by magical power. They are absolutes. Their power functions the sa way gravity pulls a planet toward its sun. The sa law that keeps this world from drifting into oblivion."

He turned back toward the group, his golden eyes gleaming.

"A Celestial Title grants dominion. Authority over a concept. Ti. Space. Death. Life. Emotion. Even sothing as intangible as hope or despair. And with it... cos influence. Reality bends to accommodate them."

Silence t his words, but he wasn’t finished.

"And one of these beings has taken an interest in this planet..."

He paused briefly—then added, with a slight edge to his tone:

"And —the Lord of Dragons."

That statent lingered like a crack of thunder in a quiet room.

Ren blinked, then furrowed his brow. "What exactly is that supposed to an?"

He leaned forward, suspicion in his voice. "Why you? Why should you be an object of interest to sothing that possesses godlike power?"

Alister closed his eyes for a mont, as if steadying himself, then opened them with a calm that barely veiled the storm beneath.

"Because I am a descendant of one such being. And apparently, that being who wishes to invade has made it his eternal mission to eradicate my people and everything we hold dear. Does that answer your question?"

A heavy silence followed.

Ren slowly spoke, his voice quieter now, but still skeptical. "So... are you insinuating—"

"Yes. I’m not human," Alister interrupted, his tone flat, final.

A beat passed.

Hiroshi blinked, visibly startled. "Wait... since when did you find that out?"

Alister gave a small, dry chuckle. "For a while now. Not that it matters—not with what’s coming."

Ren leaned forward, fingers steepled. "Then tell this—because you still haven’t clarified it. Why? Why go through all this effort to save the people of a species you don’t even belong to? What’s the real reason you’re doing this?"

The room fell into expectant silence, all eyes now locked on Alister.

Waiting for the truth.

Alister narrowed his eyes slightly, a hint of tiredness laced in his tone.

"Now, that may be sothing I can’t go into the specifics of," he said. "But for the sake of understanding... let’s just say looking good in the public eye helps ensure no damage is done to the authority I hold—and to the powers of my dragons, which will ensure I guarantee humanity’s safety."

Ren tilted his head slightly. "So it’s tied to this Celestial Title thing, then?"

Alister offered a small, enigmatic smile. "Quite possibly. Who knows?"

Ren adjusted his glasses, the glint catching the light. "I see."

Alister nodded slightly.

"Good. Now that you understand, Team Leader Ren," he said, eyes locked onto him, "I hope you won’t interrupt again."

Ren gave a small nod. "No. Carry on."

Alister’s smile widened, just a touch. "Excellent."

He turned his attention to the far end of the room.

"Now, onto how I plan to save all humans across the ten gacities."

His voice echoed with quiet authority as he lifted a hand, gesturing.

"Terra, would you mind standing and enlightening our human companions?"

A faint rumble accompanied the graceful movent of Terra rising from her seat.

She adjusted her glasses with one finger and began speaking.

"As Lord Alister said, the current state of your ten gacities is... fragile at best. Scattered, inefficient, and susceptible to collapse—either through invasion, internal rot, or a dinsional anomaly. Our solution is simple in concept but monuntal in execution."

She turned to each of them, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"Through draconic spatial shift spells and leyline convergence markers, we will initiate synchronized mass teleportation—relocating the entirety of each gacity’s infrastructure, population, and subspace anchors. These cities will be pulled together... and fused into a single centralized superstructure."

Razorgrin’s eyes widened. "Wait—fuse the cities? You’re going to rge them?"

Terra nodded once.

"They will orbit around and integrate with the capital of dragonkind—Draconis Arx—a city Lord Alister already holds dominion over."

Alister stepped forward, his tone steady and commanding.

"This new structure will form a continent-wide gapolis fortified under my rule. All human territory, defenses, and governance will fall under one jurisdiction—mine. There will be no debate, no border wars, no fragnted chains of command. One law. One wall. One last bastion."

Ren adjusted his glasses thoughtfully. "It sounds like a good idea. But not all cities will agree. You’re well known here, but that won’t be the case elsewhere. Most people didn’t even know the Union President had a son. So didn’t care. So probably celebrated his death... since they don’t have to answer to him anymore."

He continued, tone even but sharp, "And now, you and your sister suddenly show up claiming to be his children—saying you’ll inherit the Union’s command? Even with irrefutable biological proof, a lot of them won’t accept that. They’ll resist. Humans... don’t all follow logic, or lineage."

Alister’s expression darkened slightly, his voice low and cold.

"Then I’ll make them bow. Simple."

Ren frowned. "...That’s a dictatorship."

Alister t his gaze without flinching. "No. That’s salvation. You can’t reason with flas when they’re burning down a house—you extinguish them. I’m not looking for agreent; I’m enforcing survival."

Silence fell.

Even Hiroshi, who had remained quiet for most of the briefing, looked uneasy.

Cinder smirked slightly, folding her arms in satisfaction behind Alister. Terra simply closed her eyes and gave a slow nod, as if the outco had already been determined.

Alister exhaled slowly, voice cool and commanding.

"This is the plan. You can oppose it. But understand this—when the descent cos, only one city will be standing. And it will be mine."
