Anya continued, her voice rising with each word as she walked toward him, her mama blooming around her like wildfire.

Standing directly in front of him, she gave him a pointed look.

"I’m not so passenger princess you can tuck away while the real battle happens outside! I’m not a porcelain doll in a locked room—and I sure as hell am not a weakling!"

She pointed toward the fractured screens still showing the carnage outside—the Inverted Castle looming above the city.

"If we’re being invaded by... by Alie—" she caught herself mid-word, suddenly coughed ti correct herself, expression twisting in frustration, "—I an, monsters, then I’ll be out there fighting."

From the side, Klaus, slightly overwheld, blinked and muttered under his breath.

"Guildmaster... were you just about to say aliens just now—?"

Anya’s head whipped toward him, her eyes twitching.

"Another word out of you, and my fist will be finding its way to your face."

Klaus fell instantly silent, lips pressed tight.

Behind him, one of the other mbers of the Berserkers chuckled, "Classic Guildmaster," under their breath.

Alister exhaled slowly—not from exasperation, but sothing dangerously close to relief. Her spirit, wild and unbreakable, remained untouched even in the presence of a despair-inducing fortress.

He t her gaze again.

"Then fight well. And don’t die."

Alister seed to flicker—just for a breath.

A distortion in space.

A ripple in reality.

And then—

BOOM.

A deafening shockwave split the air.

The ground ruptured beneath where he stood. Marble shattered. Dust exploded outward in a choking blast, forcing everyone in the Grandhall to raise their arms, cloaks, or mana shields to block the sudden storm of debris.

When the dust finally cleared...

There was a crater.

Deep. Wide. Smoking.

And Alister was gone.

Not a trace of him remained—no footprints, no lingering heat, no shadow. Just the jagged imprint of impact and the thunder still echoing in the bones of those who had witnessed it.

So stared in silence.

Others swallowed back awe, or fear.

Even the proudest Guildmasters exchanged glances.

A long, stunned silence gripped the hall.

Then ca the whispers—fractured, disbelieving, like glass cracking under pressure.

"Did he... teleport?"

"No... he moved... He definitely just moved!"

"Ho-how can anyone... Anything... move like that? That was like—"

"He vanished... like the world blinked and forgot he existed."

"I didn’t feel a single mana fluctuation to indicate he was enhancing his body... aning that was pure physical strength—how is that even possible!?"

A guild mber near the back dropped his staff with a tallic clatter.

Another fell to his knees, trembling.

"He’s really a monster..."

"W-we challenged that? He moved faster than we could even fathom!"

"He’s not a man... he’s not even a monster. That’s sothing else entirely."

"We were ready to execute him—gods forgive us..."

One woman gripped her suit so tightly her knuckles went white.

A younger reporter began hyperventilating, collapsing to the floor with wide eyes.

"We’re all going to die... He wasn’t bluffing. He ant every word..."

The atmosphere shifted. Eyes—panicked, ashad, horrified—began to turn.

All toward one man.

The Union Director.

Pale. Trembling. Frozen, gritting his teeth in anger.

Sweat rolled down his temple as he opened his mouth to speak—

But he never got the chance.

FWOOOM.

A thunderclap tore the air as Draven blurred from across the hall like a bolt of violet lightning.

Before the Director could speak, Draven was already there.

His clawed gauntlet seized the man by the collar mid-breath.

Gasps broke out.

And then—

CRACK.

Draven flung the Union Director upward like discarded trash, shockwave trailing the body as it was hurled through the shattered ceiling with enough force to make the building shudder.

Draven’s wings unfurled in the sa motion, and in a blur of motion and crackling energy—

He shot into the sky after him, leaving only swirling wind and silence behind.

No one dared move.

No one dared speak.

In the distance, far from the shattered Grandhall, Kai’s body tore through the air like a cot, smashing through the walls of several burning buildings. Each impact sent fire and debris cascading outward as he ricocheted violently across the cityscape.

Finally, after splintering through the cracked façade of a half-collapsed tower, Kai’s heels dug deep into the concrete streets, carving twin trenches as sparks flared beneath his boots.

His montum slowed.

Smoke curled off his body.

And then—he stopped.

Kai straightened slowly, brushing dust from his shoulder, a thin smile spreading across his face.

"Yes..." he murmured, voice dripping with excitent.

"There it is."

And then—

BOOOOOOM!

A deafening sonic boom cracked the air like the sky itself had been split apart.

In the blink of an eye, Alister appeared above him—a golden blur wreathed in divine flas, his presence heavier than the atmosphere itself.

His arm was raised high, a massive construct of golden-yellow mana forming around it, a titanic armored fist that radiated molten power, runes flickering like fragnts of a living sun.

And he swung it downward.

The sheer force of the strike caused the streets to crater even before impact, winds howling outward in violent shockwaves.

Kai didn’t flinch.

Instead, his smile widened—unnervingly so—as red mana erupted from his body, boiling upward like blood turned to steam. The ground beneath him cracked as if recoiling from his presence.

The golden fist ca down like the wrath of a god.

CRAAAAASH!

The impact ripped through the street, collapsing entire buildings in a shockwave of molten light and shattered concrete. Flas roared outward as a crater blood beneath Kai’s feet.

Civilians scread as they ran for their lives.

But through the smoke—

CLANG!

Kai caught the colossal golden fist, feet buried deep into the ground as red mana flared violently around him. His grin widened.

"Look at you," Kai sneered. "Summon a few dragons, and now you think you’re a god? Do you honestly think this makes you so supre ruler?"

A surge of red mana exploded from him in a violent burst, hurling Alister backward mid-air.

Alister twisted mid-flight, golden wings snapping open. He halted his montum instantly, his eyes glowing brighter as golden flas spiraled down his arms.

Kai began to walk forward. As he did, a red portal opened beside him, and a massive black hand covered in ashen bandages with red inscriptions erged.

He smirked, eyes glinting with cruel amusent.

"What’s next? Going to make them kneel? Build yourself a nice little empire of worshippers who pretend you’re divine? Pathetic. But then again—what else could I expect from a lowborn summoner? Trash like you always craves the feeling of being high and mighty."
