The first question that ca into Roman’s head was...

"Is the Godzilla dead?"

The kind of energy that had hit the Four-headed Iron Godzilla was sothing that Roman would never be able to explain.

He was still awed as he stared at her.

"Did you do that?" Roman just had to ask.

And Rena nodded.

He quickly ran towards the point where he had heard a thudding sound, which was undoubtedly where the Godzilla had landed.

He had to walk several steps before he reached there, evidence of the insane impact.

The Four-headed Iron Godzilla was lying on about seven crashed trees, one of its eyes already out and, most significantly, one of its arms.

But the part that had terrified Roman the most was that the impact of whatever attack had hit it had opened its chest region, and it was bleeding black blood like crazy.

RRRR...

The monster was lucky to have been able to let out a roar, but it was truly one that ca out of defeat and... shock.

[Life: 1%.]

’That was a disastrous attack.’

Even Roman himself was insanely stunned, because he didn’t believe how an F ranker would have such power.

It was insane!

After rembering that he really had to be the one to take the final strike, he decapitated the remaining heads, and the monster finally died.

[You have killed a Level 98 Epic Monster, Four-headed Iron Godzilla. Due to a joint fight from two other allies, your EXP would be distributed based on your various efforts.]

[You have received 20000 EXP.]

[Do you wish to collect the Soul of the Four-headed Iron Godzilla?]

"Yes."

He imdiately collected the soul of the monster, as it was the most important thing at that point, and then let out a relieved smile.

[You have leveled up! Level 12 » Level 13.]

[You have leveled up! Level 13 » Level 14.]

[You have leveled up! Level 14 » Level 15.]

Three level-ups at the very sa ti, and Roman couldn’t be more chuffed. It was a milestone he had been wanting to reach, even though it was still a long way to rank up. It was always certain that he would reach there, and there was nothing that would stop him.

After reaching Level 15, he had been able to expand the slot of the Soul Bank to 10, which was a massive increase.

However...

[Soul Slot has been increased to 10. Expand next at Level 50.]

It was a long threshold, and Roman didn’t know why he would keep collecting several monster souls even though he knew he wouldn’t need so.

So he agreed that it was okay not to collect any more than four souls until he finally beca an E ranker.

Unlike the monsters, the threshold for ranking up was at Level 50. Monsters tend to reach Level 100 before they rank up, and sotis it was said that that’s why monsters with the sa asurable rank as an Entrant can be too powerful for that Entrant.

At that point, Roman was beginning to believe it, as he already realised that it hadn’t seed easy for North to kill the Godzilla.

It hadn’t taken long before Rena and North rushed to the scene, realising that the Godzilla was already dead.

They didn’t need to ask him who killed it because the BSP might have inford them since they might have taken their portions of the EXP distribution.

North turned to Rena, who was just staring blankly with an amazed look.

"Was that your Talent?" she asked.

"Yes... Sohow, it happened to beco very useful to ," Rena said without looking at North.

"It’s incredible. Having an offensive Talent is sothing that every Entrant always wanted," North gave a slight smile.

"You never told , though. You lied to about your Talent," Roman said as he glared at her.

And Rena didn’t react with guilt, surprisingly, as she walked up to him and fixed a look right at his face.

"Sa way you lied about yours..."

"Invisibility, huh? Now tell how Invincibility can allow you to obtain monsters that you have killed. The Goblin King, the Blade Ant Queen, the Dire Wolf Alpha. I knew when you killed all of them, and sohow they happened to be alive, coming out of the sa caravan you were in at Strength City?"

At that point, Roman figured that she had heard about what happened the night the caravan landed in the city. It was news he believed had spread all over the Center, so it was no big surprise for him anyway.

And he knew Rena was the only person who could understand what happened that day.

"Yeah, that’s right. But we lied to each other. It’s no biggie," Roman muttered.

"You lied first. And you should be ready to explain how you made yourself invisible before killing the Goblin King, because there’s no way one can have two Talents, right?" Rena turned to North.

"Right."

North was only watching as they both spoke, figuring that they’d both been keeping things from each other, which was to be expected from youngsters who knew little about the Badlands and wanted to stay secure.

But then, the battle wasn’t over just when she thought it was.

"Then you would have to explain why you lied about your family. About your background. I never knew that your father was the crazy Steel Emperor of the Steel Empire. If I had known, I would have just stayed away from you instead of having to get myself into trouble."

Rena turned to him, her eyes popping out, red.

"And when you got into trouble... I went in search of you, passing every tough obstacle that was over my class. I had to get through bandits and lie my way into places. I did that all just to get to you. I was going to go against my father just to get you back!

"And you think that’s a joke? Huh? Do you?"

It already seed like she was getting emotional having to speak further, and Roman just figured that he had to tone it down.

North had already signaled him not to speak, not like he wanted to anymore, by the way.

He just shook his head and walked away, while Rena and North remained at the scene.

And in a few minutes, North persuaded Rena into joining her as they walked out of that spot and headed back.

At that ti, it was officially the end of their hunting with North.

’Was waiting for him to do it, but he didn’t. How long would it take before he discovers it?’ North said inwardly as they walked out, shaking her head.

The question was... what was it?
