(The Camp, Sowhere East of the Center.)

Arnold was sitting on a stone platform as he stared at the sky. He had the kind of look that said he was completely famished and didn’t know what next to do as a human.

However, it hadn’t taken long before two figures approached him. They both had a bow and a quiver and didn’t seem to show up with a friendly approach, as usual.

"Hey, shit. Heads up... Ti to keep moving," one of them said.

Arnold happened to remain silent, more like he hadn’t heard what they said at all, and it was when one of them gave him a smack on the head that he suddenly jolted up, his eyes gleaming in alertness as he stood up at once, turning to them.

When he recognised their faces, he imdiately nodded his head, bowed, and walked straight away.

Those were the n in charge of him, or more appropriately, they were the ones in charge of disciplining him until he finally mastered the culture of the Wanderers.

Just days ago, he got his manhood cut off, a pure culture of the Wanderers that signified focus and the elimination of lust in their group.

Arnold had initially taken it with rage and was about to turn the whole camp into chaos after waking up, but it didn’t take long before he got humbled by these n.

Not only had having his pens cut off broken him to the very limit, but so had the beating and torturing that he had received. They were able to make him consider death, but the truth was that Arnold was already considering death right from the mont he started looking for his dck and couldn’t find it.

However, the end point was that he couldn’t be granted that wish, and he was forced to serve with every bit of strength that he had.

Arnold went to grab his stuff, got ready, and later joined the gathering line.

Today, the Wanderers would leave their current base and move to another. This was how it always happened, with Arnold having long understood it.

They settle at a point for a while, get all valuables and hunt as they like, before the leader asks them to keep moving.

This is how the Wanderers roam across the entire Reach, with no restrictions on entering any region.

The Frontier, the Center, the Heartlands...

As far as they weren’t trespassing on people’s territories, there were no proper allegations to be made against them. Although it was true that they got people to join them and tortured them to transform their ntality to be like theirs, it was understood that anyone joining them must have accepted to do so in the first place, regardless of the fact that they might take advantage of crucial events to make you join.

For instance, the fact that Arnold needed help made him join them, and that was reportedly the sa way they’ve gotten so others to join them. Or... it could be another way, which was forcing them against their will.

However, that case was said to be almost rare, and no one had really stepped up to speak against it or attack Clawrer. He was a very feared man, and until the top figures in the Reach intervened, his ride would continue smoothly, uninterrupted.

"All right, everybody! Listen up!"

Clawrer called everyone to gather at the unit, and soon a crowd was already surrounding him. Arnold was amongst them, his face still giving that dull aura as he stared at the leader.

One wouldn’t know for sure what he had in mind, but Arnold was genuinely tired of thinking about what to do with his life.

Dying? He wanted to.

Revenge? He had that idea in mind before.

Escape? He had tried so hard.

At this point, he was just a confused, depressed, and tired man who was simply accepting his fate.

He would no longer get to go ho to see his family. He would no longer get that sweet chance of freedom. He would be held here till his death. After realising this, he regretted escaping Strength City. He realised that staying back could have been better.

He could have accepted being taken by the ssengers and let the Steel Emperor do what he wanted rather than be here with this group of lunatics and have his d*ck cut off.

However, now, he couldn’t keep regretting it and could only hope that he died anyti soon.

"I hope we get ambushed by Alpha Monsters on the way," Arnold prayed in a mutter.

He was ready to surrender himself to them if that actually happened.

...

At the other end, the leader was giving his speech before they began their journey.

"Now we head to the Frontier. We are going to head to the valley over there and settle there for as many weeks as possible. Hunt, gather a lot of valuables, and even if we are going to have to attack the feeble community at the edge, we’ll do so!"

Most of them cheered, while a few like Arnold were just staring still.

"It’s going to be a very long walk, so we have to get going now. Let’s roam, Wanderers!"

"YEAHHHHHHHH!"

It was clear that most of them were already convinced that being a lunatic was just fine. The way they now acted and played was evidence of that, even though they were clearly not treated right and, well... Clawrer had just made them believe that there was no way one could expect a good life in the Badlands.

However, the part that enraged Arnold the most was that Clawrer still had his d*ck intact and was having all the won in the group.

All in the na of being the leader, he hadn’t made the laws he had created applicable to himself as well, and even the oldest of the subordinates had failed to realise this.

They enjoyed his cruelty and did whatever they were ordered to do... with pleasure.

When Arnold heard that they would be heading towards the valley in the Frontier, he knew it would be sowhere close to Blood Trial Outpost, if not Blood Trial Outpost itself.

What he could rember was that Roman might not be there, but Rena, Master Norman, and the Head, Sylvester Trench, would surely be there.

Although he still hoped that Roman had found a way to escape back to the outpost. If that had already happened, then he was convinced that the outpost would be ready to defend itself from the threat that was coming.

And he hoped that he would get the chance to kill the leader and his subordinates, each and every one of them, and make sure he started by cutting their d*cks off.

To sum it all up, his hopes were just high on Roman, whom he believed would be able to take on Clawrer.

Till today, Arnold hadn’t forgotten about those monsters that erged from nowhere inside the caravan.

"I WILL MAKE SURE EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO FAILS GETS SENT TO THE WILDERNESS TO DIE!"

In the golden chamber of the Steel Emperor, it was another day of raging out as usual.

Yet again today, another group had returned without his daughter, and all they had brought was information and news.

"We couldn’t find her, but we can predict where she is, Emperor. We ask for one last chance to go back out there, and we promise to bring her back. We won’t fail like the first Frontier crew. We promise," one of the kneeling n said, his voice filled with sincerity amidst the chaos.

Jonah was about to rage again, but his Hand, who was standing right at the corner, had to say sothing.

"The groups that were sent to that region hadn’t returned yet. None of them, and there hasn’t seed to be any information from them via the BSP as well. I believe sothing is wrong, or they are on the serious course of finding her. Perhaps they’ve discovered where she is, and what’s left is to bring her back," he said.

"So what are you telling to do right now? Tell these ones to wait?" Jonah asked with a face that looked so indifferent.

"No, Emperor. I ask you to send them to the Frontier. Urge them to report every bit of information, and as well find out what’s keeping the other group. The main mission shouldn’t be overlooked either... finding her," Maximus explained.

The Emperor nodded, as it seed to make sense, and then he was about to make his decision when a guard suddenly stepped in.

"Emperor, we have got word."

"What’s that?" Maximus asked.

"After several investigations, we discovered that there was an event that happened in Citadel City in the Frontier over a week ago. One of the groups found the Young Mistress and was about to bring her ho. She refused, so they had to do it as you had asked.

But a man suddenly stepped out and challenged the ssengers, fought to prevent them from getting away with her, and even distracted them and helped the Young Mistress escape. He is widely known around that region, and we also have a picture of him."

"What’s his na?" Jonah stepped forward as he asked.

"Roman Rings, Emperor. An F-ranker, who is also a mber of Blood Trial Outpost, where your daughter was after the Day of the Red Zenith," the guard explained.

"Roman Rings... An F-ranker from a ruined outpost at the edge of the valley..." Jonah muttered.

"Contact the Mayor of Citadel City. I need him captured. Dead or alive."
