She blinked, the na familiar. He had to be rather important, though, if he was familiar. Maybe they had t before; she would have to consult her diaries. For sure, she would have made a drawing of a man with silver hair.

"Well, my favorite little troublemaker made a request for to teach you, and in consideration of your clan's future cooperation, position, and talent, it was only sensible for to co in person." He said, smiling before his cold gaze turned to the two n. "I also hoped introducing our fellow caravan travelers would be more pleasant. Vice Master, if I am not misinford."

The people around them whispered amongst each other. For many, seeing an honorable spirit master alone was an event; seeing two obviously high-ranked spirit masters, one of them even addressed as Vice Master to a Clan respected by seven treasured glasses, was an event that happened only once in a lifeti if one was lucky.

Eyes ripped open, they were jumping left and right between the young girl who seed to be a young spirit master of considerable background and the white-haired man whose identity as a mber of Seven Treasured Glass Pagodas was, even if they didn't know how influential, definitely not to be underestimated by how the others behaved.

Tang Yin's age especially roused attention as whispers and murmurs spread through the curious onlookers.

"We are terribly sorry." The two n bowed to him and then to Tang Yin.

"Miss Tang."

"Vice Master Tang." Chen Xin corrected them in a stern tone. "Miss Tang is the Vice Master of Tang Sect, aning, like , an elder of her people whom you will address accordingly during our travels with her."

"Vice Master Tang." The two corrected themselves imdiately.

Tang Yin looked upwards at Chen Xin. "Thank you for your assistance."

"I do not believe it was necessary; your spirit power exceeds theirs, but I did not want to start this journey with two of my fellow clan mbers injured. My little Rong has written an extensive letter, she also said that you are a good friend of hers. A friend of my Rong Rong is also a friend of Mine so feel free to call Uncle Jian."

Tang Yin shrugged her shoulders. "Then you are free to call Tang Yin or Yin." She said, walking out next to him. "I assu she also inford you of my wish to learn swordsmanship?"

"Yes, she did. I have arranged for a teacher to accompany us. I am a sword spirit master, aning that much of my knowledge and skill depend on my spirit. A traditional sword master is far more beneficial for your studies as your spirit is a plant spirit for the beginning. Once the basics are covered, I will be teaching you directly." He inford her, and she nodded as she continued to finish her croissant, then his tone changed. "I also want to tell you that I will not take you as a disciple; I will not teach you the secrets of my swordsmanship. I will rely be putting you on a starting point."

"I understand that perfectly fine. I do not mind Uncle Jian. I never expected you to. All I wanted was to finally find soone to teach properly." She smiled at him, finishing her croissant, and then walked silently to him until they arrived at the caravan. It was small, and there were only a handful of unfamiliar people. For a mont, she felt intimidated by it. Still, she swallowed the intimidation and deeply breathed when a familiar face appeared.

A tall, lanky woman with honey-brown hair, amber eyes, and sharp beauty. "Mada Ning Mai." She said, surprised.

"Hello, Little Yin." She said, and Tang Yin found herself in a warm, familiar hug. "It is so good to see you again. The last ti was in Nuoding Primary Academy before you ca to Shrek."

"What are you doing here?" She asked the tall woman, who giggled.

"After the Clan Master's young daughter told him about my adorable little Feng, he made a few inquiries about her, and when he figured I knew you and your clan's request arrived. He thought that a familiar face might not be a good idea, and I found myself both promoted and put in charge of this small trading caravan until you reached the harbor cities to Haishen." She winked. "When I do a good job, I might even get to keep the caravan permanently."

"A promotion. Congratulations, Mada. Does Feng know you are here?" She asked her excitedly. "She would be so happy if you visit her."

Ning Feng's mother shook her head. "Sadly, no. I cannot tell her as this is supposed to be a discreet transport." She shot a dark look at the n behind her. "A ssage that was not received, it appears. I will send her a letter, and once this is over, I will go and see her."

Both n looked towards the ground without saying anything under her stern gaze.

"Oh, I see. Still, I am happy to see you again," Yin said with a smile toward the woman whose care for her daughter had made many things possible for them in the literary departnt.

"So am I." Ning Feng's mother got up and shouted a few words to the caravan leaders, changing their tone completely. Turning towards her, she said, "You and the honored elder can make yourselves comfortable inside the carriage. I am sure you have many things to discuss while we prepare the rest for departure."

"Alright." She nodded. Then sothing ca to her mind. "Also, Ning Feng is doing really well. She is about to break through level thirty soon and often stargazes on her rooftop during the nights."

Ning Feng's mother stopped briefly before shooting a dazzling smile at Tang Yin almost seeming giddy in excitent "Thank you. That ans she is soon going to surpass her."
