The warehouse was in a rather remote location, but security was decent, so no outsiders ever ca here.

Sierra Sullivan’s warehouse had always had trains coming and going in the past. When the security guards saw so many vehicles arriving all of a sudden, they just assud the warehouse had been leased out again. They didn’t find it strange at all and didn’t even ask too many questions.

That night, Sierra Sullivan stayed in the warehouse until midnight, finally finishing receiving all the items she’d bought from the wholesale market.

Fortunately, these items were relatively non-perishable and had long shelf lives.

It didn’t matter if they were stored in the warehouse for the ti being.

But the prepared foods being delivered tomorrow afternoon were another story entirely!

’I have to get those into the space right away!’

But before that, she had to go get the custom-made container hos and put them into her space tomorrow morning.

That’s right.

In between running around ordering prepared foods that morning, Sierra Sullivan had also called a manufacturer and ordered container hos.

Each container ho was ten ters long, five ters wide, and three and a half ters high.

These types of container hos weren’t just simple to construct, sturdy, and durable; they could also be freely combined and stacked. They could be piled up to five units high without any concerns about their load-bearing capacity.

Sierra Sullivan had already made a plan. The space was two hundred ters long, so she intended to place a row of containers along two of its walls.

A single row could only fit twenty containers, but they could be stacked. To be cautious, she’d stack them four high. That way, one row could hold eighty containers.

Two rows would be one hundred and sixty.

’One hundred and sixty containers of this size should be about enough to store all the supplies I’ve bought.’

Sierra Sullivan paid promptly, so the manufacturer promised to have their workers work overti and deliver all the materials before 8:00 AM the next morning.

Along with the materials would co several hundred assembly workers to build them on-site, guaranteeing everything would be done before noon.

Fortunately, the warehouse was big enough and high enough to accommodate all these containers without any issue.

If her space were bigger, Sierra Sullivan would have been seriously tempted to just put the entire warehouse inside.

She checked the ti. It was almost one in the morning.

’Going ho now just to rush back before 8:00 AM is a bit of a hassle.’

So Sierra Sullivan didn’t bother. She ate a quick snack and went to sleep right there in her car.

When she woke up, she had so breakfast, and the container workers arrived.

For the entire morning, Sierra Sullivan’s ears were filled with all sorts of CLANGING AND BANGING, making both her ears and head BUZZ.

The process was a bit grueling, but the result was good.

By eleven-thirty, all the work was finished.

Sierra Sullivan did a quick inspection, paid the remaining balance without fuss, and saw the workers off.

After they left, Sierra Sullivan imdiately stored the containers in her space.

Everything inside the space was controlled by Sierra Sullivan’s will. She could arrange the massive containers however she pleased.

She didn’t even need a ladder. If she wanted to, she could appear inside any of the containers.

She not only arranged the containers but also sorted the items she bought yesterday and placed them into different containers.

Ti flew by, and soon it was 3:00 PM. The people delivering the prepared foods started to arrive one after another.

Receiving the goods took two hours.

It wasn’t until five o’clock that the day’s deliveries were finally complete.

Sierra Sullivan breathed a sigh of relief and drove ho.

The first thing she did when she got ho was take a nice, long shower. Then, she took out her favorite prepared foods from her space and ate while figuring out what was missing from her supplies and what she should purchase tomorrow.

Before she knew it, Sierra Sullivan had already filled two sheets of paper.

Toiletries, sanitary products, and all kinds of dicine.

Also windproof clothing, bedding, tents, and various boots suitable for sand.

All the various equipnt an outdoor enthusiast might use had to be prepared as well.

Of course, Sierra Sullivan hadn’t forgotten the most important thing—water.

Although there was a spring in her space, Sierra Sullivan couldn’t be completely at ease and decided to order a batch anyway.

The next morning, the first thing Sierra Sullivan did was call a water supply company.

She ordered ten thousand of the large bottled water jugs used for water coolers, buying the jugs along with the water.

She also called various suppliers to order as much bottled water as possible.

When all this water was delivered and Sierra Sullivan had stored it in her space, her heart finally settled down a bit.

As for the other items, Sierra Sullivan didn’t go buy them in person. She just made phone calls, added contacts on WeChat, paid the deposits, and the suppliers naturally delivered the goods to her.

For the next few days, Sierra Sullivan was constantly reviewing her inventory and filling the gaps, either placing orders or receiving deliveries.

During this ti, Autumn Lynch’s family contacted her many tis, but she brushed them off with a random excuse each ti.

In the blink of an eye, it was March 31st, the day before the apocalypse.

All the goods Sierra Sullivan had ordered were now stored safely in her space.

She had bought everything she could.

She hadn’t spent all her money, but there was nothing to be done about it.

The ti was too short, and she had too much money. It was simply impossible to spend it all.

More importantly, she was afraid that making too big of a move would attract unnecessary trouble.

After all, other people weren’t fools. Her purchases so far were just small-scale.

If she had really gone all out trying to spend all her money, she would have definitely attracted so people’s attention.

’When the apocalypse truly arrives, I’d probably die even faster and more tragically than in my last life.’

’Things are fine as they are now.’

The supplies she had purchased were more than enough for her to live very, very well.

Even if she had more, first, she couldn’t use it all, and second, she had no place to put it.

Sierra Sullivan sat in her dining room eating breakfast, gazing at the brilliant sunshine outside, her heart filled with a myriad of emotions.

’By tomorrow, I’ll never see such beautiful sunlight again.’

DING-DONG!

DING-DONG! DING-DONG!

The doorbell suddenly rang.

Even though it was a chanical sound, you could still hear the urgency in it.

Sierra Sullivan checked the cara by the door. Standing outside were none other than Autumn Lynch’s family of three.

Autumn Lynch’s father was nad Desmond Lynch, and her mother was Claire Winters.

Desmond Lynch was middle-aged and still just a small-ti office worker who had accomplished nothing.

Claire Winters, on the other hand, was the type who wanted to do everything but couldn’t do anything well.

Back when her mother was still alive, Claire would always co over crying and would manage to get quite a few benefits from her mother each ti.

Later, her parents died unexpectedly.

She had no relatives on her father’s side, and on her mother’s side, there was only Claire, her aunt.

Claire beca her only living blood-related elder. Coupled with the fact that Claire’s family had put on a good act all these years, Sierra Sullivan naturally grew closer to the family of three.

Claire had even suggested that Desmond Lynch join the company to help her, but she had refused.

She had no interest in managing the company. After her parents passed away, she sold off most of her shares.

Although her parents had started from scratch, they had built a huge business with a wide range of interests.

She wasn’t interested in any of it and couldn’t run it anyway. It was more practical to just convert it all into cash.
