Philisa frowned, thinking to herself. ’This girl is so determined. It doesn’t look like she’ll pay up without seeing the contract.’
But she was also worried that Su Yaoyao was just bluffing and couldn’t actually produce the money.
After a mont’s hesitation, she gritted her teeth, took Lucia’s contract from a drawer, and waved it in the air. "The contract is right here. If you can’t produce the money, no one is leaving today!"

Lucia watched Philisa’s pathetic state, and a surge of satisfaction welled up inside him.
But he was more concerned about Su Yaoyao. He turned to look at her, his eyes filled with complex emotions—gratitude toward Su Yaoyao and the joy of regaining his freedom. "Yaoyao, thank you. If it weren’t for you, I really don’t know how I would have escaped this predicant."
