"Snake Scale City and the Empire haven’t reached a point of mutual destruction. They are rely fighting for survival. I believe we can negotiate a peaceful resolution."

He was keenly aware of the weight of his responsibility. As a general of the Empire, he had to complete the mission His Majesty had given him and uphold the Empire’s dignity and honor.
If he failed at both tasks, how could he possibly return to report to His Majesty?
Su Yaoyao knew she had to return to the Imperial City. She looked at Mingye again, her eyes full of sincerity and resolve.
