"The elevator is coming down."

"Guoguo isn’t silly, hmph ╯^╰."
"Oh right, right."

As they were chatting, the elevator had already co down from the top floor.
Candy heard the ding, swinging her little braids, eagerly waiting for the doors to open.
Soon, the elevator didn’t keep the adorable Candy waiting, the doors opened right away.
In the elevator lobby, Candy kept her distance from the elevator doors and only cautiously took a small step forward after the doors closed.
"Elevator ascending."
At the top floor, Mo Jingchun was already waiting by the elevator doors.
In about ten seconds, the elevator reached the top floor.
"Brother."
As soon as the doors opened, Candy sweetly called out for her brother.
Once the elevators were fully opened, Candy bounced happily into Mo Jingchun’s arms.
Mo Jingchun lifted Candy up and playfully tapped her nose.
"Don’t jump in the elevator next ti, that’s very dangerous, okay?"
"Oh! Guoguo knows now."
After Mo Jingchun carried Candy into the lab, he placed her on a chair and continued crafting the fras for eyeglasses.
While injecting materials into the model, Mo Jingchun asked Candy behind him, "Isn’t Guoguo playing with sister? What brought you here to suddenly?"
"There’s no computer or toys here, it’s not fun at all."
Sitting on the chair with her chin in her hands, Candy tilted her head, thought for a mont, then cheerfully said:
"Because brother is here!"
Indeed, Candy truly lives up to her na, as sweet as it implies!
Unsurprisingly, Candy’s words ward Mo Jingchun’s heart for several days.
Mo Jingchun felt that he might even dream of it at night and wake up smiling.
However, Candy started feeling bored after less than twenty minutes in the lab and beca a bit restless.
The restless Candy slid off the chair and walked to Mo Jingchun’s feet.
Candy gently poked Mo Jingchun’s leg with her right index finger.
"What’s the matter?"
Wearing safety goggles, Mo Jingchun looked down at the little one standing by his feet.
"Brother, what are you doing? Can you play with Guoguo for a while?"
Upon hearing this, Mo Jingchun squatted down, patted the child’s head, and kindly smiled, "But brother needs to earn lots and lots of money to buy milk powder for our adorable Guoguo, don’t you think?"
"When Guoguo grows up, brother will also have to send Guoguo to school and to et many friends, and that also needs lots of money."
"Well... all right then."
"Does Guoguo want to watch Peppa Pig?"
"Okay."
With the phone in hand, Candy climbed onto the sofa against the lab wall and lay there watching Peppa Pig.
Seeing the little one wasn’t playing with anything else, Mo Jingchun felt relieved and continued with his experint.
An hour later, after taking the completed glasses from the mold, Mo Jingchun was quite pleased.
Before he could personally try them on, he glanced back at Candy and was surprised to find that, at so point, she had fallen asleep on the sofa while Peppa Pig continued to play on the phone.
Mo Jingchun looked at the glasses in his hand and then at Candy sleeping on the sofa; he silently slipped the glasses into his shirt pocket.
With everything set, Mo Jingchun carefully picked up Candy.
Candy was deeply asleep and didn’t wake up.
Passing through the first-floor lobby of Candy Technology, Zhou Yaling and others were about to greet Mo Jingchun, but he shook his head, signaling them to stay quiet.
Mo Jingchun didn’t stop in the ground floor lobby but instead took the elevator directly to the top floor office.
After tucking Candy in, Mo Jingchun adjusted the air conditioner in the bedroom to a comfortable temperature.
Then he quietly and softly exited the room and gently closed the door.
Back in his office, Mo Jingchun sat in his comfortable office chair and picked up the eyeglasses to study them.
Once he put on the glasses, Mo Jingchun blinked several tis, only to find that nothing had changed.
The next second, Mo Jingchun amused himself with a silly laugh.
Turned out, he hadn’t installed the button batteries yet.
Not thinking much of it, Mo Jingchun directly called Zhou Yaling again.
At the first-floor reception, where conversation was in full swing, Zhou Yaling saw the call from Mo Jingchun and imdiately felt a headache.
Zhou Yaling realized that working at the reception was indeed an easy job, but her good brother didn’t want to let it be that simple for her.
Yet, Zhou Yaling was unable to do anything about Mo Jingchun, unless she didn’t want to earn pocket money here anymore.
With a forced smile, Zhou Yaling warmly greeted Mo Jingchun on the other end of the line:
"My dear brother, what can I do for you this ti?"
Completely unfazed by Zhou Yaling’s sarcastic tone, Mo Jingchun wasn’t even a little surprised.
"Go to the underground supermarket and bring up so button batteries for ."
"How many?"
"However many, get three or five, won’t that do? Why so much chatter?"
Looking at the hung-up call, Zhou Yaling pouted.
She didn’t really want to go out under the sun, but her body was honest.

After getting the button batteries, Zhou Yaling quickly delivered them to Mo Jingchun’s office.
Once at the office with no one else around, Zhou Yaling let her true self show.
Zhou Yaling spoke to Mo Jingchun, who was watching the view by the window:
"Here, the button batteries are brought."
"Brother, what do you need button batteries for?"
As she spoke, Zhou Yaling’s gaze switched, and she sat down in Mo Jingchun’s office chair.
The mont she sat, Zhou Yaling’s eyes lit up.
Just two words, "So comfy!"
"Brother, this office chair is really comfortable to sit on, isn’t it?"
Mo Jingchun glanced at Zhou Yaling and said, while picking up a button battery: "This chair costs over ten thousand. If it wasn’t comfortable, who would pay for it?"
Zhou Yaling gave Mo Jingchun a thumbs up, "Brother, you really know how to enjoy life."
"Do you think if Dad finds out that a single chair costs over ten thousand, he’d be shocked?"
Mo Jingchun glared at Zhou Yaling and said, "Don’t bring trouble on yourself."
