"Alright, boss, I’ll respond to President Xu right away."

"Mm~"

Suddenly, the sound of a door opening ca from the right, and Mo Jingchun turned his head to take a quick glance.

The next second, Mo Jingchun folded his arms across his chest, watching the two little perforrs trying to sneak away stealthily.

The little one was in front, Zhou Yaling behind, both tiptoeing like kangaroos.

Just as Candy ca out the door, she looked around to see if her brother was there, only to et his not-quite-smiling face.

Oh my gosh! Guoguo was startled.

"Bro... Brother..."

Looking at Zhou Yaling walking behind his little sister with her head down, Mo Jingchun smilingly asked:

"Where are you planning to go?"

The little one spun her clever little head and said with a grin:

"Going to the kindergarten to play with friends."

Although the kindergarten was on holiday, the employees weren’t, and there were children playing on the playground during the day, Mo Jingchun knew.

But, was this little clever one really going to the kindergarten?

Forget it.

Mo Jingchun warned Zhou Yaling:

"Don’t get my sister into any trouble again, or you know what."

Zhou Yaling wanted to say she didn’t know, but she understood what her brother ant by ’you know what.’

He had a hold over her because she feared her dad.

Hmph, just wait a few years, when my wings are stronger, I won’t fear my dad anymore.

If Mo Jingchun knew about Zhou Yaling’s childish thoughts, he would surely laugh heartily.

Even if your wings are stronger.

Your uncle could easily clip your wings so you can’t fly at all.

After the little one dragged Zhou Yaling away, Mo Jingchun shook his head, picked up the book he’d just put down on the table, and continued reading and learning.

Live and learn, you can’t give up learning and stagnate because of temporary pride.

On the other side, after the little one took Zhou Yaling downstairs, they only took a stroll around the kindergarten.

In the little one’s words, they’ve already been to the kindergarten.

On the lawn, a Bun in bright orange was lazily basking in the sun.

Big Black laid its head on Buns, feeling rather comfy.

But with the sun about to set and the temperature dropping, those two might not nap for much longer.

In fact... the poor things wouldn’t even nap for fifteen minutes.

"Bun! Big Black!"

Candy, riding a balance bike, skidded to a stop beside the asphalt road next to the two.

Behind Candy, Zhou Yaling was out of breath trying to keep up.

In contrast, Feiyan was fast-walking, barely breaking a sweat.

Zhou Yaling couldn’t help but lant that she hadn’t exercised during her three years at university, and her fitness had indeed declined.

Now a little run leaves her breathless.

Look at Feiyan, that’s what a professional bodyguard is.

"Big Black, let’s have a race." The little one gleefully petted Big Black’s smooth fur.

"Woof!"

Bun gave a glance at the mischievous Little Demon King, then lay its head back down, pretending to sleep.

Winning has no rewards, losing brings sha to the feline world.

This tireso, thankless job, the feline refuses.

"Big Black! Co here."

"Get ready!"

"Run!"

In fact, as soon as the little one shouted ’get ready,’ Big Black had already set off.

Many painful lessons taught Big Black that after ’get ready,’ Candy would charge forward.

Just as Zhou Yaling was about to follow, a hand rested on her shoulder.

Feiyan shook her head at Zhou Yaling and said, "No need to chase after them, they’ll be back in a while."

No need to chase, Zhou Yaling breathed a sigh of relief.

Just in ti, with her brother not around, Zhou Yaling curiously asked Feiyan:

"Feiyan, what’s up with the intern my brother ntioned?"

"The more he doesn’t say, the more curious I get."

Feiyan smiled slightly, and Zhou Yaling thought the answer was imminent.

But then...

"I don’t know."

"I won’t ask what’s not to be asked, I won’t say what’s not to be said, I won’t do what’s not to be done."

The smile and expectations on Zhou Yaling’s face ca to an abrupt halt.

The next day, only two days remain until Candy Technology breaks for the New Year’s Eve holiday.

With Zhou Yaling back, Mo Jingchun was much more relaxed.

Even though this one was often unreliable.

In the morning, breakfast was ready, and the little one was up with Zhou Yaling.

Mo Jingchun was sowhat surprised.

A university student! And a third-year at that.

Finally on holiday, why not sleep in at least through the morning?

Truly mysterious.

This was not at all like Zhou Yaling’s usual behavior.

Don’t even ntion her early rising at school.

In high school, Zhou Yaling loved sleeping till noon during holidays.

Could she have changed this habit by the ti she got to university?

Impossible! Absolutely impossible!

"Tsk tsk tsk, is the sun rising from the west today?" Mo Jingchun casually grabbed a tea egg and cracked it on the table.

Sitting at the dining table, with no intention of waiting for Mo Jingchun to co down for breakfast, Zhou Yaling glanced at him without speaking.

If the little one hadn’t said she was hungry, she wouldn’t have been so diligent.

Mo Jingchun served himself a bowl of congee, took a sip, and raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Did you add sugar?"

"Mm-hmm, otherwise it wouldn’t have any taste, how could you drink it?"

For a mont, Mo Jingchun was left speechless.

"It’s alright."

Eating the pickled vegetables, Mo Jingchun kept his head down as he gulped down the congee, and asked:

"The day after tomorrow, the company will be on holiday. Are you planning to go back ho with first, or go with Uncle?"

"The day after tomorrow’s the holiday?" Zhou Yaling exclaid.

"Isn’t it still more than ten days until the New Year? Why’s the holiday so early?"

Mo Jingchun chuckled and said, "You’ve been to my company before, we always have early holidays, you should know that."

"Tsk tsk, how much money would that lose! I’m so heartbroken."

"Then you can start a business after graduation, build your own business empire, and do things your way."

"Give a break."

Though she envied her brother, Zhou Yaling knew her own abilities well.

After breakfast, Mo Jingchun put down his bowl and chopsticks and saw that Zhou Yaling and her sister were still eating slowly.

"Take your ti to eat. I’m heading to the company in the morning."

"The holiday is coming up soon, I should also check on my student’s graduation project developnt progress."

"Keep an eye on Guoguo at ho, a girl needs to be a lady, you know?"

"If there’s nothing else, you can have Guoguo practice the harmonica."

"Sothing that costs thousands shouldn’t go to waste."

"I’m off."

Student! Zhou Yaling’s eyes lit up, about to say she wanted to go too.

But Mo Jingchun had already closed the door.

With a slam, Mo Jingchun shut the car door and told Xiaofeixia in the driver’s seat:

"To the company."
