"Alright~"

My sister’s here too, and even my brother’s unusually here today. What’s he doing hanging around if he’s not going ho?

Might as well go ho and watch TV.

Hearing this, Mo Jingchun gave Zhou Yaling a wink.

"Then let’s go."

Ten minutes later, Candy was chattering non-stop in the car, talking about how the strong winds in the afternoon had blown down the trees in the kindergarten.

The little guy was still chuckling, unaware that the rest were terribly anxious.

To avoid being spotted by Candy, Xiaofeixia sped up the car as soon as they reached the gate.

As Mo Jingchun and the others were praying for more speed, they were outdone by fate after all.

They all overlooked the sound of the pumping machine draining water.

The little guy was in high spirits until, suddenly hearing the sound of gushing water, he stood up abruptly.

"Wow, so much water."

The next second, Candy followed the direction of the pipe, eyes widening in astonishnt.

"Wow, where did the pond co from?"

Mo Jingchun, touching his forehead, didn’t feel like saying anything.

Sure enough, Candy, who had just been marveling at when a pond appeared at the company’s entrance, saw the excavator in the middle of it.

Because a lot of water had been drained, the top of the excavator’s cab erged from the water.

"Thi... thi... thi..."

Candy pointed at the excavator, too shocked to speak fluently.

Obviously, the sight before him left Candy unsure of how to describe it.

Without the boss’s word, Xiaofeixia kept driving silently.

This made the little one anxious.

"Sto..., sto... stop the car."

"Pull over," Mo Jingchun said sowhat helplessly.

The plan was good, but reality had other plans!

They calculated everything but didn’t think Candy would find out.

On the curb, Candy crouched, chin in hand, looking on the verge of tears.

Mo Jingchun, seeing that his sister wasn’t crying, secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

The air was filled with a faint sadness and lancholy.

"My excavator~"

"Sigh~"

"Sigh~"

The little fellow sighed again and again.

A perfectly good mood for the day was just ruined like that.

The bicycle was fine, but who knew the excavator, which wasn’t supposed to, would end up in trouble.

Looking at the stubborn excavator, Candy sighed once more.

"Honestly, why did I dig the pit in the first place?"

"Even if I had to dig, why make it so big and deep?"

"Now look, I’ve trapped myself."

"Sigh~"

"How co I didn’t think of driving the excavator up at the start?"

"Ultimately, I let you down, excavator."

Behind Candy, Mo Jingchun found it increasingly funny as he listened.

Several tis, he nearly couldn’t hold back his laughter.

What Mo Jingchun didn’t expect was that his sister didn’t cry, nor did she make a fuss.

Just a hint of sadness?

That must be it.

"Brother, is the excavator unable to move anymore?"

"I guess so?" Mo Jingchun didn’t dare be too definite, thinking, what if the little one cried.

"Sigh~ My happiness is gone."

Just when Mo Jingchun thought Candy was really upset, he heard her mumble:

"Excavators are so heavy, selling for scrap iron should fetch good money, right?"

Good heavens, Mo Jingchun was utterly stunned by his sister’s surprising words.

If he wasn’t worried about her crying, Mo Jingchun would have asked what was going through her mind at this mont.

Recycling scrap? Turning waste into cash?

As everyone watched, Candy clapped her hands on her backside, stood up, and said shockingly:

"Brother, what about selling the scrap? Fifty-fifty split, how does that sound?"

Selling scrap, fifty-fifty split.

Holding her coat, standing on the curb, Zhou Yaling was full of question marks.

At that mont, Zhou Yaling finally understood why so many people said Candy’s thought process was sotis quirky.

Co to think of it, even selling the excavator as scrap could fetch quite a lot of money.

"Okay."

"Let’s go ho and watch TV."

Back ho, Candy turned on the TV but didn’t watch it, instead, looking for sothing on her phone.

Mo Jingchun glanced over and couldn’t help but twitch the corner of his mouth.

The search bar displayed these words.

[Scrap iron recycling price]

But all the little one found were ads, no wonder she kept frowning.

These days, why are kids so shrewd?

Has the trust faded? They don’t believe in their brother anymore.

Even though Mo Jingchun was planning to brush it off with five hundred bucks.

But the kid’s hard to fool.

Watching his sister frown while flipping page by page, Mo Jingchun gave up on the idea of settling with five hundred.

Though the first pages were ads, eventually there would be non-ads.

A minute passed, five minutes, ten minutes!

Candy was still frowning and scrolling her finger on the phone screen, and when Mo Jingchun sneaked another peek, he surprisingly saw more ads.

At this point, Mo Jingchun didn’t have to think much to know Zero was intentionally pushing those ads.

When it got quieter late at night, and Candy couldn’t resist asking Zero about scrap iron prices, wouldn’t the price be up to Zero then?

Brilliant!

This AI is really sothing!

If Zero were a real kid, Mo Jingchun would want to treat Zero to chicken drumsticks.

The little one persisted for a while longer, but in the end, she tossed aside the phone and went to watch cartoons.

Whether she was actually watching was sothing only Candy herself would know.

"Ti to eat."

At night, while Mo Jingchun was already asleep and Zhou Yaling was still on her phone, the little one ran out of the room by herself.

Zhou Yaling, briefly glancing up from her phone, didn’t think too much about it, assuming Candy was out hunting for snacks or sothing.

After all, there’s soone outside, she wouldn’t get lost.

Just as Mo Jingchun predicted, Candy finally couldn’t hold back and asked Zero.

The little one sat on the steps and whispered to her smart watch:

"Zero, do you know how much scrap iron can sell for?"

"Yes."

The little one’s eyes lit up.

"Zero, quickly tell Guoguo."

"A ton goes for only a few dozen bucks, even less than collecting plastic bottles."

"Oh, right, a ton is a thousand kilograms, about the weight of thirty of you."

Sitting on the stairs, staring at the smartwatch, Candy gasped.

Xiang’Er had once said a plastic bottle could be worth a di, compared to that, it really seed like scrap iron wasn’t worth more.

"Oh well, even mosquito legs are at."

"Selling it to buy candy isn’t so bad."

Even though her brother’s building had plenty of snacks and the underground supermarket let you take whatever you wanted for free, she just wanted to see if candy she bought herself tasted different.

The little one returned to the room, Zhou Yaling lifted her head for a glance, then laughed again watching funny short videos.

The hilarious clips on the short videos were just too funny.

"Ouch~"

"Candy, your hands are so cold, get them off my belly."

"I won’t, it’s so warm~"
