That evening, Jacob, Lydia, and Allison went out for a night of bowling. The alley was relatively quiet, bathed in neon lights and filled with the soft sound of music playing in the background. Jacob had never bowled before—sothing he was quick to admit.

"I already told you girls I'm clueless about bowling." Jacob said with a shrug. "So one of you has to teach ."

Allison smiled, grabbing his hand. "Don't worry, I'll show you how it's done."

"Excuse ." Lydia interrupted, slipping in between them. "But I've been bowling since I was little. I'm clearly the better teacher."

The two girls exchanged a sharp look before turning back to Jacob, who was clearly enjoying the attention. At the sa ti, they both said. "Jay, choose one of us to teach you."

Jacob smirked, shaless as ever. "Why don't you both teach ?"

Lydia snorted, while Allison smiled and took the lead. "I'll go first."

As they took turns helping him, Jacob played along. When Allison showed him how to aim, she stood close behind, gently guiding his arm. He leaned back into her slightly, smirking when she blushed. Not to be outdone, Lydia pulled Jacob aside and did the sa, pressing close as she adjusted his grip on the ball.

Soon, teaching turned into a playful competition. Each ti one girl got too comfortable with Jacob, the other quickly jumped in.

"All right, Lydia. My turn." Allison said firmly, grabbing Jacob's arm and pulling him away.

After a little while, Lydia would argue back, saying. "Okay, that's enough. I haven't shown him the curve shot yet." Then, she would take Jacob's hand and hug him from behind to adjust his stance—pressing her body against his a little too closely, much to Jacob's enjoynt.

Back and forth it went, both girls using any excuse to get close to him. Jacob enjoyed every second of it, shalessly leaning into the attention and occasionally letting his hands wander just enough to make them blush… but not enough to push his luck.

Surprisingly, neither of them seed to mind.

By the ti the ga ended, none of them were keeping score anymore. They were too caught up in the flirty chaos to care.

Later that night, Jacob drove them both ho. He dropped Lydia off first, and she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek with a wink before stepping out of the car.

Allison narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything.

When Jacob drove her ho, she lingered in the car. With a soft smile, she said. "I had fun tonight."

" too." Jacob replied, grinning.

Allison rolled her eyes. "I think you had a little too much fun."

Jacob smirked. "Yes, I did."

Allison gave him a playful shove. "Scumbag."

"You can call whatever you want. I'm too happy right now to care." Jacob replied.

She glanced toward her house and sighed. "My dad's probably furious. I snuck out, rember?"

Jacob shrugged. "Then how about you spend the night at my place until he cools down?"

Allison said. "Are you stupid? That'll just make him angrier."

"Well, he's just worried about your safety. So tell him we just went bowling with Lydia and that we were safe. He'll probably stop being angry."

"Probably. Anyway, I should go."

"Let walk you to the door."

They got out of the car and walked up to the porch. As Allison reached the door, she turned and said. "Good night."

Jacob smiled. "Aren't you going to give a goodnight kiss like Lydia?"

Allison raised an eyebrow. "No. You took enough advantage of tonight, you pervert."

"Co on, it's just a kiss on the cheek. And if I'm a pervert, then you are too."

She folded her arms. "Excuse ?"

Jacob grinned. "You were all over when you were teaching how to bowl. You even checked out my abs."

Allison blushed. "No, I didn't!"

"Yes, you did." Jacob teased, then leaned in and kissed her cheek. "Good night, pervert."

Allison kicked at him, but he dodged with a laugh.

"Go away!" She said, flustered.

Jacob backed away, still smirking. "See you tomorrow."

Allison watched Jacob drive away with a smile. She touched her cheek where he kissed her and sighed.

"Okay… ti to face the music."

She opened the door quietly and stepped inside, trying to sneak upstairs to her room. But Chris, who had been waiting and watching from the living room, called out.

"Sweetheart, where are you trying to go in such a hurry?"

Allison froze, turned, and forced a smile. "Oh… hey, Dad. I didn't see you there. I'm just tired and wanted to go to bed."

Chris smiled calmly. "That's fine. But first, how about you tell why you snuck out when I specifically told you not to?"

Allison muttered. "Shit…"

"Watch your language, young lady." Victoria said as she stepped into the room. "Now co sit down and tell us where you've been."

---

The next day, Jacob t Allison and Lydia in the school cafeteria. After greeting each other and sitting down, Jacob looked at Allison with a smirk.

"So… how bad did your parents scold you last night?"

Allison sighed. "Ugh. They nagged for like an hour before letting off the hook. And just so you know, my dad is blaming you for all my bad behavior. He said he's going to have a talk with you."

Jacob chuckled. "Well, as long as he doesn't shoot , I'm willing to listen to whatever he has to say."

Lydia glanced at Allison. "So… are you still coming with us after school today?"

"Definitely." Allison said. "I begged my mom, and she finally agreed to let hang out with you guys."

"Is that so?" Lydia replied with a sigh. "Well, that's too bad then."

Allison rolled her eyes. "How unfortunate for you."

Just then, Scott and Stiles joined their table, food trays in hand.

Jacob raised an eyebrow. "Where have you two idiots been this morning? I didn't see you in class."

Stiles grinned. "We saw you though. You were surrounded by a group of girls and looked way too busy to notice us."

Lydia and Allison imdiately turned their glares toward Jacob.

He held up his hands. "Don't look at like that! When you two aren't around, those girls just swarm . It's hard to get rid of them."

"So you were so busy with them all morning that you didn't even notice your friends?" Lydia asked coldly.

Jacob shook his head. "No, they only gathered around before class started. The rest of the ti… I was asleep."

He looked at Stiles, who was still smirking. "By the way, Stiles… I think there's another dead body in the woods. Wanna check it out with tonight? Just the two of us?"

Stiles froze. "Uh… no-no thanks. I-I'm good."

Jacob leaned closer. "You sure? I heard the body belongs to soone from our school… soone with a weird na. If I rember right, his na was… Mieczyslaw?"

Stiles groaned. "Then I'm definitely not going with you. That's my na. And how do you even know my real na?"

Jacob shrugged. "It's in the student register."

Stiles quickly changed the subject. "Let's not talk about that. Did you guys hear what happened to the bus driver who got attacked yesterday?"

Allison perked up. "What happened?"

"I was listening in on my dad's calls last night. They said the bus driver… didn't make it. He succumbed to his injuries."

"He died?" Allison asked, stunned.

Stiles nodded grimly. "Yeah."

Lydia frowned. "Did your dad catch the mountain lion that attacked him?"

"Not yet."

Allison gave him a look. "Mountain lion? Didn't you tell your dad it was probably a bear?"

Stiles glanced at Jacob and Scott before replying. "No… and honestly, we're not sure what kind of animal really attacked that man."

They kept talking until the bell rang. Lydia and Allison left for class while Jacob leaned toward Scott.

"You checked the bus yesterday?"

Scott nodded. "Yes, I did. I was there, but I didn't attack that man. I was trying to help him. But the alpha was too strong—he injured . A lot of that blood on the bus was mine, actually."

Jacob nodded. "I see. What we need to figure out now is why the Alpha killed the bus driver. Was it random, or was he a specific target? If he was a target, then we might be able to uncover what the Alpha's planning—or even figure out who he is."

Stiles spoke up. "Leave it to . I'll find out everything about the bus driver."

Jacob replied. "Alright, you handle that. But be careful. Don't go snooping around in places you shouldn't. You're a normal human, Stiles. If the Alpha cos after you, you won't even be able to run away."

"Don't worry." Stiles said. "I'll just swipe so files from my dad's office. Nothing dangerous."

Jacob nodded. "Good. Let's get back to class."

As they walked back, Jacob thought to himself. 'I already know who the Alpha is and what he's doing… but for now, I'm not telling them.'

---

After school, Jacob t up with Lydia and Allison again, and the three of them spent the afternoon shopping. Jacob ended up carrying most of the bags while the two girls subtly competed with each other—picking out clothes they thought he'd like or sticking closer to him as they walked.

Later, they went to the movies.

Jacob sat between them.

Halfway through the movie, Lydia rested her head on Jacob's shoulder. A few seconds later, not wanting to be outdone, Allison did the sa on the other side.

Jacob grinned to himself. 'Best day ever.'

Neither girl moved for the rest of the movie—both clinging to him like he was the prize in a silent, stubborn battle.

Jacob, anwhile, sat there like a king, basking in the attention. 'I could really get used to this.' He thought.

By the end of the night, Jacob dropped both girls off at their hos and returned to his mansion.

After eating a massive dinner, he decided to go to bed early. But around 2:00 AM, he was woken by a loud, distant howl.

Jacob opened his eyes and smirked. 'Sounds like Peter's pissed. It should be Kate who arrived in town and shot him, right?'

He yawned and rolled over. 'Anyway… ti to go back to sleep and try to finish that sweet dream with Lydia and Allison.'
