Chapter 243 Plot
Creations...?
A ...?
Suddenly, I had a great idea... writing a !
The fact that a random story I made up years ago could stir up such a huge wave proves I have talent!
So, I started slowly researching, brainstorming tons of ideas.
I was very confident in my work because not only would it allow to showcase my talent, but it could also prove that I had once been in this world. It would be the proof of my existence.
My initial idea was to create a vast world for a ti-travel story, where the protagonist constantly moved through history to accomplish various tasks.
However, I made a mistake—this was far beyond what I could handle. I only have a day and a half, but this story would take at least a million words to finish.
Can a normal person write a million words in a day and a half without eating, drinking, or sleeping?
I tried countless tis, but no matter what, I couldn't reach the conclusion.
The closest I ca to finishing was when I drastically compressed the story. I was just one chapter away from wrapping it up when, for so inexplicable reason, I decided to proofread once more before the earthquake hit. That proofreading session was what ruined my chance of finishing.
A day and a half is just too little ti.
I don’t have the courage to try writing it all over again.
My typing speed is only about 4,000 words per hour. How could I possibly finish a novel in one day?
So, I ca up with a second plot. I created a character nad {Chu Qi}, who wielded the {Seven Evil Sword} and punished evil people in the martial world.
The expected length of this novel was only 200,000 words, and if I put in the effort, I was confident I could finish it within a day and a half.
But then, a turning point ca in my life.
How many cycles of reincarnation did it take to et that person?
I did the math—it was around two hundred and sixty.
That day, I finished the entire {Seven Evil Sword}, and I was in a great mood.
It was the seventh ti I had completed {Seven Evil Sword} in one day. I was growing more familiar with the plot of this novel, and the task had beco second nature.
I grabbed a can of beer, as usual, and while drinking it, I waited for the earthquake to arrive.
I was in a good mood today, so once I entered the room, I’m going to dive straight into a verbal battle with Chen Junnan.
When I opened my eyes in the room, everyone around looked shocked, and I knew they were stuck to their seats, so I didn’t pay much attention.
But a few seconds later, I was also struck with shock.
There was an extra person in the room!!
What was going on?!
I had woken up in an eight-person room for two hundred and sixty cycles, so why was there now nine people in this room?
Just two minutes later, I cald myself down. The newcor was also a young guy, and he was quite good-looking. As per my experience, those blessed with looks are often short on wit.
Much like Chen Junnan.
I took the opportunity to look at Chen Junnan, and that one look startled , giving a huge fright.
With tears streaming down his face, Chen Junnan forced a smile, his expression unusually complicated as he fixed his gaze on the newcor. It seed he had sothing on his mind, but couldn’t express it, and in the end, he showed a completely distorted smile.
What’s going on?
Do they know each other?
I had never seen Chen Junnan make such an expression. He looked like he had completely lost it!
‘Well... maybe it’s a good thing he’s gone crazy,’ I thought to myself. If that’s the case, doesn’t that an he might finally follow my orders and vote the way I want?
When everyone had finished sharing their stories, before I could guide them toward the vote, the newcor suddenly picked up a piece of paper and started calculating.
What the hell... what is he calculating?
Before long, he spoke up with his deduction.
This deduction completely threw off.
Oxygen? Oxygen consumption?!
My god... so the grid on the wall is used to calculate the area?!
The clock in the center is used to calculate ti?!
I—I take back what I said... this person wasn’t an idiot.
He introduced himself as Qi Xia.
He's so smart. He must not be here to cause trouble...
He’s just like the character from the novel I wrote... he’s a {savior}!!
Of course, why didn’t I think of that? This person is here specifically to rescue !
What followed completely caught off guard: even after us voted for {Mortal Goat}, the ga didn’t end. This cursed place actually has a second round of the ga—known as {Bamboo Shoots After Rain}!
I had never witnessed anything like this before… I was so scared!
Even with the {savior} by my side, I couldn’t suppress my fear.
I was actually pierced through the throat by a harpoon and died on the spot!
F*ck!
F*cking hell!!
What kind of cursed luck do I have?!
But at least now I have so hope.
It seems that {writing a } was truly a wise choice, as I’m gradually able to explain my situation using the plot of a story.
This thing is called {Infinite Rebirth}—because I’m the protagonist, I’m bound to face so setbacks at the beginning, and Chen Junnan is my setback.
He will suppress the protagonist’s abilities or continuously create challenges, which is a manifestation of a writing technique that builds tension before allowing the protagonist to rise.
After enduring enough setbacks, my {savior} will appear—this person is Qi Xia. As long as I follow him, he will lead through tasks, and I will slowly find the way out, maybe even beco an invincible being.
It’s just like in the novels!
I was actually looking forward to the next earthquake!!
Haha! Savior!! I’m f*cking coming for you!!
But when I opened my eyes in the room this ti, I was once again thrown into chaos.
The room now had ten people...
I really don’t get it anymore, what does this an?
Where did this woman co from?
What do you think this place is? Can anyone just show up whenever they feel like it?
Stories don’t progress this way!
Even more unexpectedly, Chen Junnan was killed by that goat-headed figure in under a minute after waking up!
I was truly torn between excitent and worry... Chen Junnan is dead, which ans there won’t be any more disruptions, but why was he killed?
Am I the next one?
But... does it even matter? Qi Xia is still as clever as ever. No matter what choice he makes next, I will follow him without question.
I’ve not only read novels, I’ve written them—this much I know!
The protagonist absolutely cannot be foolish. They must follow the lead of the powerful predecessors in order to reach the best possible ending.
But those harpoons are just too terrifying. Since I had already been pierced through the throat by one before, I began trembling in fear ahead of ti. Even with my {savior} next to , I couldn’t stop shaking.
In my mind, I kept repeating, ‘Don’t shoot ,’ but to my disbelief, I was still hit.
Thankfully this ti, I didn’t die; I was only shot through the shoulder.
I get it now... This is the kind of setback the protagonist must face.
Even though I’m injured, I’m about to have so kind of fortunate encounter... When the protagonist gets hurt, there’s a high chance a beautiful doctor will appear, and she’ll pull out a magical elixir. I just need to take one and I’ll be—
