Chapter 331 Final Curtain

“Audacious,” Black Tortoise snapped coldly. “You have five seconds to relay the question.”

“You crazy bitch!!” Terrestrial Snake felt a sudden jolt of anxiety surge through his chest, his legs turning to jelly. The iron ball he’d struggled to hold aloft ca crashing down. “All you f*cking know is to rush and command others!”

Black Tortoise waited silently outside the door for a few seconds before reaching out to open it.

But unlike the others, she didn’t open the door the usual way. She pulled it sideways—dragging it across with a single motion. The wooden door instantly crumbled into dust.

“Terrestrial Snake, violation, die.”

Black Tortoise raised her hand and gave a gentle wave. Every piece of tal before her shimred as if sliced by so invisible force—trembling for a mont, then breaking apart into tiny cubes, scattering like a rain of beans across the floor.

She didn’t hold back; the sheer force of it carved through both side walls of Terrestrial Snake’s room, revealing the adjacent chambers. Chen Junnan and Xu Qian could now see each other clearly.

“Terrestrial Snake, die.”

Upon seeing Black Tortoise, Terrestrial Snake collapsed onto the ground in an instant.

“Wait!!” he howled. “I—I can make the call now! I’ll do it right now!”

“Too late.”

“Too—?”

At those words, Terrestrial Snake clenched his jaw and widened his eyes. Before Black Tortoise could act, he lunged forward, thrusting his palm straight toward her chest.

Black Tortoise made no move to dodge. She stood unmoving, allowing his hand to pierce straight through her body.

Terrestrial Snake felt as though his hand had pierced into a bundle of straw—empty, fragnted, and without substance.

Black Tortoise’s body was nothing like ordinary flesh.

“Oh…?” Black Tortoise paused slightly, a glimr of delight flashing in her eyes. “Were you attempting to kill ?”

Every drop of blood in Terrestrial Snake’s body turned cold.

“I was wrong! I was wrong, I was wrong!” he yanked his hand back in a panic. “I don’t dare kill you… it was all a misunderstanding…”

“You don’t even have the courage to kill …” The faint joy in Black Tortoise’s gaze slowly gave way to disappointnt. Then she raised her hand into the air and gently closed her fingers around sothing—already gripped in her palm was a grotesquely purplish-red object.

A closer look revealed it: a still-beating, foul-slling heart.

“AHH!!” Terrestrial Snake clutched his chest and scread, “You crazy bitch! Why won’t you let go?!”

He completely lost control, shouting and cursing wildly, “You don’t even wear clothes—do you even know what kind of slut you are?! What gives you the right to kill ?!”

“Audacious,” Black Tortoise said coldly, crushing the purplish heart in her hand. It burst apart like a firework.

Terrestrial Snake gasped sharply, blood spurting from his mouth as he collapsed to the floor, hands still pressed to his chest.

Chen Junnan and Xu Qian had witnessed the entire scene—but all they could do was stare, wide-eyed, not daring to utter even a single sound.

Xu Qian instinctively reached up and covered her mouth.

This Black Tortoise was simply too terrifying. Her hair draped over her like a cloak, yet her icy gaze pierced straight through the strands, chilling anyone it landed on to the bone.

Her thod of killing was anything but ordinary—it resembled neither physical enhancent nor {Reverberation}. If anything, it felt like sorcery.

“Haha… cough cough…” Terrestrial Snake wasn’t quite dead yet. He continued crawling forward across the floor. “I can’t say it…was a complete… loss.”

Bit by bit, he inched closer to Black Tortoise. “The most feared woman in all of {End Point}… cough cough... I’m going to die anyway… Might as well find out for myself… what makes you different from everyone else…”

He brushed aside the long hair trailing to the floor, reaching out to feel her leg.

With a casual wave of her hand, Black Tortoise sliced his entire arm clean off.

“Audacious.”

Black Tortoise raised both hands, her fingers moving slightly, as if plucking the strings of an invisible guqin. In the next instant, Terrestrial Snake’s body shattered into severed limbs, like at hacked apart by a flurry of blades.

Each segnt of his body convulsed independently before falling still, one after another.

At the hands of Black Tortoise, the notorious Terrestrial-grade Earthly Branch t his end as helplessly as livestock before the blade.

“Life-stake gamble, end,” Black Tortoise murmured. “Ga complete.”

She gave a light wave of her hand, and at that mont, the doors to every room swung open. From most of them poured out mangled flesh and blood, crushed beyond recognition, spilling into a reeking, grotesque river of gore.

“Your {Dào} lies here,” Black Tortoise said, extending her hand once more. From the central platform, forty-eight {Dào} flew forth, landing silently upon the ground. “Terrestrial Snake’s corpse and the arena are yours to divide. I take my leave.”

Yan Zhichun, Zhong Zhen, Xu Qian, and Yun Yao, the four remaining survivors who could still move, stepped out of their rooms. They looked around but saw no trace of Black Tortoise; she had already vanished.

“Where’s Chen Junnan?!” Yun Yao was the first to react. She rushed to the adjacent room to check inside.

A single glance made her draw in a sharp breath.

Chen Junnan’s entire body was crisscrossed with gashes from iron spikes—deep, brutal wounds. He had lost so much blood that, at a glance, it was difficult to tell where one wound ended and another began.

“Chen—” Yun Yao rushed to Chen Junnan’s side, quickly scanning him from head to toe. Blood was still seeping from his many wounds. “Yo–You’re still…”

Xu Qian followed closely behind.

It was her first ti getting a proper look at Chen Junnan’s face. Until now, she'd only heard his voice and had assud he must be a sleazy-looking guy—but to her surprise, he was actually quite easy on the eyes.

“...Are you about to die?” Xu Qian asked bluntly.

“Huh? That voice… Qian jie, is that you?” Chen Junnan forced himself upright. “Didn’t expect you to be such a looker… I’m doing just fine. No way this young master’s kicking the bucket here—I still have to go brag to Ole Qi!”

But as soon as the words left his mouth, Chen Junnan’s body gave out completely, toppling forward like a felled tree. Yun Yao quickly reached out and caught him.

He felt alarmingly light in her arms.

Xu Qian instinctively moved to help, but after a mont’s hesitation, she quietly withdrew her hand. The girl beside him… she was likely the one he belonged with. Both of them were strikingly good-looking, they must be a couple.

“Superstar… let go,” Chen Junnan steadied himself again, gently pushing Yun Yao’s hand away. “This young master has stood tall against the wind since childhood; I can’t trouble you over—”
