After Ash spoke those words he disappeared from their view, but he didn’t leave the Sea of Constellations and Gods.... nor did he leave the Garden.
Instead, he appeared directly under the three stars that were hovering low, and then he sat down cross-legged as he summoned his codex.
"Nullen... oh Nullen." He spoke as he began writing.
------
Luna and the young disciple were left standing in the Garden of Beginnings, the soft golden light and blooming flowers suddenly feeling heavier in the absence of Ash’s casual presence.
The young woman still visibly shaken, her hands trembling slightly as she processed everything that had just happened.
Luna exhaled slowly, composing herself before turning to the girl.
"I truly have no plan to take on a disciple," she said, her voice calm but firm. "And Ash is not my disciple. That was all a facade — a way to handle the situation without causing unnecessary chaos in front of the entire domain."
The young disciple’s shoulders slumped, disappointnt clear on her face, but she didn’t interrupt. Her evolution was not as thorough as she didn’t beco a Unus and her star turned out to be only Greater.
Which in this verse ant nothing in the long run, but her start was just lower.
Luna continued, her yellow eyes softening just a fraction.
"However... you will be allowed to watch."
"I will be creating a new and more superior form of Alchemy here, in this garden. You can benefit through your own gains — observe, learn, and grow at your own pace."
The young woman lifted her head, eyes brightening with renewed hope.
"Thank you... I won’t waste it."
Luna gave a small nod, then turned her gaze toward the direction where Ash had vanished, a faint, unreadable smile touching her lips.
"Neither will I."
In that mont she took a deep breath and imdiately got to work.
"In two months.... Alchemy will be redefined in front of all."
-----
As ti began to roll, Luna had been reconstructing the system of Alchemy.
The profession itself at the rawest form was using the accumulated knowledge of the things around you... and changing it into a form that could be either helpful or detrintal.
However, Pantheos was different.... with the works of Divinity, beings could quite literally do anything they wanted.
Using their status screens, if they wanted a pill with certain effects... they could just use their Divinity as a sort of currency.
And this is sothing that at first shocked Luna....
’One with enough Divinity could just pose as a Master Alchemist,’ She thought and, in this mont.... she completely let go of any past knowledge she’d built for over one hundred trillion years.
She honed her focus of the most primal aspects of Alchemy and Transmutation... that flowed through her very existence.
’Refinent... combination... and elevation’
That was it... to her, alchemy and transmutation boiled down to three core elents. In that mont, clarity washed over her.
She stood in the heart of the Garden of Beginnings, eyes closed, hands lifted.
With a deep breath, she began to create.
A single, elegant construct took shape in the air before her — a floating, fla core, no larger than a fist. It burned with a pure, colorless fire that sohow contained every possible hue at once, shifting and dancing without consuming anything.
This was the first of the Alchemical Flas — the only true dium for Pure Alchemy in Pantheos.
|Celestial Decree - All Essence|
As she enacted one of her nine decrees, Luna’s voice carried a calm grace underpinned by an unyielding authority, each word resonating with absolute certainty.
"There shall exist precisely 9,999 of these flas throughout all of creation. No exceptions will be granted, no duplicates shall be permitted, and not even the slightest semblance of imitation will be tolerated."
The solitary fla core pulsed once before dividing.
In a single mont, nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine diverse flas dispersed throughout Pantheos, each seeking a concealed refuge.
Whether be it atop an isolated mountain summit, within the blazing heart of a distant star, or deep in the serenity of an untouched forest.
These flas would respond solely to those who had mastered the fundantal trinity of Refinent, Combination, and Elevation.
Luna lowered her hands, the final fla drifting down to rest within a small, floating lantern at her side.
"From this mont onward," she declared, her voice carrying into the stillness of the empty garden as though addressing the very fabric of the world itself,
"Alchemists will no longer depend on cauldrons or any manner of external instrunts."
"They will wield these flas, shaping the raw essence of existence — emotions, ideas, herbs, mories, even the purest divinity — and craft them directly into pills, elixirs, or creations of greater magnitude."
"There will be no shortcuts, no illusions conjured by status screens, only the pursuit of true comprehension and the unwavering strength of will."
She opened her eyes, a quiet, satisfied smile on her face.
"Anything made with Divinity alone or with lesser flas will never reach the level of Pure Alchemy. Only these flas... and only those who earn them... will create perfection."
HUMM!!!!!
At that mont, her alchemical construct was finally complete, and remarkably, only a month had passed since she had begun.
She first directed her gaze toward the younger disciple, who sat in deep ditation, and allowed a faint smile to touch her lips before turning her attention to Ash.
Observing him from afar, she arched a brow and mused, "Hmm, are won always around him?"
From her vantage point, she could see him seated beneath a tree, writing intently in his codex.
Beside him, however, were Aurelia and Lithia—a truly chaotic pairing.
As though sensing her gaze, Aurelia’s voice carried across the distance, "Oh, our newest sister has finally finished with all of that Alchemy nonsense...."
Before Luna could respond, Lithia rose to her feet, her garnts dissolving in an instant.
Her long, white-purple hair flowed down her back as she announced,
"Isn’t it perfect? Now she can finally join our family~"
"Proper—" Luna began, but her words were cut short when Lithia stepped right in front of her in an instant.
Mwoooch~
"Yes... now co offer yourself to daddy~"
With a quick kiss on her lips, Lithia took her hands and vanished back to the tree with a single backward step.
