Seven to eight hundred Chapters might sound like an overwhelming number to soone unfamiliar with novels.
In reality, though, it was probably on the shorter side.
Ash understood this well, yet that wasn’t what truly caught him off guard.
What struck him was the realization that, at most, he only had around 200 Chapters left before his story would co to an end.
He sat there for a mont in the white void, staring at the phone screen in silence. Then he scoffed, a low, amused sound as he shook his head.
"Well, I’ll be sure to add plenty more Chapters once I’m the Author," he remarked, his tone laced with both arrogance and amusent.
"Because if the Novel has only been around for six months... with only about 1,800 fans... that’s not nearly enough for soone of my magnificence."
It might sound like an arrogant claim, but it was one he was willing to stand by.
If the Author envisioned him as the strongest fictional character, shouldn’t more people witness this greatness?
Otherwise, he’d just be another face in the crowd of countless characters across the platform’s novels.
Elysia chuckled softly, her golden eyes sparkling with teasing affection as she leaned closer to him, resting her chin on his shoulder.
"We are at the very least worth 1,000 Chapters," she said playfully, her fingers tracing lightly along his arm. "Maybe even more. Don’t you think?"
Ash smiled, nodding in agreent as he continued scrolling through the comnts, his thumb flicking across the screen.
The next comnts were a mix, however most of the good out weighed the bad. As he read he quickly noticied how so people would leave comnts or reviews simply based on the tags of the novel.
Or simply without reading anything at all.
"Just what’s the point of comnting... if you never planned to read?" He questioned finding such things weird.
However, once again the good vastly outweigh the negative comnts. As there were many readers who left a five star review.
"Ah, see he gets the idea." He muttered seeing another Five Star review.
EclipseTeller_767:"Okay, where do I even start? This story is peak....."
He then continued reading with a smile that didn’t falter. Despite seeing people drop his tale based on harem aspects, the rough beginnings, and etc.
He also found so of them funny as it seed like those who comnted on the earlier Chapters didn’t find Kaelthyr too pleasing.
And they often seen him as nothing but a decoration character.
*At this point add in how Elysia speaks on how they are not giving Kaelthyr much created. As he ca this far with most of his own power.
As it took quite a while for Ash to evolve him or anything.*
Then ca the reviews he found most irritating and even blasphemous.
Many readers believed Sonna to be a whore because of the torture she endured in her early years.
She had been manipulated and forced by Sia to help her son beco the champion of Elaris.
He also saw how many couldn’t believe he had ford a bond with her.
Then there were the comnts that called him a cuck, along with a few suggesting the author had strange fetishes for even writing such content.
Ash read through them all in silence, his expression unchanging. After a while, he simply shrugged, his voice calm and dismissive.
"Who gives a fuck what they think?" he said casually. "They were obviously skimming over key points... or just not using their brain cells."
He then moved on to the Chapter comnts and paragraph comnts, scrolling through the more detailed reader reactions with Elysia leaning in closer, her golden eyes scanning the screen alongside him.
The void around them felt strangely intimate, the soft glow of the iPhone casting gentle light on their faces as they read together.
The comnts flowed past like a living stream — so hyping up certain monts with excited caps, s, or emojis, others expressing enjoynt at specific power-ups or character interactions, and a few voicing displeasures at pacing or side plots.
However, Ash quickly noticed that the paragraph and Chapter comnts were much funnier and more entertaining than the reviews.
They were filled with inside jokes and playful roasts that made him smirk as he scrolled.
He then saw a comnt that made him pause and chuckle.
vi0: "Hello Ashhhh!"
Ash laughed softly, his reddish-purple eyes sparkling with amusent as he spoke aloud, as if addressing the reader directly.
"Well, hello," he said, a grin forming on his face. "How are you liking my magnificence so far?"
Elysia smiled beside him, her golden eyes warm as she read along.
While scrolling, he also noted a few recurring nas that kept popping up: EclipseTeller_767, vi0, TheJadeBooty, Not029, Ak420flash, Err0r, InfinitDragon, Pendragon_, and many more.
After going through them all, Ash took a mont, staring at the screen in silence before opening the Discord app.
Ash opened the Discord app.
The interface loaded with a soft chi, and a red notification badge imdiately popped up on the server icon: 50 new ssages.
Ash arched a brow, his reddish-purple eyes narrowing slightly with mild surprise.
"It seems a lot livelier than I expected," he muttered, his thumb hovering over the screen as he tapped into the main server.
Elysia leaned in closer, her golden hair brushing against his shoulder as she peered at the glowing screen with quiet curiosity.
"Fifty new ssages already... they have a lot to chat about, don’t they?" she said softly, her voice carrying a hint of amusent.
Ash chuckled, scrolling to the very beginning of the server’s ssage history.
He began checking out all the different channels — general chat, spoilers, art, and more. The server was active, with mbers sharing s, discussing plot points, and other general
His lips twitched as he ca across nurous pictures of his wives — beautiful, stylized illustrations and edits of Nia, Vaeloria, Raven, Sonna, and the others.
There were also quite a few of him, but the majority of the art and comnts were heavily focused on the won.
"They keep fawning over my won," Ash comnted, his tone filled with possessiveness.
He smiled slyly, leaning back as he continued scrolling.
"I wonder how they would like it if I deleted all their illustrations, leaving only the n."
Elysia chuckled softly, her golden eyes sparkling with mischief as she rested her chin on his shoulder.
"They would probably abandon the server if that happened," she said, her voice light and teasing.
"Or start a riot."
