He had fallen asleep last night, forgetting to set an alarm. The last thing he rembered was reading the final chapters of JJK, where Sukuna talks about taking a different route in life if he is ever reborn.
Slash! Slash! Slash!
He wondered if he was still dreaming as he looked around. He was in a completely white room. The place felt awfully similar to where Jogo and Sukuna had their "Stand proud, you are strong" conversation.
He had a bad feeling.
"What the fuck?"
In the middle of the room was a dharma chakra, similar to that of an iconic shikigami. Curious, he reached out and touched it.
The next mont, everything turned black.
What the hell?
He looked around the void and realized he was in one of those situations he had read about in fantasy books and novels. He felt curious—excited, even—wondering which world he would be transported to. The thought of appearing in JJK or even Naruto thrilled him.
There were several possibilities. He was a manga geek and enjoyed ani like One Punch Man and Attack on Titan, though he hoped he wouldn't be born into the latter.
Out of nowhere, he felt pain—like sothing was being molten into his very soul.
"Wait!! Fuck!!"
He couldn't focus, powerless to stop the process. Slowly, he lost consciousness.
Year: 1999
The Children Village Orphanage
"You okay?"
He opened his eyes to see the face of a woman in her mid-forties, concern etched across her features as she leaned over him. He blinked and looked around, realizing he was lying on the ground, surrounded by a bunch of five-year-olds.
He tried to speak when a wave of mories crashed into his head. He closed his eyes in pain.
He rembered the reincarnation process. More and more details surfaced as he adjusted to this world.
His na was Ethan Doe. No surna—after all, orphans didn't need one. He was currently five years old. He rembered the white room, the dharma chakra, and the soul-crushing pain before arriving here.
Today was the day he was supposed to be adopted.
But he had just received the news that the potential parents had canceled their plans.
It stung for a mont, but he had endured far worse pain just monts ago. He was ushered to his room by the sa woman—attractive, in her forties—wearing a suit over a blue blouse with a matching knee-length gray skirt.
Back in his room, the woman—who, if his mory served him right, was Miss Andler—produced a penlight and aid it at his eyes, checking for signs of a concussion.
After offering so sympathetic words—
There will be others… It will be alright…
—she left.
He barely registered her words. His attention was completely focused on the blob-like creature with nurous eyes perched on her right shoulder.
From novels and records about JJK, he knew curses beca aggressive if they noticed that you could see them. So he avoided eye contact, which was difficult since the low-grade curse had at least five eyes.
His first thought was that he was in JJK, but he quickly discarded it when he rembered that the foundation maintaining this and other orphanages was nad the STARK Foundation.
This had to be an amalgamation of JJK × MCU.
If that was true, then he knew exactly how horrifying both worlds could be.
In the MCU, regular people were cannon fodder.
And in JJK… the less said, the better.
He looked around his room and noticed a book he didn't rember owning.
Ten Shadows Technique.
His heart skipped.
He imdiately focused on his shadow.
He felt two presences respond instantly—Divine Dogs, one enthusiastic, the other serene. He flipped through the pages until he reached the section describing the dual shikigami.
The Divine Dogs are the initial dual-wolf shikigami (white and black) granted upon inheriting the Zenin Clan's Ten Shadows Technique. They are used for tracking and destroying curses. When one is destroyed, its power rges into the survivor, creating the enhanced form known as Divine Dog: Totality.
Individual: Grade 2
Totality: Grade 1
Hand Sign: The user clasps their hands together, often crossing fingers and pressing the tips of their thumbs together to form a canine shape.
He attempted to summon the twins, but in his excitent failed to regulate the amount of cursed energy he poured into the technique.
Two massive wolf heads erged from his shadow, nearly filling the entire room.
He imdiately canceled the summoning, afraid he might destroy the place. Despite the heavy output, he felt no strain whatsoever.
He tried again—this ti with minimal cursed energy.
Two wolves erged, lively and eager to et their master.
He gave them two simple commands:
Kill all curses in the orphanage.
Do not harm any humans.
He knew the tragedy of the Potential Man.
gumi Fushiguro had inherited the Ten Shadows Technique in JJK, yet never fully realized its potential—despite it rivaling the Limitless Six Eyes of the Gojo Clan.
He swore he wouldn't end up like him.
He would achieve what the Potential Man could not.
He would master the Ten Shadows.
That included the iconic shikigami bearing the dharma chakra upon its head—
the being with the power to adapt to any and all phenona.
