He was searching for the thod of fusing Spiritual Fire. However, he didn’t find it in any of the three rings. Was it because their status in the sect was too low, or was the Spiritual Fire fusion thod sothing unique to Huo Lingzi?

At the base of the mountain, a large crowd had already gathered, all gazing upward in amazent at the palaces. There must be Treasures in there! Everyone thought excitedly.
Lin Xuan was astonished. Could this be the Five Elents Celestial Palace that Princess Zi Yan ntioned? He began to observe the area more carefully.
He discovered that a path led up from the base of each of the five peaks, each leading to a different palace. It looks like I can only choose one, Lin Xuan thought. After a mont of consideration, he walked forward.
He ca to one of the paths and found a stone tablet erected beside it, carved with three words: "Heaven Ascending Road!"
What a domineering na, he mused. I wonder what kind of Treasures are inside that Five Elents Celestial Palace.
Lin Xuan wasn’t the only one who was shocked; the other prodigies gathered there were equally stunned. They all speculated that top-tier Treasures must lie within the palaces. Unable to contain their excitent, soone imdiately charged forward, and others quickly followed suit.
But in the next instant, screams rang out. All those who had charged onto the Heaven Ascending Road scrambled back in retreat, their bodies scorched black. One prodigy didn’t make it back at all; he was instantly reduced to ashes and died on the path.
"What happened?" the others gasped.
"Who attacked them?"
"It was the Heaven Ascending Road!"
The injured Disciples had faces full of terror. One of them stamred, "The mont we stepped onto the path, terrifying flas erupted from the steps and burned us! This Heaven Ascending Road has an Array! It’s a path of fire!"
The crowd was in an uproar upon hearing this. "Let’s go check the other paths!" soone shouted. They rushed toward the second Heaven Ascending Road.
They discovered that it too had an Array, but it wasn’t flas this ti. It turned out every Heaven Ascending Road was protected by an Array. So had fire, others had golden light, and so were even subrged in a vast ocean. The crowd realized this was the power of the five elents. The five Heaven Ascending Roads each possessed a different elental power. This ant the Treasures within the five palaces were likely five-elent related.

For instance, the mbers of the Ten Thousand Flas Sect went to the fiery Heaven Ascending Road, while those from the Northern Spirit Sect went to the watery one. The other clans and sects made their choices as well.
Lin Xuan didn’t move. He remained standing before the fiery Heaven Ascending Road, silently observing for a while before preparing to begin his own ascent.
Just then, a rumbling sound echoed from the distance.
"An unparalleled prodigy has arrived!" soone shouted.
Everyone turned to look and saw that the seven-star prodigies were arriving.
Beiming arrived first. He was clad in a black robe, his aura overwhelming and even more formidable than before. He had clearly had a fortuitous encounter.
"Senior Brother Beiming, over here! This is the Heaven Ascending Road of water!" the mbers of the Northern Spirit Sect shouted. Beiming imdiately headed in their direction.
Next, Sword Dust arrived, followed by Yan Wushuang. One by one, all the top-tier prodigies made their appearance. Prodigies from the Heavenly Dao Academy also ca, including Tian Xing from the Star Pavilion. He didn’t even bother looking at Lin Xuan, his eyes fixed on the Five Elents Celestial Palace.
