"Then how can I avoid them without offending anyone? What if I leave the City Lord’s Mansion and go for a walk?"

"So what should I do?" Lin Xuan sighed again.
Ye Qingwu said, "I know the Disguise Technique. I can disguise you, and then no one will recognize you when you go out."
"Really?" Lin Xuan was surprised. "Senior Sister Ye, you have such a skill?"
"Of course."
Ye Qingwu then proceeded to disguise Lin Xuan. Originally a handso young man, he was transford into a cool, aloof youth. Lin Xuan looked in the mirror and nodded in satisfaction. This aloof look clearly says ’stay away.’ Those people probably won’t recognize .
"Wait for , I’ll disguise myself too." Ye Qingwu also disguised herself, and the two quietly slipped out of the City Lord’s Mansion.
Outside, they saw many young talents and female disciples waiting. Those female disciples were all dressed to the nines.
Seeing them, Ye Qingwu said, "Junior Brother Lin, are you sure you don’t want to et them? They’re all here to throw themselves at you."

New Moon City was incredibly vast. The local customs were different from those in both the Heavenly Dao Institute and Yun Province. Yun Province was in the southern part of the Great Xia Country, the Heavenly Dao Institute was in the central part, and New Moon City was in the eastern part.
There were many things here that Lin Xuan had never seen before, as well as many local snacks. Lin Xuan and Ye Qingwu wandered around, eating as they went. Although Ye Qingwu was a Senior Sister, she was still quite young, only eighteen years old. She had the mindset of a young girl, wanting to try every tasty treat she saw. Before long, she was full.

"Wow, these stones are so pretty!" Ye Qingwu exclaid, pulling Lin Xuan into a shop.
The stones inside were of bizarre shapes, so even emitting a faint, moonlight-like glow. The shop owner was an elderly man with white hair. Seeing how surprised Lin Xuan and Ye Qingwu were, he smiled and said, "You two must be from elsewhere, visiting New Moon City for the first ti, right?"
"How did you know?" Ye Qingwu asked, looking up. Her originally stunning features had beco average after the disguise.
The old man stroked his beard and laughed. "Because you don’t even recognize Moon God Stones. You must be from sowhere else."
"You say these stones are Moon God Stones?" Ye Qingwu was surprised. What an odd na.
Lin Xuan asked, "What’s so special about these stones that they dare to be called Divine Stones?"
The old man replied, "You shouldn’t underestimate these Moon God Stones. They were all excavated from ancient places. These stones are extrely old; so are even from over ten thousand years ago. They’re magical, and so might even have incredible treasures sealed within them. Soone once bought a piece of a Moon God Stone, and when they cut it open, they found a fragnt of a secret manual inside. Even though it was just a fragnt, it allowed that person to beco a Grandmaster."
Ye Qingwu was amazed.
Lin Xuan was a bit skeptical. Is he telling the truth? He isn’t just trying to trick us into buying his stones, is he? "Really? You’re not just trying to fool us, are you?"
"Of course it’s true," the old man’s eyes widened. "Why would I deceive you? If you don’t believe , go ask around. Everyone in New Moon City knows about it."
At this mont, the voice of the Big Black Dog rang out in Lin Xuan’s mind. "Kid, these stones might indeed have extraordinary origins. ’Moon God Stone’ is probably just the na they use here in New Moon City; these should just be called Divine Stones. They exist deep within the earth and have been passed down from ancient or even prival tis. So of them really do have incredible things sealed inside. In fact, these Divine Stones aren’t just found in New Moon City; they exist in other places too."
So it’s true? Lin Xuan was dumbfounded. He began to examine the stones more closely.
Soon, he picked a stone that was emitting a glow. After paying a high price for it, he had it cut open on the spot, only to find it completely empty inside.
Lin Xuan was dumbstruck.
The old man, however, said, "Young master, don’t be discouraged. Cutting out a treasure depends on luck. How about buying another one?"
Heh. Lin Xuan rolled his eyes. Who knows if there’s any treasure in these stones, or which one has it?
Ye Qingwu, however, fixed her gaze on a rectangular stone. "I want this one," she declared.
"Don’t buy it. The odds are too low. There’s probably nothing inside," Lin Xuan advised.
"I sense an unusual aura from this stone," Ye Qingwu replied. "It’s sowhat similar to the Dragon Claw Stone Slab. I think there might be a treasure inside."
Just as Ye Qingwu was preparing to buy the stone, a cold voice ca from behind them. "That stone is mine."
Hearing this, Ye Qingwu turned to see a young man approaching. He was dressed in a long robe bearing the insignia of the Celestial King’s Mansion.
Ye Qingwu frowned slightly, while Lin Xuan’s expression turned grim. Soone from the Celestial King’s Mansion dares to be arrogant in front of ? I beat the Little Celestial King half to death, let alone so other disciple.
"We saw it first," Lin Xuan said coldly.
The genius from the Celestial King’s Mansion sneered. "So what if you saw it first? I’m a disciple of the Celestial King’s Mansion. You dare compete with ? Are you tired of living?"
He continued arrogantly, "Kneel now, hand over the stone with both hands, and I might spare your lives. Otherwise, don’t bla for being impolite."
The disciple was extrely arrogant, completely dismissing Lin Xuan and Ye Qingwu. He didn’t recognize them at all. Since Lin Xuan and Ye Qingwu were both disguised, others couldn’t recognize them.
