As the crowd murmured, the Law Enforcent Team focused on the shop. Upon entering, they were taken aback to find mbers of the Prince’s Mansion inside. The Law Enforcent Captain hurried over, clasped his fists in salute, and said, "So it is the geniuses from the Prince’s Mansion. What seems to be the matter?"
The Lightning Swordsman replied coldly, "Soone injured a disciple from our Prince’s Mansion. I was just about to teach them a lesson."
Hearing this, the Law Enforcent Captain’s expression changed. He looked over at Lin Xuan and Ye Qingwu, noting they appeared ordinary and weren’t any famous talents he recognized. His voice turned cold. "You two have so nerve, daring to fight in New Moon City! Are you tired of living? Surrender obediently and co with to await your judgnt."
Ye Qingwu retorted angrily, "Why are you only targeting us? They fought too! They broke the rules, so why aren’t you taking them away? Furthermore, the mbers of the Prince’s Mansion started it. We were only defending ourselves. What did we do wrong?"
The captain sneered. "Little girl, are you out of your mind? They are from the Prince’s Mansion! They are above everyone else! You two ants want to compare yourselves to them? With what?"
Clearly, the captain was biased toward the Prince’s Mansion. It was a dominant power, and if he could curry favor with them, he might find himself on a path to fa and fortune.
The onlookers sighed and shook their heads, thinking the pair was incredibly foolish. How could they dare to challenge the Law Enforcent Team? Their fate was going to be tragic.
Lin Xuan’s expression turned cold. "Is this how your Law Enforcent Team handles things?" he asked angrily. "Is this what your City Lord taught you?"
"Insolence!" the captain roared, his face turning red with fury. "Our City Lord’s na is not for you to speak!" He drew the long knife from his waist as power erupted from his body.
It’s over. This kid is dead for sure, the onlookers sighed.
Lin Xuan’s expression was incredibly grim. He was about to reveal his true identity as the Champion Marquis and see if they still dared to attack. But just then, soone else flew over, and a powerful voice bood, "Stop!"
The newcor was Elder Wang from the City Lord’s Mansion, who had been having a al nearby. Seeing the Law Enforcent Team arrive, he had glanced over out of curiosity and imdiately recognized Lin Xuan. Although Lin Xuan was in disguise, he couldn’t fool a true expert like the elder. Elder Wang was about to go over and greet him when he saw the Law Enforcent Captain raise his knife to attack. Damn it, is he crazy? That’s the Champion Marquis! A re captain dares to attack the Champion Marquis? Does he want to die?
"Stop!" he roared. The shout was like a thunderclap, shaking the onlookers so violently that they almost stumbled and fell.
The captain was taken aback. Who dares interfere with my business? Do they have a death wish? He whirled around angrily, but his expression instantly changed when he saw it was an elder from the City Lord’s Mansion.
He quickly turned and saluted. "Greetings, Elder! I didn’t expect to disturb you. Rest assured, I will handle these two little ants swiftly so they don’t disrupt the order of New Moon City," the captain said hurriedly.
He’s still going to attack? Elder Wang’s expression changed drastically. He raised his hand and slapped the captain across the face. SLAP! The captain was sent flying, letting out a wretched wail.
What was going on? Everyone was dumbfounded. The captain, completely bewildered, could only think, Why did the Elder hit ?
Elder Wang completely ignored the captain. He hurried over to Lin Xuan and bowed deeply. "Greetings, Young Master Lin. Please forgive . My subordinate was blind and failed to recognize your true identity. I hope you can forgive him, Young Master."
This Elder Wang was quite clever. Seeing that Lin Xuan was in disguise and clearly didn’t want to reveal his status, he addressed him as "Young Master" instead of "Champion Marquis."

Elder Wang’s face fell. This is bad, Young Master Lin is furious. He’s the Champion Marquis, personally titled by the Emperor. His status is incredibly high. If he reports this to the Emperor, New Moon City will face dire consequences. It won’t just be ; even the City Lord will be punished! No, I must appease his anger. With that thought, Elder Wang spun around and slapped the captain across the face again.
Elder Wang was a Nine-Star Grandmaster, his strength imnse and bordering on that of a Great Grandmaster. This single slap sent the captain flying. He scread as his face was torn open, teeth scattering across the ground.
"Elder Wang, I was wrong!" the captain hurriedly begged for rcy.
"Admitting your mistake?" Elder Wang snorted. "It’s too late for that." He grabbed the captain by the collar and began slapping him relentlessly. The crisp sounds echoed through the shop as the captain’s face quickly swelled up like a pig’s head. He was knocked unconscious, slapped awake, and then knocked out again, trapped in a living nightmare.
It was a grueso sight, making the onlookers’ scalps tingle with fear. After delivering over a hundred slaps, Elder Wang finally threw the captain to the ground. He turned back to Lin Xuan and asked respectfully, "Young Master, are you satisfied?"
The entire room was stunned into silence. Everyone was thinking the sa thing: My god! Who on earth is this young man?
