A cunning thought flashed through Ye Ruxue’s mind. "Oh, this? It’s a Treasure I found by chance not long ago. Mother, do you like it? If you do, I’ll give it to you."
If Lin Xuan finds out I took the scales, he might demand them back. But if they’re in Mother’s hands, he’ll probably be too embarrassed to ask for them. After all, he’s practically the Ye Family’s son-in-law now. What’s wrong with giving his mother-in-law a small treasure?

Who could be so audacious as to attack Madam Ye? Do they have a death wish?
