The bracelet shone, forming a light shield that enveloped the great hall. Everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief, now that they were safe.
"I wonder how things are outside?"
"Clan Leader, did you capture the Ninth Elder?"
They discussed among themselves as they waited, but their reprieve was short-lived. Unexpectedly, a mysterious black mist began to swirl out from the bracelet.
Ye Ruxue bore the brunt of it. She felt a wave of dizziness, her body weakened, and she collapsed to the ground. Looking down, she saw that the bracelet was now gushing a large amount of black mist.
"What is happening? What is this?" Ye Ruxue scread as she tried to pull the bracelet off, but she found she couldn’t.
The others were stunned. What’s happening? How can there be black mist inside the bracelet?
Soone went over to investigate, only to fall to the ground with a thud.
"This is bad! The black mist is poisonous!"
Everyone’s faces changed drastically.
"Quick! Destroy the bracelet!" soone roared.
Ye Tian sprang into action, striking the bracelet with his palm in an attempt to shatter it.
BOOM!
The bracelet remained undamaged, but black energy now clung to Ye Tian’s palm. His body went limp, and he collapsed to the ground.
The others turned pale upon witnessing this. Ye Ruxue, who was completely engulfed by the black mist, grew weaker by the second. She could feel the vitality draining from her body at an alarming rate.

"Stop attacking! Just seal the bracelet!" soone yelled.
The others tried again, this ti attempting to seal the bracelet, but they found that was impossible too. Moreover, the black mist began to spread outward. Ye Fei and the others also felt dizzy before collapsing one by one.
"This is bad. The bracelet is too terrifying. It can’t be destroyed or sealed."
"And this black mist is too strange. We were poisoned just from breathing in a little of it."
"We can’t seal the bracelet," one of them said in despair.
Another added grimly, "If we want to save Ru Xue, we might have to cut off her arm. It’s the only way to save her life."
When Ye Ruxue heard this, her face went deathly pale. What? Cut off my arm? Is this so kind of sick joke? No! Absolutely not! She shook her head frantically.
Madam Ye’s expression turned grim. "Xue Er, don’t panic. I’ll send a ssage to your father right now. He’ll co back and save you."
At that mont, Ye Qingwu stepped forward. "We should use this scroll."
Everyone was stunned.
"That’s the scroll Lin Xuan left. Will it even work?"
"Of course it won’t work!" Ye Ruxue cried out in desperation. "We can’t suppress this black mist even when we work together! How could a scroll from Lin Xuan possibly help?"
"Just hurry and get my father back here! He’s the only one who can save !"
Madam Ye took out a Sound Transmission Talisman. "Xue Er, don’t worry, I’m sending the ssage now." She, too, doubted that Lin Xuan’s scroll could possibly dispel the black mist.
Ye Qingwu, however, simply opened the scroll.
In the next instant, a dragon’s roar rang out, echoing across the heavens and the earth. The entire palace trembled. A mont later, a Dragon Shadow surged out of the scroll and spiraled into the air.
As they felt this power, everyone present trembled.
Ye Tian and the others felt their scalps tingle. What terrifying power!
Ye Ruxue trembled so violently she felt the urge to kneel in submission. What is this power? It’s horrifying! It completely overwhelms !

The Dragon Shadow roared and swiped its claw, enveloping the bracelet.

The others sighed in relief. "Great, we’re saved."
With the black mist gone, they felt their strength returning. A lingering fear made them shudder.

The Dragon Shadow continued its assault, shattering the remaining water spheres with swipes of its claws. All the trapped elders were freed.
"They’re out! The elders are free!" The crowd went wild upon witnessing this.
Lin Xuan really did it! He truly resolved the crisis!
