Has my brother really submitted? What a joke.
Wu Yu couldn’t believe it. Her brother was a peerless prodigy who stood high above everyone else. Who could possibly make him yield? Not even Mo Feng of the True Dragon Sect could do that. This kid is clearly spouting nonsense!
The mbers of the Wu Family also roared in anger. "Are you challenging Wu Chen?"
"Are you challenging our Wu Family?"
"Are you looking for death?"
The distant spectators were utterly shocked. They too found it incredible and assud the boy must be spouting nonsense, but they soon noticed that sothing was wrong. Wu Chen wasn’t angry, nor had he made a move. This defied all logic. Against an existence like Wu Chen, anyone who dared to issue a challenge would have been slapped to death long ago. Yet now, Wu Chen had taken no action.
Could it be that what Lin Xuan said was true? Had Wu Chen really submitted?
The re thought of this possibility sent a chill down their spines. It was too shocking! Too unbelievable!
Wu Yu also realized this. "Brother, say sothing!" she urged. "That kid is provoking you! Slap him to death!"
Wu Chen’s expression was incredibly grim. He looked at Lin Xuan and said in a low voice, "Don’t go too far!"
Lin Xuan snorted. "What, not convinced? It seems you don’t have a clear understanding of your new status."
After speaking, Lin Xuan activated the soul imprint.
Imdiately, Wu Chen scread. His head felt like it was splitting apart. He clutched his head and rolled on the ground in agony.
"Brother, what’s wrong with you?!" Wu Yu cried out, startled. My brother is injured? Could Lin Xuan have done this? "Damn it! I’ll kill you!" she roared, charging at Lin Xuan.
Lin Xuan’s expression darkened. Since the woman was courting death, he wouldn’t mind suppressing another person. He prepared to strike.
But at that mont, Wu Chen managed to roar, "Sister, run!"
"Brother!"
Wu Yu hesitated, but Wu Chen roared again, "This is an order! Leave now!"
Wu Yu’s eyes instantly turned red. She gritted her teeth and said, "Brother, wait for . I will save you." She glared back, crying as she fled into the distance. "You damn brat, what despicable ans did you use to control my brother? I will never let you go!"
Lin Xuan just snorted, completely unconcerned.
Beside him, Ru ng shook her head and sighed. If Wu Chen hadn’t tried to snatch the Fire Dragon Jade, he never would have ended up in this situation. One could only say that he had brought this upon himself. If the Wu Family decided to make another move, their fate would likely be even worse.
The other mbers of the Wu Family were also scared witless and fled in a panic.
As for the distant spectators, they were even more dumbfounded.
Wu Chen had really submitted! It was unbelievable! Lin Xuan’s thods were simply heaven-defying! He truly is a Young Emperor!
But the Wu Family would definitely not let this go. Could this kid withstand the Wu Family’s wrath?
Lin Xuan, however, didn’t care at all. If the Wu Family dared to make a move, he would annihilate them. After all, he had the Snake King protecting him. He didn’t take a re Wu Family seriously at all.
At this mont, he was examining the Thunderstruck Wood he had obtained, feeling the terrifying Thunder Power contained within it. Lin Xuan didn’t absorb it imdiately but stored it away. He planned to properly absorb its Thunder Power after he returned. This item could be used to temper his Physique and could also be used to refine Elixirs. All in all, it had many uses and was a precious Treasure.
Lin Xuan put it away, then waved his hand. "Let’s go."
While Lin Xuan was collecting the Thunderstruck Wood, major battles were erupting in the other passages. Especially in the first passage, Mo Feng was displaying his full prowess. He swept through everything in his path, obtaining several Treasures, which made him very happy.
Behind him, Chasing Wind followed. He didn’t dare make a move. For the past few days, he had been watching Mo Feng in action, and the display of power made his heart pound with fear. He realized the gap between them was simply too vast. If he were to attack, he probably wouldn’t be able to withstand even a single one of Mo Feng’s moves. So, he could only follow quietly. Fortunately, his Body Technique was formidable, and so far, his target hadn’t discovered him.
After so ti, Mo Feng, who was up ahead, stopped. A massive palace had appeared before him. The palace was extraordinary, built not of stone, but of wood.
What a curious palace, Mo Feng thought, his eyes lighting up as he rushed inside.
Upon entering, he was taken aback. The scene inside was completely different from what he had imagined. It was like a forest. The mont he stepped in, vines shot out towards him, attempting to bind him like chains.
Mo Feng roared, his body quaking as he unleashed his power, shattering all the vines.
Hearing the roar, Chasing Wind hurried over. He reached the entrance of the great hall but didn’t dare go inside, choosing instead to observe from the outside. He discovered that the interior of the hall was just like a forest, with rays of rosy light shimring within. The ground was covered in all kinds of strange flowers and exotic grasses, resembling a Human Immortal Realm.
Furthermore, at the center of this forest, there was a lake. The lake was crystal clear, like a gemstone embedded in the earth. And within that lake grew a giant lotus—a Dragon Lotus. The lotus was in bloom, its petals shimring with a brilliant light, each one resembling a Dragon Scale. In the center of the lotus rested a bead. It was a green bead that emanated an incredibly powerful life aura, as if it were a spring of life itself.
Chasing Wind only glanced at it for a mont before he felt the energy inside his body begin to boil. How terrifying! Could this bead be the legendary Wood Dragon Pearl? Could this be the Dragon Pearl that Lin Xuan is looking for? Thinking of this, Chasing Wind quickly sent a ssage to Lin Xuan.
Inside the palace, Mo Feng was equally ecstatic. Heavens, this isn’t a palace; it’s practically a Human Immortal Realm! Strange flowers and exotic herbs are everywhere! And there’s a Dragon Lotus in the lake ahead! The bead at its center made his heart pound wildly. A Dragon Pearl! This is definitely a Dragon Pearl! Heavens, the legend was true! There really is a Dragon Pearl in this Ancient Relic!
Mo Feng was delirious with joy. He was just about to seize the Dragon Pearl when he suddenly sensed a wave of energy from behind. His expression changed as he spun around. "Who is it? Get out here!"
Oh no, have I been discovered? Chasing Wind’s face fell. He wanted to escape, but it was too late.
BOOM!
A palm strike shot out from the distance, flying toward him like a great mountain. Chasing Wind hurriedly dodged. With a deafening crash, the spot where he had been standing was obliterated, leaving behind a deep crater.
Chasing Wind’s scalp tingled. That was terrifying. Luckily I dodged. Otherwise, I would be dead for sure. He turned and fled.
"Where do you think you’re going?" Mo Feng roared. The news of the Dragon Race was here; it absolutely could not be allowed to spread. He would not let the spy get away. Stomping his foot, he shot forward like a bolt of lightning in pursuit.
Chasing Wind pushed his speed to its absolute limit, fleeing frantically.
Mo Feng’s expression changed. He couldn’t catch up. This person is so fast!
He flipped his palm, produced a rune, and slapped it onto his body. It was a Wind Rune, which could multiply one’s speed upon use.
After activating the Wind Rune, Mo Feng’s speed increased dramatically. He almost instantly appeared in front of Chasing Wind, flashed past him, and blocked his path.
Chasing Wind’s face turned green. How is this possible? How can he be so fast? Seeing the glowing rune on his opponent’s body, he exclaid, "A Wind Rune! As expected of the True Dragon Sect, to possess such a Treasure!"
Mo Feng stared at Chasing Wind and said coldly, "So, it’s you. No wonder you’re so fast. But what does it matter? You still can’t escape my grasp. You saw the Dragon Pearl, didn’t you? That ans I can’t let you live."
With that, he struck out with his palm, intending to kill Chasing Wind.
Chasing Wind’s scalp tingled. He dodged desperately, leaving several afterimages on the ground as he narrowly avoided the blow.
Mo Feng sneered. "Your speed is quite impressive, but let’s see how many tis you can dodge." He continued his relentless pursuit.
「On the other side」
Lin Xuan had also received Chasing Wind’s ssage. He was ecstatic. "The Wood Dragon Pearl has finally appeared! It’s in the first passage!"
"Let’s go," he commanded, waving his hand. He took Ru ng and Wu Chen and shot into the sky. He had to obtain the Wood Spirit Pearl.
「The First Passage, near the Wood Spirit Palace」
Chasing Wind was sent flying by a strike, spitting out a large mouthful of blood. Thankfully, he was fast enough to avoid a fatal blow to his vitals; otherwise, he would surely be dead. Even so, he was severely injured. He collapsed to the ground, his face pale.
Mo Feng walked over and looked down at him condescendingly. "Once I kill you, no one will know about the Dragon Pearl," he said. "Go to hell, kid."
He raised his palm to strike.
Chasing Wind’s face filled with despair. He roared, "Killing is useless! I’ve already sent word to my Young Master, and he’ll be here soon! He will avenge !"
"What?" Mo Feng’s expression changed upon hearing this. "You told soone else? Who?" Did he tell Wu Chen? In his mind, the only person Chasing Wind would call ’Young Master’ was Wu Chen, the top genius of the Wu Family.
He snorted. "So what if Wu Chen cos? He’s no match for at all!"
