Take the Ogre Tribe's Shuna, Shion, Benimaru, and Souei, who in the original story had the potential to awaken Ultimate Skills.
Souei's future magicule count exceeded 1.2 million, while Shion and Benimaru, with specialized weapons, surpassed 5 million each.
Excluding Shuna, the trio's combined magicules reached 11.2 million.
With a 50% feedback rate, taking them as familiars could yield over 6 million magicules.
Allocating four slots to them wouldn't just break even... it'd be a massive gain.
"Half my familiar slots should go to nurturing hub-world talents."
Damien didn't forget the other 250 ogres. "Even if they can't beco familiars, Leader can draw power from followers."
Familiars gave 50%, nad followers 15%.
Regular followers, based on loyalty, provided 1-3% magicules.
Excluding B--rank children, the remaining 200 ogres averaged 6,500 magicules.
At a minimum 1% feedback, that's 65 × 200, nearly 13,000 magicules.
With high loyalty, it could hit 40,000.
"But eting the conditions for recruitnt isn't that simple."
Leader's ability to harness collective power was powerful but not without limits.
A re "I pledge loyalty" wouldn't make soone a follower.
A genuine, heartfelt submission was required to form a magicule bond.
The Ogre Tribe revered strength, but reverence wasn't allegiance.

Damien had an idea. "Naming!"
Yes, naming!
It was the simplest, most direct way to secure the Ogre Tribe's loyalty.
With 18,000 magicules, Damien couldn't touch the 10,000 threshold, leaving 8,000 for naming.
The strongest ogres, Hakurou and the ogre leader, had 9,000 and 8,500 magicules, respectively.
Naming them would cost 2,500 magicules.
"At 10,000 magicules, Hakurou and the ogre leader could evolve into Oni."
"With nad followers providing 15% magicules, I'd gain at least 3,000 back."
"So, this deal doesn't lose... it nets 500."
Naming ogres with over 8,500 magicules was essentially cost-free.
"Damien, your aura... it's so much stronger!"
"Yeah."
Damien smiled. "Thanks to you, Ogerpon, I evolved successfully."
"I'm now an upper Majin, just like you."
Ogerpon was thrilled at Damien's evolution, happier than when she grew stronger herself.
"Ogerpon, can you fetch the red-haired guy, uh…"
Damien almost said 'Benimaru' but rembered they hadn't been nad yet.
With no choice, he described Shuna, Shion, Benimaru, and Souei's appearances for Ogerpon to fetch them.
"Ogerpon's on it!"
The little girl took the order and bounced out eagerly.
"Slow down, don't trip!"
"I won't! Ogerpon's not clumsy!"
Ogerpon turned back, sticking out her tongue. "Only dummies trip on flat ground!"
With that, she sped up instead of slowing down.
"This girl…"
Watching Ogerpon's playful antics, Damien couldn't help but smile.
His little sister figure was always so lively, her cheer infectious.
No matter the mont, being with Ogerpon always lifted his spirits.
