"Hiss~!"

"What's going on?"

"Where did I end up?"

As space rippled, Damien landed and was hit by a biting cold wind.

"Whoo~ Whoo~"

Snow swirled in a blizzard, the world blanketed in white, with gusts sweeping snowflakes like towering waves.

In the distance, massive icebergs stood like ancient fortresses, towering over the snowy expanse.

Bathed in sunlight, they glead brilliantly, but their shadowed sides were dark and frigid, evoking an eerie, mysterious aura.

[Travel Complete]

[Analyzing Rules…]

The Voice of the World echoed in Damien's ears, a first for him.

'Rule analysis?'

Damien realized this wasn't a physical arrival or a temporary insertion like in Konosuba.

It was a third type... a new mode of travel.

"Bwoh?"

Ogerpon glanced around, clutching her Ivy Cudgel, alert for danger.

"It's so cold here."

The four stood with Damien at the center, Ogerpon in front, Shion and Shuna behind their lord.

"But it's weird. Why does my body feel so light?"

Shion gave a light hop, and her body shot up hundreds of ters, like a human on the moon.

The ground trembled beneath them.

Looking at Shion, they saw the earth where she'd stood had caved in, leaving a massive crater. The trio now stood in the collapsed pit.

No doubt, this was the result of Shion's jump.

"What's with this world?"

Shion, startled by her own impact, grew cautious, fearing another crater. "Is the ground made of cookies?"

"This world's rules are off."

Damien soon noticed the issue, bending down to pick up a frozen rock.

Crunch!

The rock crumbled effortlessly in his hand. "The materials are too brittle!"

"Shion, Ogerpon!"

Realizing sothing, Damien warned, "Control your strength. This world is far weaker than the Cardinal World!"

"Your every move could cause unimaginable destruction."

Without a reference for comparison, Damien couldn't gauge the exact gap between worlds.

But the ground beneath them felt so fragile that a slight push could shatter it.

"I'll be careful."

"Bwoh!"

Shion and Ogerpon imdiately beca cautious.

They sensed it too.

This world's physical rules were bizarre.

Simply put, compared to the Magicule-saturated Cardinal World, everything here... plants, trees... was like foam to Shion, breaking with a poke.

Shion, an A-rank, could unleash S-rank destruction here.

Yes, S-rank, comparable to an True Demon Lord.

And that was a conservative estimate.

In the Cardinal World, a Special A-rank's full strike neared a nuclear blast.

At S-rank, a casual move could destroy a nation.

Higher still, Special S-rank could pierce the sky or sink continents, truly affecting the Cardinal World's stability.

In the original story, Milim in a rampage could annihilate star systems or even universes.

Destroying the Cardinal World was akin to obliterating the Tensuraverse.

"The air contains unique energy particles."

"This energy is far weaker than Magicules, even less than Spiritrons."

A group of A-rank Majin, their bodies forged from refined Magicules.

In a world with energy weaker than Spiritrons, the destruction they could cause was staggering.

Forget Shion... Ogerpon could likely shatter this planet.

"The gap between worlds is just too vast, isn't it?"

Damien genuinely feared the three might accidentally destroy this world.

If that happened, he'd likely be forcibly expelled by the world's will, blacklisted, and barred from returning.

"For now, everyone, control your strength."

"Limit it to one percent... no, one-thousandth."

Unsure of the new world's specifics, Damien didn't return imdiately. Instead, he led the three to wander the icy landscape.

All four had resistances, unfazed by the cold.

The initial chill was just their bodies adjusting; Damien could ignore such temperatures if needed.

Resistances were passive but adjustable.

Otherwise, how could they enjoy hot soup or ice pops?

Rumble!

"Hm?"

Shortly after climbing out of the pit, the ground shook again.

"Shion?"

"It's not , Lord Damien!"

"Then…"

Before Damien could ask, a monstrous head burst from the snow.

A 20-ter-long centipede, covered in white crystals, exhaled icy breath, its violent blue eyes fixed on the 'humans' causing the commotion.

"Hm?"

Seeing the ice crystal centipede's hostility, Ogerpon raised an eyebrow, ready to summon her Ivy Cudgel to teach it a lesson.

"Wait, hold on!"

"Let handle it!"

"Ogerpon-nee, leave it to !"

Spotting such a massive beast, Shion stepped forward eagerly, itching to prove herself.

"Well…"

Damien didn't mind letting Shion act. "But I think we should try communicating with it."

"Oh!"

"As expected of Lord Damien, I understand."

Shion stepped forward, shouting, "Hey!! Can you understand us?"

With the Voice of the World's influence, language barriers didn't exist.

Even for beasts or monsters, Shion could convey her thoughts if needed.

"We're travelers who ended up here by mistake. We an no harm!!"

She turned to Damien, checking if she'd said it right.

"Good job!"

Damien gave her a thumbs-up. She'd rembered his earlier advice.

In a new world, don't be too aggressive.

They weren't invaders but travelers, and basic courtesy was key.
