Waking up to see such a face in the morning was quite a shock for soone like Yun Qiqi, who was captivated by appearances.
She stared at him for a full minute before slowly coming to her senses, realizing her limbs were all wrapped around him. Her cheeks instantly flushed, even her ears burned.
Thankfully, Yan Yan didn’t know she was clinging to him like this, and she hurriedly withdrew her hands.
She then carefully tried to climb off him.
Last night, she originally planned to leave after he fell asleep, but sohow... she accidentally fell asleep herself, and probably Yan Yan still didn’t know.
If he woke up to find her sleeping in his bed, he might assu she was trying to do sothing to him and might use it as a pretext.
The more Yun Qiqi thought about it, the more guilty she felt, fearing even more to wake him up and be seen there.
All she could think of was to get off him right away, maybe sneaking back to her room and he wouldn’t know anything.
However, the man’s hand around her waist was too tight, as if afraid she would run away.
She could only slowly, bit by bit, pry his hand open.
Finally freeing herself, she let out a sigh of relief and sat up, planning to get out of bed. But in his sleep, Yan Yan seed to notice the little figure in his arms was gone, and without a word, his big hand scooped her back into his embrace.
Yun Qiqi was caught off guard and fell back onto his chest.
Her nose hit painfully, bringing tears to her eyes, and the intimate position made her blush again, wanting to climb off once more.
This ti she was even more careful, yet Yan Yan seed to have anticipated it, holding her tightly with both hands, even turning over to pull her entire body into his embrace.
She heard a dreamy mumble by her ear: "Little Gua, don’t go, okay?"
With the tall man’s body behind her, bringing his scent around her, Yun Qiqi only felt her heart suddenly race.
Hearing his words, she instantly thought of his crying face from last night, making her eyelashes tremble slightly.
Quietly held by him for a while, once he stopped moving, she again sneakily tried to slip away.
At that mont, Yan Yan opened his eyes, confusion still lingering in his phoenix eyes from just waking up.
Looking down at the restless little one in his arms, he asked, "What’s going on?"
Yun Qiqi: "..."
She froze completely, not daring to move in his arms, feeling nervous for the first ti in her life.
Frantically thinking of how to explain her appearance in his bed.
Yet, the man was calm, rely glanced at her and vaguely understood what was making her nervous.
He couldn’t help but find it amusing, curling his lips as he reached to pull her back into his arms. While she was still dazed, he leaned down and kissed her forehead, his voice hoarse: "Little Gua, morning."
His voice upon waking was indeed pleasant, slightly hoarse, with a lazy contentnt deep in his tone.
Yun Qiqi’s ears burned again as she awkwardly responded, "Morning..."
Then she realized she needed to explain: "Well, I... I didn’t an to, I accidentally fell asleep last night."
As she spoke, she imdiately wanted to climb out of his arms.
Being in the sa bed was too ambiguous no matter how you thought about it!
However, Yan Yan seed oblivious to her actions, his arms still holding her as he lazily replied, "I know."
"You..."
The man lowered his head and nuzzled her soft, white face: "I don’t mind, sleep if you want."
