Yun Qiqi paused for a mont; wasn’t she on a plane? How could soone make a phone call here?
She glanced at her signal bar; it surprisingly had a signal. Yan Yan’s plane...is truly high-tech!
Looking at that unfamiliar number, a strange feeling suddenly arose in her heart.
She answered it, and heard Doctor’s voice from the other end: "Qi Qi, are you alright?"
Yun Qiqi froze, her back instinctively straightened.
She shut the bathroom door, her tone flat and emotionless: "I’m fine, what’s the matter?"
Her indifferent attitude wasn’t anything new, Doctor didn’t mind at all.
His tone remained gentle, with a hint of probing: "I heard you took a part-ti job, is it with Yan Shi Group?"
Yun Qiqi lowered her gaze slightly, her delicate fingers tightened around the phone.
Indeed, Doctor knew.
Shi Yunshen was right; they would find out sooner or later.
"Yeah." She replied blandly.
Doctor fell silent for a mont, then spoke earnestly: "Qi Qi, society is very complex. I was always wary that Yan Yan would find you, but didn’t expect...it would happen so quickly."

She initially thought Yan Yan was generous, but it seems...he was prepared long ago, just for Doctor to find out these things?
And Doctor also seed convinced she was just a stand-in.

She stood before the mirror for quite so ti, before heading back to the room where Yan Yan was.
Along the way, for so reason, her mind kept recalling what Doctor said earlier.
Even knowing well that his words weren’t trustworthy, she still felt a slight unease within her heart.
His reluctance to speak clearly...
And that agitated tone when he told her not to trust anyone, it didn’t sound fake in the slightest.
All these made her especially concerned, and exceptionally uneasy.
