"Okay."
Yan Yan responded softly and was about to pull her away.
Then he saw Jiang Lihua, who had been following Yun Qiluo, and paused slightly. He quickly recognized her, and his phoenix eyes instinctively narrowed.
Jiang Lihua nodded at him as a greeting and then looked at Yun Qiluo, saying, "Luo Luo, I’ll head up first."
Yun Qiluo turned her head, waved her little hand, and said in a sweet voice, "Bye Hua Hua."
Jiang Lihua smiled, glanced at Yan Yan again, and then turned towards the elevator.
Yan Yan watched her back, his phoenix eyes half-narrowed, filled with endless depth and danger.
After a while, he lowered his head to look at the young girl in his arms.
"Do you know her?"
"Mm-hmm!" Yun Qiluo nodded vigorously, "She’s my new friend! Beautiful woman, do you think she looks familiar?? She’s the girl we saw in the theater who was really good at fighting!"
Talking about sothing new made Luo Luo very excited, and she imdiately recounted everything that happened in the restroom to Yan Yan.
She hadn’t intended to hide it from him and couldn’t conceal anything in front of him, so she quickly confessed everything.
Her reason for making friends was simple; she felt Jiang Lihua was a good person.
Plus, she’s very capable, and she really liked her.
Although a bit mysterious, it didn’t affect Yun Qiluo’s fondness for her.
Yun Qiluo didn’t have any ulterior motives, but Yan Yan was not so easily assured.
He had noticed this girl was not simple when they were at the cinema before, as she clearly had many mysteries surrounding her.
He had kept people investigating her, but nothing turned up, as if she appeared out of nowhere and then vanished into thin air.
Now she appeared here again, staying in the sa hotel.
The coincidence was too much.
Back in the room, Yun Qiluo was still too excited to sleep; she had slept a bit during the day, so now she lay on the bed, gazing at the snowy scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling window and texting Jiang Lihua on her phone.
She had wanted to check her friend circle posts but found she hadn’t posted any, so she had to chat with her instead.
Yan Yan looked at her happy expression, but said nothing about other matters.
He just made a call to Secretary Qin: "Check when Jiang Lihua, staying in room 301, checked in."
Secretary Qin didn’t ask for reasons; being a competent subordinate ant just getting the job done.
They had so standing in R Country, and the hotel was already inford, so the results ca quickly.
Secretary Qin ssaged Yan Yan: [She’s been here for five days, presumably for vacation.]
Then sent over the flight and accommodation records to Yan Yan.
The man glanced over them briefly and furrowed his brows.
Five days ago, he hadn’t even decided to co here for skiing, or even set a date for his business trip to R Country. It was a spontaneous decision because Little Gua was too bored at ho.
Could it really be a coincidence?
Knowing this, his expression improved a lot.
However, he still couldn’t completely relax about the woman nad Jiang Lihua. Even if it was just a coincidence, he hadn’t forgotten the way she looked at Yun Qiluo in the cinema before.
It was clear she knew her.
Yun Qiluo, on the other hand, really liked this new friend, Jiang Lihua, and chatted with her on the phone for quite a while that night.
After learning she was three years older than her, she imdiately regarded her as an elder sister-like friend.
She also asked her a bunch of questions about skiing, until she got tired, kept the phone aside, and happily snuggled into Yan Yan’s arms and fell asleep.
