Even when she called his na, he didn’t dare to respond, completely unlike the first day when he proactively approached her, saying she could co to him if she needed anything.
Yun Qiqi thought this might be what Shi Yunshen ant by superficial workplace relationships.
So in the end, she had no choice but to deliver it herself. After all, it wasn’t a big deal.
After delivering the docunts, she turned to leave.
The female accountant glanced at her cold deanor and, thinking about all the rumors about her, couldn’t help but snicker disdainfully in her heart.
Pretending to be so aloof? Isn’t she just Secretary Qin’s mistress?
She spoke up, "Hold on, Secretary Yun."
Yun Qiqi stopped and turned around, quietly looking at her.
The female accountant smiled and said, "We’re about to finish the eting soon, could you please help move these materials to the office?"
In front of her was a huge stack of materials and docunts.
Normally, this kind of work wouldn’t be assigned to won, because there’s really too much of it, and it would be impossible for them to move it all in one go.
People around them fell silent, so suspecting she was making things difficult for Yun Qiqi.
A male colleague nearby pulled her back, "Forget it, there’s too much stuff, plus she has other things to do," he then turned to Yun Qiqi, smiling, "Secretary Yun, you can head back first, I’ll take care of it later."
The female accountant forced a smile and said, "I didn’t think Secretary Yun was that busy, I often see her in the break room."
Yan Shi had several break rooms for people to rest, all stocked with different items. Yun Qiqi liked to eat and would often visit them.
Although none were as well-stocked as the 32nd floor, they weren’t without their rits either.
She didn’t know that because of this, many people in the company secretly gossiped that she was lazy.
Others didn’t realize she was so idle that she could only sit there and eat; they just assud she was slacking off.
Seeing her remain silent, the female accountant directly handed the materials to her.
"Here you go, Secretary Yun, thank you for your hard work."
She thought Yun Qiqi would be overwheld, but the young girl in front of her, expressionless, picked up all the docunts from the desk.
The guy next to her was about to lend a hand, but he saw her carrying them out the door.
That stack of docunts must have weighed twenty or thirty pounds, yet she carried it with an unfazed expression, her back straight and her steps light, as if she was holding just a couple of sheets of paper.
Everyone was stunned.
The guys watched her back in bewildernt.
They began whispering:
"Is she really that strong..."
"She looks so thin, I was worried the docunts would crush her."
Even the female accountant, who had been hoping to see her make a fool of herself, was taken aback. Hearing her male colleagues’ concerned words, she couldn’t help but grit her teeth, her expression darkening further.
Plenty of unmarried guys in their departnt worshipped Yun Qiqi as a goddess, and she couldn’t understand why; what made soone like that worthy of being called a goddess? Wasn’t she just a mistress who got in through connections?
Yun Qiqi didn’t feel like she was being challenged; this modest amount was a piece of cake for her.
She just assud the office was busy and needed an extra hand. After putting the things in place, she was about to leave when another girl ca over asking her to return to the eting room because they needed soone to take the financial statents up to Secretary Qin.
Yun Qiqi returned, thinking she’d see if there was anything else she could help with.
She felt uneasy collecting a salary without doing much, especially since she was always eating so much of the company’s food.
