In a large, simple room with dim lights and soft shadows dancing on the walls, a television flickered quietly in the corner. The news was playing—and not just on that channel, but on every single one. It was the sa story everywhere.

On the screen, a reporter held a mic and stood next to a man in a black suit and dark sunglasses. The man looked serious—older, maybe in his late forties—and clearly not in a good mood.

"So, what do you think? Was it worth the money?" the reporter asked.

The man didn’t even wait. He waved both his hands quickly and frowned.

"Definitely not! We paid three thousand dollars just to see her in person, and the fight barely lasted six seconds!" His voice was sharp and angry. "It’s daylight robbery!"

The reporter nodded, then stepped over to the next man, who stood just beside him.

"And you, sir? What’s your take on it?"

The second man sighed deeply, then stared at the cara with dazed, dreamy eyes.

"I think it was worth it… definitely worth it," he said, as if rembering the mont. "Damn, I wish it was who got hit by those breasts…"

He didn’t even try to hide it. His face was red, his eyes sparkling with weird joy.

———

anwhile, all of this was being watched by Scarlett herself.

She was lying on a big, comfy bed in a cozy countryside house. Her long purple hair spilled across the pillow like waves of silk. Her face was half-buried in the blanket, and even now, she wore her usual blindfold, which hid her mysterious eyes — one glowing red, the other a vibrant, electric blue. Very few people had ever seen them.

Her expression was full of regret, frustration, and total embarrassnt.

"Why… why did I do that?" she groaned into the bed, her voice muffled. "That was so cringe!"

She rolled over, kicking her legs like a frustrated kid, clearly struggling with the mory.

"I just wanted to show off a little to irish! I thought it'd be cool, If I use my psychokinesis by getting close hit him with an invisible barrier around ", she muttered to herself. "But nooo—I ended up slamming a guy with my boobs! What the hell was I thinking?!"

She turned over again, cheeks burning with sha.

The room she was in wasn’t her usual apartnt. It was much bigger, with old-fashioned furniture and wooden floors that creaked a little when stepped on.

Originally, Kozuha and their superior had planned to give Scarlett a traditional Japanese wooden house. But thinking that she might have ca from a dieval European world, they changed their minds and offered her a spacious, mansion-like house in the countryside. It wasn’t overly fancy, but it had a calm, warm feeling to it.

Scarlett sighed and grabbed the TV remote.

"Just change the channel. Please… anything but this!" she muttered as she clicked the button.

But what showed up on the next was sothing even more bizarre…

It was a live broadcast, and today’s guest was soone very familiar.

The host leaned back in his seat, holding the microphone comfortably in one hand.

“So, Aoi-chan, with your personal experience as one of the world’s top three hunters, what do you think is her special ability?” he asked in Japanese.

Since Scarlett was Japanese too, she understood every single word.

Sora Aoi turned to the cara with a serious face, as if she was about to reveal sothing as important as the fate of the world.

“I think her special ability is…”

Scarlett raised an eyebrow with curiosity. Even she started getting a little interested by Sora’s dramatic pause.

“I think her power lies in her boobs,” Sora said, completely serious.

“What the—” Scarlett froze, her mouth hanging open.

Even the host looked completely stunned. His expression was full of surprise and confusion.

But Sora didn’t stop there.

“Just think about it. When we fought, she just stood there, doing nothing. Then suddenly, a button flew off her clothes like a bullet and hit . It was because her boobs were under pressure! And that power—it wasn’t normal. Sothing unknown amplified it,” Sora explained.

“And then, with Mr. Daniel, she dropped to the ground… stayed still… and after a few monts, what did she attack with? Her boobs!”

She took a deep breath, then spoke again with complete confidence.

“I believe she stores energy in her breasts and releases it in a burst. And just look at them—they’re so big, so perfectly round, so… appealing. It’s not natural. How can soone look that beautiful? Even I, as a woman, feel my heart skip a beat when I look at her.”

Scarlett, watching all of this, had her eyes wide open. Her lips twitched and her face turned bright red with embarrassnt.

“What the hell are you saying?! How can soone be so wrong?!”

The host leaned forward thoughtfully. “You know… that actually might make sense…”

“Why are you agreeing with her now?!” Scarlett shouted and hurled a pillow straight at the TV.

The pillow hit the screen and bounced off, but Scarlett didn’t stop there. She grabbed the remote and quickly turned off the TV.

“Fuck, I’m not watching this anymore!” she muttered and buried her face into the blanket, her cheeks still burning.

After a while, Scarlett let out a deep sigh and slowly got up from the bed.

"Where’s Irish?" she thought, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she stepped out of the room.

She checked the kitchen, then peeked into the other rooms, but Irish was nowhere to be seen. Feeling a bit confused, Scarlett finally walked to the main door, twisted the knob, and stepped outside.

The moonlight gently touched her face, making her already beautiful features look even softer, almost glowing under the silver light. The cool breeze brushed past her, carrying the faint scent of fresh grass and the earth.

She walked through the small garden that surrounded the house, the grass soft under her bare feet. Flowers gently swayed with the wind, and everything felt calm and peaceful.

That’s when Scarlett saw her.

Just a few steps away, Irish was sitting near a small campfire. A few potatoes were roasting above the flas, their skins crackling softly in the heat.

“This isn’t a forest, Irish!” Scarlett called out with a tired smile as she walked over and sat down beside her.

“I know,” Irish replied, puffing out her cheeks. “I just felt like cooking sothing. It's better than using those weird kitchen machines, anyway!”

Scarlett chuckled softly but didn’t say anything more. The warmth of the fire was comforting.

Irish looked around and took a deep breath. “Besides, this place is much nicer. The other houses are far away, and it’s so quiet… peaceful too.”

“That’s true,” Scarlett agreed, nodding.

A soft silence fell between them. But it wasn’t awkward—it was warm, like the night sky above them. For once, it felt like nothing could go wrong.

But peace never lasted long in Scarlett’s life.

Ring!... Ring!... Ring!...

A sharp ringing sound broke through the night air, making Irish jump a little in surprise.

Scarlett, however, didn’t flinch. She calmly reached into her pocket and pulled out a sleek black smartphone.

“It’s just a communication device,” she said before answering the call.

“What is it? Why are you calling so late?” she asked, her voice calm but firm.

“Lady Scarlett, it’s an ergency!” ca Kozuha’s panicked voice from the other end. “We just detected hundreds of people heading your way!”

Scarlett’s eyes narrowed slightly. “What? Is it a terrorist attack?”

“I don’t think so,” Kozuha said quickly. “Sothing strange is going on. Multiple jail breaks happened today… all at once! All of them are heading toward you and Irish. Many of them are hunters. But… so of them—we don’t even know who they are.”

Her grip on the phone tightened.

“How do they even know where I am again?” she asked coldly.

“We don’t know… We really don’t,” Kozuha answered, her voice shaking. “But please, just hold out for a little while. We’re on our way too!”

Scarlett was silent for a mont. Then she asked in a low, serious voice, “Am I allowed to kill them?”

There was a pause.

Gulp.

Kozuha took a deep breath before answering, “Yes… you are. But please, try to leave at least one alive. We need to question them.”

Beep.

Scarlett ended the call and slowly turned to look at Irish, who had been watching her with wide eyes, waiting for an answer.

Scarlett let out another sigh as she stood up, brushing off the dirt from her clothes.

“I guess… it’s going to be a boring night after all,”

Scarlett had just finished speaking when a dark shadow suddenly stretched beneath her feet.

Without warning, an assassin burst out of the shadow, moving so fast it was almost a blur, a sharp blade aid straight at Scarlett’s chest.

But Irish moved even faster.

With a fierce shout, she spun around and delivered a powerful side kick toward the assassin. He barely managed to dodge, jumping back just in ti. He landed a few feet away and quickly created distance between them, breathing heavily.

"Tch… failed again!" he spat angrily, clenching his fists.

Irish narrowed her eyes and pointed at him. “It’s him! He’s the sa guy who attacked us last ti!”

Scarlett’s gaze darkened as she recognized the attacker too. It was the sa assassin who had ambushed them while they were on their way to the apartnt … the one who barely escaped with his life.

A smirk ford on Scarlett’s face as she stepped forward, cracking her knuckles. “Still hiding behind shadows, huh? Afraid to even show your face. What a coward you are.”

She slowly stretched her arms, completely calm and relaxed, like she wasn’t even worried. “Well, it doesn’t matter. You’re not walking away alive this ti.”

The assassin said nothing for a second. Then, with a sigh, he reached for his mask.

“I’m tired of sneak attacks too,” he said coldly.

As he removed the mask, both Scarlett and Irish froze.

Mouth slightly widened.

For a mont, everything felt still.

The soft sound of the campfire crackling, the wind rustling through the leaves… even those sounds seed to fade.

And then Scarlett finally spoke, her voice low and full of disbelief.

“…Arthur?”

Yes… it was him.

Arthur Mathew.

The world’s number one hunter. A living legend. Soone who once stood above everyone else. But now… sothing about him felt off. His presence was heavy, cold.

He didn’t even reply to Scarlett’s stunned voice. Instead, he just scoffed, as if seeing her face ant nothing to him.

“Whatever,” he muttered, sounding tired and distant. “I’ll have a better start next ti.”

Before either Scarlett or Irish could move, he raised a sleek, sharp katana and—without hesitation—placed it against his neck.

Then in one quick, clean motion—

Swishh…

Blood sprayed out like a fountain as his head fell clean off, landing on the ground with a soft, sickening thud.

Both girls froze.

Scarlett's eyes widened. Her mouth opened slightly, but no words ca out.

Irish’s face went pale as she stared, unable to believe what she had just witnessed.

“What the…?” Scarlett whispered, She didn’t even know what to do. She didn’t understand.

Why would Arthur…?

But then, In Arthur’s lifeless body, several notifications appeared in his status screen.
