Compared to Daniu’s sowhat nervous deanor, once ng Yunzheng took over, he appeared much more at ease.
He didn’t need the abacus at all; as soon as a custor quoted a number, he could calculate the amount instantly. His speed was so surprising that the custors didn’t believe it, and only after using an abacus themselves and confirming the result, did they marvel, “With such a variety of items, you calculated it instantly. Amazing.”
ng Yunzheng chuckled, “I practiced since childhood.”
The person wanted to say more, but the custors behind were already urging him to move.
ng Yunzheng was not only fast at accounting but also had the bandwidth to chat with custors and introduce products while calculating.
Daniu stood beside him passing wooden tokens, utterly amazed. No wonder he was known as the local scholar, having aced his exams.

Half the day passed, and the first and third prizes still hadn’t been drawn.

So when she saw Shu Yu return, she bid her goodbye.
