Shu Yu and the old lady chatted for a while, and soon they heard cheerful voices outside.
She got up to look, and to her surprise, the first to return was her elder sister, Shuyou, with a lively little fellow in her arms, who was so energetic that Shuyou almost couldn’t hold him, and she was sweating on her forehead.
"Yu," Shuyou happily stepped forward a few steps, and the child in her arms suddenly jumped, making it hard for her to hold on.
Shu Yu quickly ca up and took the child over.
"Little Huohuo?" As soon as she held him, Shu Yu felt a heavy weight in her hands, this little guy was quite hefty.
Shuyou let out a long breath and shook her hands, "This little rascal is too lively."
Shu Yu and the child stared at each other. The last ti she left, this child was not even two months old, and now he was over eight months.
Kids really grow fast, in over half a year, he’d grown chubby and fair, bursting with energy.
Little Huohuo was not shy; he was not fussy at all while being held by Shu Yu. He even kept snuggling into her arms, babbling, and before long, left a puddle of drool on her front.
Shu Yu, "..." I just got back, and you’re giving such a precious gift?
She bounced the little guy in her arms, and Little Huohuo just laughed incessantly.
Shu Yu chuckled, "He’s in a very good mood."
"You haven’t seen him in a bad mood, crying his heart out, almost driving his dad crazy." Shuyou said with a helpless smile, "You’re good with kids. Anyone else tries to hold him, he won’t have it, but as soon as he sees you, he burrows right into your arms."
Shu Yu was delighted, "Of course, our Little Huohuo is close to his Aunt, right?"
Hearing his na, the little guy looked up, babbled a couple of sounds, and then burst into laughter, utterly joyful.
At this mont, Shu Rui and the others rushed over after hearing the commotion, and Dabao was the first to reach out wanting to hold him.
Unexpectedly, the little guy glanced at them, turned his head silently, hugged Shu Yu’s neck, and pointed his bottom at them, sticking it out.
Then, with a "poof," he let out a loud fart.
Everyone, "..."
Shuyou, "I wasn’t wrong, was I?"
"So stinky, so stinky! You did that on purpose and farted directly at us!" Erniu exclaid.
Shu Rui backed away a few steps, "I’m your legitimate uncle; I just got back, and this is how you welco ? Little Huohuo, you don’t rember ?"
"Huohuo, you pooped."
As soon as these words ca out, whether the little guy understood them or not, he turned his head, looked at the three of them, and went, "ya, ah, wah, pah, poof poof," spouting all sorts of single syllables, clearly ready for an argunt.
Dabao made a face, "Huohuo, what are you saying? We can’t hear you clearly. You should clarify a bit. Trying to argue when you can’t articulate yourself? Have so self-awareness."
Little Huohuo paused for a mont, then went "wah, ya, poof" even more angrily.
Dabao laughed, "What are you saying? Can’t understand. Huohuo, you’re not up to it."
Little Huohuo was so furious he started bouncing, but he suffered from being too young to speak. After several attempts, he got anxious that he couldn’t win the argunt, and then burst into tears with a "wah."
Dabao was dumbfounded. That’s not how this was supposed to play out.
The old lady smacked him, "Have so sha, bickering with a baby who can’t even speak clearly. You’re his uncle, you’re the elder, quickly apologize."
