Today Yu went up the mountain to offer sacrifices to our ancestors, and after coming down she proposed repairing the ancestral tomb; everyone feels Yu is filial and grateful.”
Shu Yu might not care about her own reputation, like how she took an axe and ran to the Ruan family to cause trouble, indifferent to being labeled unfilial.
But Lu Erbai, being her father, doesn’t think the sa way. Yu is coming of age soon, followed by marriage; the refurbishnt of the ancestral tomb would only be beneficial for her.
