Zhou Gu’er thought Zhou i was being rather naive. ’Why would she think I’d listen to her?’ But Zhou Gu’er also knew she had been too weak in her past life. Anyone could bully her, and Zhou i clearly thought she was an easy target.

Zhou i looked smugly at Zhou Gu’er, convinced she must be terrified.
To be honest, Zhou Gu’er had been beaten many tis in her past life, but always by her own family. No outsider had ever bullied her like this.

Zhou Gu’er said sharply. ’So this is what it feels like to fight back. It isn’t as hard as I thought. If I’d had this courage in my past life, if I’d stood up for myself, maybe Zhang Da wouldn’t have beaten like that.’

Zhou i and the other girls were dumbfounded. Zhou Feng’er was Zhou Gu’er’s sister! In the Zhou family, her status was much higher than Zhou Gu’er’s. ’She even hit Zhou Feng’er? Has she gone mad? Isn’t she afraid of the trouble she’ll be in when she gets ho?’
Zhou Gu’er ignored the crying Zhou Feng’er and yanked Zhou i towards her.
"Are you going to right my wheelbarrow or not?"
Zhou Gu’er had exploded today. She couldn’t worry about the consequences. All she knew was that she wouldn’t be bullied in this life. She had to be strong.
"I won’t! What are you two waiting for? Are you dead? Help , hit her."
Unwilling to admit defeat, Zhou i shouted with all her might.
Zhou Ya and the other girl saw this and hurried forward.
Zhou Gu’er knew she couldn’t handle three people at once. She had only gotten the upper hand because they hadn’t expected her to fight back, catching them by surprise.
Seeing them approach, Zhou Gu’er grabbed Zhou i by her long braid.

"Are you going to right my wheelbarrow or not?"
she asked, her expression cold and fierce, making it clear that if they didn’t comply, she would pull even harder.
"We’ll do it, we’ll do it! Let go, it hurts so much!"
Tears welled up in Zhou i’s eyes. She had given in. She had no choice; her hair was in the other girl’s hands.
"Are you two dead? Hurry up and right the wheelbarrow!"
Seeing that Zhou Gu’er still hadn’t let go, Zhou i frantically shouted at Zhou Ya and the other girl.
Zhou Ya and the other girl were still stunned. They only snapped out of it when Zhou i yelled, and they scrambled to right the wheelbarrow.
Zhou Feng’er was crouched on the ground in a daze, tears still wet on her cheeks. She stared at the formidable Zhou Gu’er. ’Is this really my older sister, the one who was always bullied? Did soone replace her? Am I dreaming? It must be a dream. Otherwise, how could Zhou Gu’er be so fierce?’
