At this very mont, caught between two waves of attackers, Farna Kegris found herself in the most perilous situation of her life.

She tightened her grip on her wand, her gaze growing colder and sharper by the second.

In the next instant, she raised her wand and whispered coldly,

“Co.”

“Roar......”

Boom!

Flas and hordes of magical beasts collided in a chaotic storm, and a brutal battle erupted.

......

“Roar!”

More and more magical beasts converged from the distance.

Even though they watched their kin at the frontlines fall one after another, instinct drove them to charge forward relentlessly, wave after wave.

“The number of them is truly absurd.”

Hulim Heyerar said in her usual calm tone.

She waved her wand.

BOOM——!

A powerful shockwave erupted from her position, radiating outward in all directions at breakneck speed.

Every magical beast caught in the blast was sent flying instantly, then disintegrated into ash under the purifying power of light-elent magic.

The shockwave surged onward, reaching even the beasts far in the distance. The once-blocked corridor cleared up in the blink of an eye.

“Finally, I can move forward.”

Hulim lowered her wand and pressed on. Wherever she stepped, so of the Magic Stones scattered on the ground lifted off automatically and flew into her backpack.

A few minutes later, Hulim reached another Seal Chamber without encountering any further obstacles.

She paused at the doorway, her expression turning grave.

She didn’t even need to step inside to know what awaited her there.

She lifted her hand and cast a spell.

Boom!

Before the magical beasts inside the chamber could even react, they were wiped out in an instant.

Once the room was cleared, Hulim stepped inside and approached the sa type of wall as before.

The scene was almost identical to the first chamber: the wall was crisscrossed with cracks, and the crystal orb embedded in it was completely shattered.

This Seal Chamber had also lost all of its functions.

“So this is the worst-case scenario......”

Hulim muttered under her breath.

And it wasn’t just the broken seal that troubled her. Even if a safe haven lost its barrier and repelling effect, it shouldn’t attract such a large congregation of High-Rank Magical Beasts. This unnatural phenonon bore the distinct mark of deliberate manipulation.

Hulim chose not to waste ti attempting to repair the seal.

There was no point in it. Right now, there was a far more critical place she needed to check.

Her gaze drifted downward.

Or rather, it drifted toward the deepest depths of the dungeon.

The Core Seal Chamber.

That was the true heart of the entire sealed dungeon—the most important place of all.

......

The final floor of the Karimal Sealed Dungeon.

Tap.

A single footstep echoed through the air, then fell silent.

Standing at the entrance to the final floor, Hulim stared into the darkness ahead.

“There are quite a few dangerous auras lingering here......”

“Just as I thought—the number of Rank A beasts has increased as well.”

She lingered at the entrance for a mont, then stepped forward without hesitation, entering the final floor.

Tap, tap......

Her footsteps echoed through the vast, silent underground space, shattering the stagnant, tomb-like atmosphere.

In the darkness, countless pairs of eyes locked onto her, and the air began to hum with restless energy.

It wasn’t long before—

BOOM!

A deafening explosion shook the final floor of the sealed dungeon......

Hulim ca to a stop before a massive stone gate.

She lifted her head and gazed quietly at the towering barrier before her.

After a brief pause, she extended her right hand and touched the gate.

RUMBLE!

With a thunderous roar, the colossal gate slowly slid open to both sides, revealing an impossibly vast chamber beyond.

Without a mont’s hesitation, Hulim stepped into the room.

Squeak~!

As soon as she crossed the threshold, the massive stone gate behind her began to close slowly.

THUD!

The gate slamd shut with a resounding crash, sealing off the corridor littered with the remains of magical beasts behind her.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh......

Clusters of eerie, cold blue flas flared to life along the walls, spreading steadily toward the depths of the chamber.

At the sa ti, a colossal figure slumbering in the darkness began to stir......

“Hiss... hiss...”

A chilling sound of a serpent’s tongue flicking in and out echoed through the dim chamber, as if a massive cold-blooded creature was writhing just out of sight.

THUD!

A heavy footstep shook the ground.

The giant beast sleeping in the depths of the chamber rose to its feet, its front claws shattering the stone slabs beneath them.

Then—

“ROAR——!!!”

A terrifying, thunderous roar shook the entire chamber.

The walls, ceiling, and floor trembled violently from the force of the sound.

After a long mont, the roar finally faded away.

WHOOSH——!

A fierce gust of wind howled toward her from the darkness ahead.

CRASH——!

A heavy thud echoed right in front of her as the colossal beast descended from the depths of the chamber, landing before Hulim.

Hulim slowly lifted her head, her eyes locking onto the creature’s full form.

“A Chira......”

The lion’s scarlet eyes and the serpent’s erald pupils on its tail—a total of four eyes—fixed on the intruder with predatory intent.

Then,

the lion’s head opened its massive jaws wide and inhaled sharply.

Hulim felt an overwhelming suction force threatening to yank her off her feet and into its maw. The hem of her robes flapped wildly in the gale.

Yet no matter how violently her clothes billowed, her body remained rooted to the spot, as if fused with the ground beneath her, completely unmoved by the raging wind.

“You’re planning to use your breath attack?”

she said calmly.

“But—”

“Your movents are far too slow.”

HUM——!

Hulim raised her wand and cast a spell at lightning speed. A magic array unfurled instantly overhead.

BOOM!

A massive torrent of water gushed forth from the array, crashing directly onto the Chira below.

Caught completely off guard while mid-preparation for its breath attack, the Chira had the flood of water forced down its throat.

“Gurgle~! Glurp!”

Its breath attack was abruptly cut short. The lion’s body even began to choke and sputter, coughing up water uncontrollably. But Hulim knew full well that drowning the Chira through just one of its heads was impossible.

The proof was in the serpent’s head on its tail: despite the lion’s clumsy flailing, it remained eerily still, its erald eyes fixed intently on Hulim.

If she mistook the lion’s disarray for an opening and rushed in to attack, she would have walked straight into a trap.

“If you’re going to play such cheap tricks, at least have the decency to make your tail put on a better show of panicking.”

HUM! HUM! HUM......

A series of magic arrays unfolded in front of Hulim.

Seeing this, the lion’s head—which had looked so helpless just a mont ago—suddenly regained its composure, its scarlet eyes blazing with rage as it glared at Hulim.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM......

A volley of massive light beams streaked forth from the arrays.

The Chira flapped its wings frantically, darting upward into the air to put distance between itself and Hulim.

Contrary to its colossal size, it displayed astonishing agility.

The incoming attacks brushed past its claws and tail, failing to land a single hit.

“Truly worthy of being one of the highest-tier Rank A Magical Beasts. Its strength is on a completely different level from those outside.”

Hulim murmured a faint note of admiration at the Chira’s display of power, but she showed no hint of surprise. She simply continued to unleash a relentless barrage of spells, pressing the attack......

Gradually, the Chira—hounded relentlessly by the onslaught of magic—felt a surge of fury well up within it. While it couldn’t compare to the likes of the Hydra, one of the most powerful creatures in the Demon Realm, it was still an extrely high-ranking beast. How dare this puny human treat it with such disdain?

“ROAR——!”

As it roared continuously, the air around it began to vibrate violently, rippling outward in layers of black energy that wrapped around its body like a set of protective shields.

BOOM!

When Hulim’s magical attacks struck these black rippling barriers, they detonated on contact, and the force of the explosions was completely contained outside the shields.
