Watching the boundless vitality blazing like flas around Irus,

Darius let out a sudden cold sneer.

"Foolish, laughable words."

"Do you truly think such drivel can shake my resolve or alter the way things stand?"

"What did you say?"

"The one who’s dreaming... is you!"

As Darius spoke, he jabbed a finger toward the World Tree.

"So what if you’ve regained the World Tree’s blessing? Right now, I don’t need any outside power to destroy that tree. What can you—its asly blessed one—possibly do to stop ?"

Irus froze, a flicker of surprise darting across her eyes.

She vaguely realized sothing crucial,

and a plan quickly took shape in her mind...

She gasped in feigned shock and exclaid,

"Destroy the World Tree? That’s impossible! No one can destroy the World Tree with brute strength alone!"

"Heh, no one?"

Darius sounded as if he’d just heard the most absurd joke in existence.

The terrifying mana within his body surged outward like a tidal wave.

Under the crushing pressure, Irus was forced to step back again and again.

Darius lifted his right hand.

Whoosh!

From far away, a demonic spear ca hurtling through the air,

snapped firmly into his grasp.

"Then let your own eyes witness the chasm between your power and mine!"

As the words left his lips,

the terrifying mana coiled inward violently.

The demonic spear humd unceasingly, as if it could barely withstand the overwhelming pressure coursing through it.

Irus plastered a look of panic on her face. She darted forward in an instant, positioning herself between Darius and the World Tree, and assud her strongest defensive stance.

Darius watched it all unfold, not making the slightest move to stop her—there was even a hint of undisguised disdain in his eyes.

"Die!"

BOOM!!!

With a deafening roar, he unleashed a devastating strike, aid straight at Irus and the World Tree behind her.

Irus took a deep breath, her gaze locked intently on Darius’s movents.

Just as the attack was about to hit her—

Whoosh!

She vanished from the spot in the blink of an eye.

CRASH!

The blow slamd into the World Tree without any hindrance whatsoever.

Its terrifying power tore a gaping wound in the tree’s trunk, which continued to smolder with black smoke.

"Huh???"

"Huh???"

"......"

At that mont,

it wasn’t just Darius who stood frozen in stunned silence—everyone who witnessed the scene was left dumbfounded.

The Saintess of the World Tree had actually...

while she was supposed to be protecting the World Tree...

run away?

......

"It seems you truly know nothing at all."

Irus, completely unhard, drifted back to her previous position.

Gone was the panic she’d feigned earlier; in its place was utter composure, even a look of absolute confidence in victory.

Darius, however, didn’t find any trace of humor in what he’d initially taken for a prank. On the contrary, ever since his attack had struck the World Tree, a vague yet intense sense of unease had been gnawing at his heart.

"What... what have you done?"

Darius asked in a deep, solemn voice.

"?" Irus shook her head. "I’ve done nothing. Because the one who took action... was you."

"Darius, haven’t you ever wondered about sothing?"

Irus said slowly and deliberately.

"Why, after so many wars against the Demon Lord—wars where we were pushed to the brink of annihilation ti and ti again—has the World Tree, the very lifeblood of this world, always remained unscathed?"

"......"

At her words, Darius’s brow furrowed deeply.

"What exactly are you trying to say?"

"Heh~."

Irus let out a soft chuckle.

She slowly raised a single finger in front of her.

"Let tell you a secret."

"The World Tree is not completely devoid of offensive power."

Whoosh~.

A fierce gale suddenly swept across the sky.

By the ti people noticed, it was as if all the mana in the world was surging toward the World Tree, forming an unprecedented mana tempest.

Irus’s voice, now laced with a strange, otherworldly resonance, cut through the wind, each word ringing loud and clear in Darius’s ears.

"There is only one condition under which it awakens."

"The World Tree possesses a single, absolutely invincible offensive ability."

"And the only trigger for this ability is—"

"Sustaining damage from a power that exceeds the threat level of this world."

Hum!!!

As her words faded, the mana gathered by the World Tree reached its peak in that very instant.

The ominous premonition in Darius’s heart surged to its zenith without warning.

He swung his spear to attack.

But his strike was easily suppressed by an invisible barrier of force.

Just as he stood there, shocked and confused,

Irus slowly raised her right hand toward the sky, a serene smile playing on her lips as she said:

"Farewell, Darius."

"World Tree—awaken!"

"Tree Realm Descent!!!"

BOOM!!!

A brilliant green halo erupted violently from the World Tree as its epicenter, spreading outward to engulf the entire world.

In the blink of an eye,

the green halo streaked across the skies of every corner of the globe. Countless lives across the land bore witness to this breathtaking spectacle.

But this was rely the beginning.

The green halo was nothing more than a signal to summon the true attack.

Once the summoning was initiated,

an unimaginable power descended...

A vast torrent of erald light cascaded down from the infinitely distant heavens.

The people of the Himril Main Continent all raised their heads,

united in witnessing this unprecedented celestial wonder. Not a single soul among them could fathom what the colossal green pillar of light, piercing heaven and earth, truly signified.

Zzzzt... Zzzzt... Zzzzt...

Above the Mirnabith Mountains,

a hidden continent, concealed in a pocket dinsion, was forced to reveal itself under the interference of this descending power.

The Celestial Realm—a legendary land revered and yearned for by countless people—suddenly materialized before the world in this manner, hovering silently in the sky above the Mirnabith Mountains.

Beneath the World Tree,

after his attack failed, Darius knew his fate had been sealed the mont he’d wounded the World Tree.

He could not resist—all his power was locked down tight.

He could not escape—the entire world lay within the range of the attack.

As this tangible specter of death lood before him, Darius felt surprisingly calm, devoid of any emotion whatsoever.

This was what they ant by "heaven one mont, hell the next."

One second, he’d been intoxicated by the thrill of his own overwhelming strength; the next, it had vanished like a fleeting bubble, gone without a trace.

BOOM!!!

The green torrent engulfed Darius’s body completely.

He did not die imdiately. Instead, he felt as if he’d been cast into a bizarre, boundless void.

"Wha... what is this place?"

In the endless emptiness, he stared blankly at the sight before him, his mind adrift.

It was a scene beyond all comprehension,

so awe-inspiring that it robbed him of all words.

Compared to this indescribable existence, he was no more than a speck of dust.

All his past deeds, all his glories, paled into insignificance in the face of this power—they seed so laughable, so utterly... aningless.

A single tree root extended from the void,

brushing gently against his body.

Pop!

In the span of a single instant,

his body, his power, his soul—everything that constituted his existence—swelled up like a balloon and then exploded with a deafening crack.

After that, no trace of him remained in the world. It was as if he had never existed at all...

The colossal green pillar of light, spanning heaven and earth, slowly faded away.

The overwhelming power lingered for only a brief mont before retreating once more.

But the shock it left in the hearts of all who witnessed it would be etched into their mories forever, never to be forgotten.

......

At the edge of Tiramsuin,

Terra stood silently, gazing at the World Tree in the distance, her thoughts a mystery.

Behind her, Helim murmured softly:

"That... is the World Tree’s ultimate ability—the Tree Realm Descent."

"I never thought I’d live to see the day."

"None of that matters anymore," said Soto. "The power has already receded, but its arrival has exposed Tiramsuin. We must hurry—we cannot let them seize this opportunity."

"Do we really need to worry so much?" retorted another voice. "If anyone’s panicking right now, it’s them, not us. They’ll probably be too scared to show their faces for a long while."

"We must not let our guard down," warned Taita. "Never place your faith in luck."

"Taita is right," agreed Michester.

"Fine, fine—you guys win," sighed Soto, throwing his hands up in defeat.

A short while later,

ripples spread across the borders of Tiramsuin, and the hidden continent vanished once again from the sky above the Mirnabith Mountains.

Everything in the Himril world seed to return to normal.
