At a glance, there were more than seven bottles. Each one more unique than the other.
"Ah, Sir Reinhardt, you have arrived. Co, co, sit there."
Boulevard was looking all excited to get this drinking party started.
"You don’t need to push ."
lissa brought him to a seat opposite of her husband and made him sit next to her. She had gotten so comfortable with him that she did not mind his hands touching hers or her breasts rubbing against his arms.
"Oh? Lord Reinhardt, you brought snacks huh. I was thinking about asking a maid to bring sothing. Good thing you brought it. I’ll go and serve it on a plate".
lissa quickly disappeared inside her quarters and ca back with a number of plates, all decorated with the snacks that Reinhardt brought.
"Haha, now it’s starting to look like a party. Should we start this then?"
Just as Boulevard was about to pour everyone a drink, lissa suddenly stopped him.
"Ah, wait a minute. I think I bought a set of glass recently. Let bring it out, it will set the mood" She went inside again before coming back with a set of intricate looking drinking glasses.
"Excellent idea, it’s Sir Reinhardt we are drinking with. Ordinary cups won’t do, we need sothing good to match his stature."
While Boulevard was all praise for his wife, Reinhardt looked at the glasses brought by lissa with so suspicion in his eyes.
[Eyes of Divine Clarity] activated, and he quickly understood what was going on and what ga this woman was playing.
"Fine alcohol, snacks, ice, and soda, we have everything now. Let’s start this party." Given how excited he was, one could easily see that Boulevard was quite the drunkard.
"Which one would lord Reinhardt like to drink?"
"Whichever you recomnd," It was not like he was going to get drunk anyway.
"Hmm, then this should be the one, the most premium of allm that I bought from a rchant who ca back from the kingdom of Lunaris."
The alcohol Marquis Boulevard pointed out did look quite exotic. The latter quickly poured three glasses half soda half scotch with ice.
"Cheers, everyone!!" Reinhardt took his and clinked glasses with the couple.
Gulp... Gulp... Marquis Boulevard drank his in a few big gulps while he and lissa took small sips and savoured the taste of the alcohol. That’s right, although he cannot get drunk, he can at least taste it.
That said, drinking weird tasting drinks that burns your throat without getting any intoxication in return was just a waste of ti. Nevertheless, even if this was a waste of ti, he had to play this ga.
"Ohh~ Haha, didn’t know it was this strong. Definitely good stuff".
Having finished drinking the contents of his glass, Boulevard shook his head, feeling the effect of the alcohol imdiately take effect.
"You should take another one husband, you are a strong drinker after all, you can manage it" lissa encouraged her husband to drink another shot.
"Right, it seems like you two haven’t finished, so don’t mind going for another".
While they could finish theirs, Boulevard poured himself another one.
"Unnghh~ You two continue drinking. My body is all sweaty from the work, I’ll go and bathe first. After that, I’ll join you guys," lissa suddenly stood up, having finished her shot.
"Alright, in any case, I have Sir Reinhardt to accompany ."
Boulevard didn’t mind her getting up in the middle of the drinking to go take a bath.
Reinahrdt wanted to complain why she was leaving him with her weird husband. However, he had no choice; he had to play the ga, the board that she set.
And so while lissa headed inside her room to go take a rinse, they continued drinking.
"Ah, Sir Reinhardt, what do you think of the taste of this alcohol?"
On his way to the fourth shot, the marquis made so small talk.
"Hmm, it has a lightly peaty and oaky taste," Reinhardt answered, moving the contents of his glass and tasting it. This was his second shot.
"Ah, please excuse , I need to go take a leak."
Following the textbook tactic, he asked to be excused for a while from the husband who seed to be a little sleepy, and made his way to where their bathroom was.
SHHH... wet sound of water sprinkling entered Reinhardt’s ears. In front of him, just adjacent to the toilet, was the bathroom. The frosted glass door had a small opening just enough to give others a view of the paradise like scene inside.
Reinhardt smiled; it was plainly obvious what was going on. The board, the pieces, everything was set; now it was ti to make the move.
"Ah, the toilet is here," He made his voice known and pretended that he was going to the toilet. While in reality his body was slowly inching closer to the frosted glass door of the bathroom, and peeked inside.
