"It is about ti for the Seven Great Rankings to change as well," Reinhardt grinned.
It was plainly obvious that this was a ploy from the Council to push Reinhardt and his knight order out of the Seven Great Rankings.
The Temple of Light had been at the tail’s end of the Seven Great Knight Orders for a couple of years now. However, it was ti they showed the kingdom that their conception was misguided and reclaid their position among the top three orders once again.
"Are you all ready to showcase the brilliance of the Temple of Light?"
[Voice of Providence] activated. His voice thundered across the grounds, his hair catching the morning sun like a beacon if light.
"My knights!! Following the years I fell ill, you all have been mocked. Forgotten and cast to the last of the seven. They called our knight order relics of a bygone age, said our light had dimd, and that our ti had passed. However, let ask you all, does the sun ever forget how to rise?!"
Reinhardt’s fierce eyes swept across the assembled knights, his presence and words giving them a dose of adrenaline.
"You have all endured well. However, it all stops from today. On the coming Magic Knight Entrance Exam, we will show the kingdom the power of our knight order and the Oath of Steel that we carry in our hearts. Are you all ready to burn the radiance of the Temple of Light to the eyes of all the observers?"
YEAAHHHH...A roar surged from the knights. Reinhardt’s words, further bolstered by the [Voice of Providence], managed to get all of them riled up.
By the ti they were dismissed, they were unable to contain their excitent.

"You really were right. This year’s Magic Entrance Exam turned out to be different from the previous years," Vangeance spoke with an excited face.
As a knight of the Temple of Light who had seen the previous glory of their order, long had he wanted to restore it to its forr reputation. Finally, that chance was in front of him.
The others too matched his level of fervor. They might have been in the order for only over a year, but they had fallen in love with the atmosphere and environnt the Temple of Light offered.
Sure, the Commander could be a demon with his training at tis, and his rules strict. However, those very things shaped their character, body, and skills.
Unlike other knight orders, such as the Royal Lion Guards or the Thunderspirit Brigade, which recruited only nobles, or the Knights of the Enduring Spirits, entirely comprised of commoners and peasants, the Temple of Light had people from all walks of life.
Peasants, nobles, forr criminals, or even forr enemies, the order accepted them all.
The squad firmly believed that the Temple of Light did not deserve to be at the tail end of the Seven Great Knight Orders.
"It’s good that you all are eager for the event. However, I should remind you that this is the first and last opportunity for the Temple of Light to gain its reputation back. I’m sure the battle will be broadcast all around the kingdom"...
"Right now, the Temple of Light is hanging onto its status as one of the Seven Great Knight Orders only because of the Commander’s reputation and level. All the high ranking knights in the order know this. We need to pull our weight, too. As such, I suggest a training session."
With three days to go, Gwen proposed a combined training session. They gathered all the other mbers of the order and even involved the Holy Knights.

Tap... Tap... Tap...
In a dimly lit hall, the sound of fingers hitting the table could be heard intermittently.
"They are late. Why is there no news yet? My daughter is useless too. She can’t even find a single weakness that man has. Dammit, if I ss even this up, that lord will not spare ."
A middle aged man with long, greying hair spoke, his expression masked with unease and distress. He was the master of the mansion and a high profile noble of the kingdom. A person who was highly respected and commanded a great deal of influence, he was Earl Malmond.
Additionally, he was also lissa’s father, the one who had sent her to work for the Divine Paladin and spy on him.
A transmission disc was in his hand, clutched tightly as he anxiously waited for it to buzz.
"Kekeke... Why are you so nervous, Earl?"
Suddenly, a voice crept in from sowhere unknown, and a shadow materialized on his balcony. Jagged horns, crimson eyes, and a body covered in black fur, the being was none other than a demon, and not just any demon, but a high ranking one at that.
"You... How dare you appear in my estate so openly? Do you know who I am? A vile demon..."
"Drop the act. I erected a barrier around your room. Rest assured that no one can hear or even feel our presence."
Just as the demon said, the knights outside continued their routine patrol, completely unaware of its presence. The demon’s ability to sneak in despite such heavy security only made Earl Malmond more certain of his choice.
’Humanity cannot defeat the demons. I did the best thing by joining the other side. The ancient records were right.’ He thought inside his head.
"Didn’t that lord say we would communicate only through the device? You being here is disobeying their instructions."
Earl Malmond dropped his act. In fact, given how casually he was speaking with a demon when most people would have fainted at the sight, it was clear this was not their first encounter.
