One move, all it took from Reinhardt was a single attack to pletely overwhelm the six knight orders.
"So what’s your next move?"
He questioned, looking at the five figures that managed to dodge the reflected maelstrom of skill at the very last second. Needless to say, these five figures were the knight manders of their respective orders.
As for the last one...
The sword in his hand flew out and intercepted an enemy that tried to go after the crystal in the midst of the chaos.
Space distorted, and a figure appeared a couple of feet away from the crystal.
With silver gleaming armor and a noble appearance, he was none other than the mander of the Silver Tempest.
"A skill that allows you to cover your presence with the wind, being untraceable."
As it turns out, the Silver Tempest mander was using his wind skill that gave him a stealth like ability to try and destroy his crystal.
That’s right, it was not like they needed to defeat him head on. The event was set up in a way that simply breaking the crystal would make them the winner.
If the crystal was broken, the Temple of Light would be disqualified and their position replaced. It was the same as defeating him.
What they wanted was not to beat him down, but to crush his status and curb his influence as one of the Seven Great Knight manders.
The Silver Tempest mander was so close to the crystal. Too bad for the guy, Reinhardt didn’t even need to face him directly; just a simple thought and the application of the [Limitless] was enough to intercept him.
"It looks like going for the crystal won’t be easy."
"Tch, even if he has fallen from grace, he was once a level 10 hero. I guess the skills he cultivated aren’t just for show."
"It might be going against their orders, but how about we just focus on breaking the crystal. I don’t believe even the Divine Paladin can continuously use that ridiculous counter skill. If we can keep him busy even for a second, that guy can take the crystal out in an instant."
The six knight manders regrouped. Their order was to defeat the Divine Paladin in the live telecast and destroy his reputation and status that he enjoys in front of all the people of the kingdom.
However, after exhaling a couple of blows against the man, they fully understood why he was considered a legend.
Far from making him lose his reputation, they were simply increasing it more. Defeating him did not sound plausible. However, if it was destroying his crystal, it was still in the realm of possibility; after all, they had the backup from that man.
"Are you all done with your planning and scheming? If so, then e," Reinhardt, standing in front of the crystal, slowly called out. He did not attack them, nor did he stop them from cooking their little scheme.
He simply stood in his place without taking a single step from start to finish.
While the six manders felt extremely annoyed by his blatant condescension, they knew he had the power to back up his arrogance.
"His arrogance works for us. Let’s show him our powers."
The six of them nodded and moved as one.
The mander of the Silver Tempest raised a powerful gust in his wake as he phased out of visibility and appeared beside the Divine Paladin, his speed extremely fast.
"[Windstep - Razor Cyclone.]"
Wind from all around the area converged around the blade of his sword, manifesting what looked like a sword made of cyclone.
SWOOSH... The cloud above parted; no, it looked like they were cut in half when the knight raised his sword up.
From this, it could be seen how powerful the skill was. However, in front of such a power, Reinhardt was still nonchalant. He simply stabbed forth with his sword, tapping at the weak point of the other party’s sword technique, thus nullifying their cyclone sword.
Indeed, the skill was powerful; however, the sword technique executed by the knight was weak and honestly riddled with gaps.
Cyclone Sword, which could even cut through the clouds above, missed its mark. In the same breath, Reinhardt swung his foot, planting a kick on the side of the knight’s ribcage.
The mander of the Silver Tempest flew out like a ragdoll.
CRACK... CRACK... in the same instant, large cracks formed on the ground beneath him, and through the crevice, rose a destructive shockwave.
Usually, even an elite knight would avoid getting hit by the attack head on. However, Reinhardt did not care; he simply stomped on the ground with equal force, thus easily nullifying the shockwave.
"Haaah!! Eat this, [Tremor Pulse]."
The mander of the Ironhound Legion immediately rushed out after his failed attempt to catch the Divine Paladin off guard.
Rocks stuck to his body like magnets, and a sphere of pure destructive force condensed to the maximum, formed around his fist.
Seeing this, a fierce smile also crept on Reinhardt’s lips, and he punched out. [Godhand Ascendance] First Technique showed its power.
BANG... Two fists collided, there was no flair, no intense shockwave, just a simple, pure white ripple formed in the air.
The ripple that was formed did not possess any destructive characteristics; however, space folded wherever the ripple passed.
SPLAT...
Following that, there was a disturbing noise as the big, burly hands of the Ironhound mander were severely deformed. Blood sprayed out from the pores, and he was sent back flying.
Then, within that same second, the first technique of the [Godhand Ascendance] transitioned into the third technique, sending a palm of energy through the ground.
Immediately, all the clones of the mander of the Obsidian Fangs were crushed along with the numerous vines that were about to creep out of the crevice.
While he engaged the four manders himself, his sword flew out and targeted the mander of the Ashen Choir and Crimson Halbers, stopping them from using their annoying sound and weapon telekinesis skills.
