After Lan Xu spoke, Dai Yixin walked up, “I checked your profile last time. Though you’ve been a screenwriter once, you were never signed by Sky Entertainment and you are for sure only doing scriptwriting as a side hustle. Under those conditions, you do not meet the criteria to attend today’s party.”
“However, since you’ve contributed to the pany somewhat, I won’t stop you. Perhaps this is your first time attending an event like this, so you don’t know the rules. Know that there will be many celebrities ing. Follow the policy and don’t make a fuss. Or else... Huh?”
Before she could finish, Qiao Qing had already surpassed her and entered the party hall. Qiao Qing didn’t even acknowledge her existence.
Dai Yixin’s face turned green.
Lan Xu quickly forted her, “Director Dai, don’t be so serious against someone so rude. It’s good that she’s not listening to you. She won’t follow the rules later and she might offend some hot-shots, like actor Yi.”
“When that happens, those celebrities will blacklist her! After all, she’s only good at car racing or martial arts. Her celebrity status is not at all in line with other celebrities.”
Dai Yixin thought about it and agreed. At once, a smile re-emerged on her face.
Lan Xu continued to whisper, “Director Dai, how about we teach her a lesson later?”
Dai Yixin raised an eyebrow, “You have a good idea?”
Lan Xu was about to speak when she noticed Bai Weiwei on the side and glared at her, “Why are you just standing there? Are you eavesdropping? How shameless!!”
Bai Weiwei glared back at her, “To be calculative against a young girl for your personal gains, isn’t that more shameless?”
Then, she ignored the pair and walked in.
“Ha, how fake!” Lan Xu rolled her eyes at Bai Weiwei then whispered into Dai Yixin’s ear.
On the way to the banquet hall, Bai Weiwei caught sight of Qiao Qing. She lifted up her dress a little and jogged her way over.
Qiao Qing was strolling forward with her hands in her pocket.
When she felt someone pull on her shirt, she turned her head.
Bai Weiwei calmed herself down and caught her breath. She warned, “Dai Yixin and Lan Xu are planning something against you. You better be careful.”
Qiao Qing froze for a second before she grinned, “Poaching you may be the best decision Sky Entertainment has ever made.”
